Buyer beware. I found out Epson says printer "defective" if you put sublimation ink in it. I have a 2760 that doesn't work. It's only a few months old . They sent me a replacement (refurb) but might not if they'd known it was used for sublimation . They didn't know till after the fact and they'd had already agreed to send a the replacement.
I see what u did there...good move. I just went and got the ET 15000. I traded my 7820 in and paid the difference. I got lucky and found it at the Staples by my house!! Good thing I didn't open the box for the 7820, I don't have the space for 2 printers. Anyway, glad u got ur ET too. Saves u so much bread on them cartridges...$68 a pop until they come out with the new "Benzi boxes" for it. A little crazy even if the product u sell pays for it, still losin that rite off rip. Good move bro.

Thanks for the video I converted my printer but The ink is a little dull and the ink release is not doing like it should. Do I have to download the Epson software to get good quality images?
If I was to use up the ink in my printer could I then converter my printer a sublimation printer I just bought it and was watching to heat press T-shirt’s

Did you have to d/l anything special to get vibrant colors? ICC or whatever it is called?
Hi Judy, it really depends on the ink. Some inks do recommend that you download an ICC. Which sublimation ink are you using?
before you filled the cartridges what did you do with the regular ink or does the cartridges come empty already
The re-fillable cartridges arrive empty.

Comparing to your picture the printed graph colors were off.
Thank you for the comment. In person the colors look closer. However, they will never look 100% as in the image.

I bought this printer used and I'm not sure what kind of ink is in the printer. How can I tell the difference?
You can just try printing an image. If its faded its probably sublimation ink. If the quality of the print looks good then its probably regular ink.

Yes, after it is empty you can fill the printer with sublimation ink. You might have to do a couple of head cleaning to flush the old ink.

Yes, it is Adobe Photoshop that i am using. No, its a monthly subscription.
