Nice and clean !!! ! You may have to play more with the density depending to your scene lightning.
Thank you! and thanks for the useful added note! 😁
thank you so much, if i wanna make the smoke to be larger what should i do?
Cheers! :) what do you mean by larger? increased density?
I would recommend you play with the settings to find what you are exactly looking for.
You can start by experimenting with the density number inside the Cone object (flow).
And inside the Domain -> Gas section.
I'm going to create a smoke video in the future with more examples and explanations, but I really encourage you to just spend a few good minutes and experiment with the numbers until you are satisfied. Have fun with it ✌🏻:)
thanks a lotttttt
You are welcome! Enjoy :))
Thank you so much, you very helped me
I'm really happy to hear that! Cheers and good luck with your project! 😁
@@3d.errorist Thank you:) I'm doing now a car cinematic for a mobile game and had a problem with the smoke for wheels, and now I finally found a video where this is explained nice and clean)
@@3d.errorist especially in newest version of Blender:)
@@zerco1249 If you want and if it is your game come back and share the link when the game is ready! And really Good Luck there especially if you are an indie one :) I know it requires so much time and effort with everything.
@@3d.errorist yes of course) when it will be done I will share the link :)
I want to ask where is the place to reduce the height of the smoke?
You can play with the "Fire" settings inside the "Smoke Domain". And if you are not sure what each field does - hover with your mouse over each field and you will get a very brief explanation that can help you adjust the settings and get the result you are looking for :)
the “bake all” option won’t appear for me, how do i fix ?
figured it out. for anyone else wondering, the cache type has to be set to “all”
GG solving by yourself and thanks for sharing solution with others :)
how can I make the smoke go down and faster? thanks.
You could have the answer way faster if you would do a little bit more research. I have a cauldron tutorial where the smoke is rising down... nah ;)
I would also encourage you to hover with your mouse on the input fields. In most cases at least you can get a hint about which field can help you achieve what you want/need.
Okay, and now straight to the point:
- smoke "go down": inside the smoke domain "buoyancy density" and "heat" should have negative numbers.
- faster rising smoke: for example by increasing the "temperature" inside the smoke domain.
thanks. Yeah I figured it out although your information is helpful. thanks. @@3d.errorist
@user-mb9mc3st5v awesome! Cheers and good luck with your project :)
how to hide the cone? in render view
Find your cone in the Outliner Window (top right corner) and there click on the camera icon :)
@@3d.errorist oh thank u so much :)
@@david-mu6mo Cheers! :))
this doesn't work for me, the smoke just fills up the entirety of the box around 10 seconds ):
You had to miss a step because I double-checked the file and it works fine in blender 3.3.
Make sure to follow everything closely and that the scale is applied.
You are more than welcome to join the discord, upload the file there and I will have a look at it and let you know where the issue was :)
@@3d.erroristthe same thing is happening to me
@@murphymccullough6838 It's like I said previously - in that case you had to miss something because if you follow step by step it will work.
You can always join my discord channel (link in description) and there share with me your file and I can see what is wrong and get back to you with an answer :)
same thing to me @@3d.errorist
how i change smoke color?
Select "smoke domain" and inside the "shader editor" change the color :)
thanks man@@3d.errorist
@@althafauliaelanang5940cheers! Good luck with your project:)

It is working 100%. You probably missed a step and didn't follow the video properly :)
