Did you notice that the burger king commercial with Maureen McCormick also features Jerry Rogers, the guy who stole West Dale High's playbook that Greg left out on the table?
@@PointlessInternetMan Yes, he was in 3 other TBB episodes: he played the older guy hitting on the Senior that Greg the Freshman hoped to impress, the guy who sold Greg a lemon of a car, and the guy who wanted Greg to share expenses at his apt just before Greg got his attic bedroom. His name is Chris Beaumont, and his dad was TZ writer Charles Beaumont.
Hi! Just found your channel. The commercials were fun to watch. I liked the pink- it made the rest of the room feel more like a background and kept it from competing with you for the viewer's attention
Also in the Burger King commercial with Maureen McCormick was Chris Beaumont, who guested on the show several times as different characters! I wish I could find the commercial out there Mike Lookinland did around the same time as the show's fifth season. It was for a portable keyboard organ of some kind and as he plays the goofy tune some hippy people are gathering around to dance to it! Haha!
There is a blooper out there somewhere with Florence Henderson and a young child in one of the Wesson commercials. She messes up a line and swears. She looks at her pint sized co-star, smiles sheepishly, and says, “Mrs. Brady swears…”
No pink. :) Bill Hayes was also in that Oldsmobility commercial at the piano. He was on DAYS OF OUR LIVES for decades and died just recently at age 98.
Hi from Australia just subscribed to your channel in Australia we Had the Brady Bunch on our television screens we loved it but we did not get any of the commercials
@@PointlessInternetMan The end of the 60s was also the beginning of "the antiques craze". When it seemed anything from older than the 60s was tried to pass off as "an antique". (I am *exaggerating* but not *fabricating.)* My passing knowledge of "antiques" started in about the early/mid 70s, when my mother went full on into antiques. [Full disclosure: I was only 9 in 1970,]
I like no pink better, but would be open to such a theme if it somehow ties into the video. If you decide that the movie Payback is old enough to review, feel free to make the room a cool blue.
Hello, what a FUN video! Just a bit of useless trivia... 1.) Jan (Eve Plumb) was in a very "Big" tv movie of the week after the Brady Bunch, called Dawn, Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic. I found it here on youtube a couple of years ago. I believe Mark Hammel was in it also, if Im remembering correctly. Then Florence (again my memory is slipping), was the 1st woman co anchor for the original Today Show. This maybe on UA-cam also. Ill feel like a fool if Ive gotten this all wrong!!! 🤦 Your videos are great!!! 👍👍
Thank you so much! I remember seeing Dawn and the sequel a few years back. She was a really good actress. I remember Florence hosting the Today show or a similar show. She was so great!

I didn’t notice him!! That’s fantastic!

What a delightful bunch of commercials! I have the Burger Chef jingle stuck in my head now.
Great episode. Hey. GalaxyCon in Columbus, ohio, is coming up in December. Will you be there? Loved seeing you last time. And no pink

Oh that sounds fun! I have not seen that one! I’ll will look up Chris!
I just posted the same thing! Great minds......
As a professional set designer, I say that the pink ties everything together well!
Thank you! I think I will keep it that way! Glad to hear your input!
Florence used to fry a loaf of bread in Wesson, and my mouth watered every single time..😅
Florence Henderson also did commercials for Tang orange drink.
I’ll have to look that up!
Mmmmmm

Cool info - Ann B Davis (Alice) was a two-time Emmy winner. She won it for her performance in the “Bob Cummings Show”.
I didn’t know she won an Emmy for that. She was so great in that show.
We saw Tiger a couple times in the 2nd season. He him steal Marcia's homework paper in the Cindy tattle-tale episode.
Oh I remember those episodes! I need to rewatch the series!!
Fun fact, Rosey Grier was the guy that tackled sirhan sirhan, when he shot Bobby Kennedy.
Oh wow! That is a cool fact! Never heard that
I had heard it. But I would call it just a fact, not a fun fact. That night was extremely painful for those of us who lived through 1968.
And he was legendary to needlepoint an acceptable hobby.
Rosey Grier is actress Pam Grier's cousin.
The PINK hue makes it look cozy.
Yeah it does!

One vote for pink
It is pretty! Thanks so much for watching to the end! That’s awesome!!
I always wondered, did they actually hit Marsha with a football?? I cant imagine they did.
It must have been something lighter, but it looks like it hurt!
The actress that plays Alice, was not playing the character of Alice in the commercials....of course
No, you’re right, but I feel like they cast her in a very similar role in some of these commercials.
The Brady Bunch aired in the 70s not the 60s
You’re right, but it did start in 1969.
I loved Burger Chef
4:08 IDK I was there. The 60s was during the Formica/Modern furniture craze. Think "faux-Jetson's"
A whole lot of it was crap. lol
You make a really great point.

🦩it’s a fun color!
I’m gonna vote… no pink. The colors of your room popped!
Ooh! Split 50/50 right now! Thanks for watching, buddy!

That’s so funny you mention that movie! I still think of how strange the lighting was in that film!

I'll definitely look for the sequel, I didn't realize they made one!
It’s called “Alexander” about a young man on the street. Eve plays Dawn in the movie.
