last year a minecraft speedrunner with 130k subs called couriway got hacked by crypto people. he lost 13k subs in the 2 days it took for youtube to fix his channel. a few weeks ago another mcyt called mapicc got hacked by crypto people and his channel got deleted, it took 2 weeks for yt to fix it. we need to raise awareness about this crap. idk how it even happens

I don't understand why more media outlets aren't talking about this - it seems like a pretty big hack. Given the lack of notifications and use of authenticator apps, it looks like the hack was an inside job, where the videos were uploaded directly at the back end, bypassing the need to log into each profile, meaning there was no log in attempt and no need for the authenticator code. If that was the case that's pretty major. Sounds like it was either someone on the inside who had admin access to the back end or the hacker managed to gain back end access. I'm just surprised more people aren't talking about this, almost as though it has been silenced somehow?

Its a shame that UA-cam was worried about less important things while this is allowed to happen. I even got a scam crypto ad, which I know because the same company hacked other channels so it should be a red flag that they aren't legit if they have to do that to other channels. And with bots, 1,000 of them can flood an entire comment chain in under a minute. That shouldn't be possible. I was watching a stream and this bot kept coming back no matter how many times it got blocked. Like I don't feel safe anymore because of this.

Imagine hacking a famous person to just upload crypto scams. They could have done something worse, but crypto scams aren't that bad as most normal people don't even know or care about crypto.

My youtube account literally got hacked a couple hours ago, a bunch of bitcoin and crypto videos got uploaded aswell as a FIFA 22 cracked game video for some reason, thankfully they didn't delete any videos and i changed my password and removed the videos

Yo bro, theres a big news to day. Multiple youtubers from different countries r getting hacked by Etherium and other Crypto related channels. Idk what happened but something is really wrong. Most of the channels r high subs.
I actually clicked on the notification from mr whosetheboss. I knew though that he would never type in all caps like that and by then the video was deleted.
It happened to Scrimzox too about a year ago, but here's the thing: they have a security key but somehow hackers still managed to get into their account, deletes all their videos and post crypto bullcrap.
I think I know what happened, do you know cookie logging, these channels might have gone to shady websites in the past, they probably don't remember them going to these, and these shady websites stolen their cookies, which can be easily edited in your browser, and you would be able to login to your gmail account and other crap using this, the reason these channels never got any notifications about a new login, is because the cookie is specific to your device, and if you login through cookies, google and such would think it's the same person, because the cookie matches.
Even if you use a VPN, it doesn't always mean security. A VPN just changes your location by connecting you to another server. And to be honest, it's only useful for getting around

But the video was different, it was like a live stream with people talking about cryptocurrency and his channel name was changed to something like HyperCrypto or something and his picture was changed and all of his videos went missing but everything is back to normal now
It's probably them somehow stealing cookies Cookies are small strings stored in your browser, they are usually used to store logins, so if they have your UA-cam/Google cookies, they can add it to another browser and log into his account, and he will not get a notification, as Google thinks you have the same device

There is this channel that got terminated by the name of NotNeverBg a hacker hacked his youtube channel and nammed it MIRCOSTRATEGY CEO and did a live stream and got banned. This is all I know.I don't know the main resson,but it's something to do with cryptocurrency.
There was another youtuber named "Steve Terreberry" who also got the same thing. His channel is recovered now but this happened in May so I think it's out of date now.
Mrwhosetheboss really don't deserve to be hacked. Imo he's a really entertaining content creator.

It was real, it happened to 2 other UA-camrs I watched and it happened twice to one of them, the 2 UA-camrs were Psyched Substance and ODD TV
