It’s been a few months ago now, but I actually stumbled across this same rabbit hole as well reporting them along the way making notes of commonly linked accounts. The exact same setups, account linking, etc. Its wild and sad that nothing will be done to them.

UA-cam doesn't take down these bots because they generate ad revenue. Bots still generate money sadly.
That's why UA-cam will eventually go down. Other than companies who focus on the best experience for the consumers.
The bot accounts are often new, UA-cam could maybe stop them from being formed in the first place, but if they take them down others will be created.
I'm kind of confused since if they're bots and generate money, where does it go to since there's no human to operate the bank balance, so does that mean UA-cam is getting scammed?

@stephanieamanyi9503 there's more than that, too. I have some criteria I have for identifying them. NSFW or no pfp, generic or nonsensical name, account 3 years old or newer, obtuse or nonsensical comments, spam comments, and / or horrible grammar. I'm completely fed up with them.

Basically these bots goals are to get you to click on suspicious links that can get you hacked and steal your private information I just don’t click on random links that are not supplied by a trusted person I believe you can see the website name with the link itself so if it’s a website, you don’t know don’t click on the link but if you work somewhere and a coworker gives you a link I think you can definitely trust them

UA-cam really has their act together on these bots. Must be hard to detect copied comments coming from accounts that get constantly flagged for scams.

This happened to me when i commented on one of dannos short a few minutes later a person name police_officer_28301 he said: who asked + my content is better than danno 😂😂😂 and i was heartbroken when i saw that comment i HATE youtube BOTS their very rude.

I noticed how a lot of comments are so annoying as at least in some cases I'll see comments that don't have much to do with the topic and a lot of parroting with them saying almost the exact same thing with the only difference being emojis. So yeah it sure seems like something suspicious is going on. Same thing with the massive amount of likes even in a short amount of time.
Daily dose of internet is like that now. He uploads a video & 2mins later it has 5k+ views 1000s of comments and likes full of people saying

The real question is: Whhy not?
i am currently investigating this. I am a complete small fry in the UA-cam scene and investigating things isn't usually my play as I am ultimately just another human. what I can say is that this is a mix between 2 operations. targeted comment bots that have been sent to a direct comment section or popular comment sections, the 2nd operation is the classic UA-cam like and comment channel bot that focuses primarily on the users channel in order to grow their channel. as of now I do not know the company, website or app behind these but I do speculate it will most likely be an app from the android app store and or a private website. these bots are usually controlled by the channel owner and I have already seen people try to cover up the channel botting by replying to anyone who suspects them. I would like to ask if anyone knows any of the apps distributing these bots would it be possible i could obtain that info as it would greatly help

So just to utter how prolific this has gotten, today is 6/20/23. I've never noticed a "Jullia" channel link before, but today alone I've watched, let's say, 10 shorts and encountered LOTS of comments from repeating channel names starting with "Jullia" like "Julliastars" and Julliared6831" and so on. UA-cam has to act on this crap. Why are they allowing it!?
