I can not believe I found you! I have been struggling with all the different plans and what I should and should not do. I am setting here in tears listening to you talk about your daily meal plans. How yo do what fits your lifestyle and how you make changes everyday to accommodate the kids. I have no words for how fortunate I feel to have found you. Know I know I can do this journey to a healthy me by doing what works for me and to continue to meal prep like I feel I should and work out like I believe I should and stop the latest trend/new thing that does not work for me. I have a similar routine like you but without the meal prep. That is my next mountain to climb before I have my daily nutrition dialed in like you. Great job and congrats on your amazing self discipline.

i tried intermittent fasting because i want to lose weight, i just want o share my experience with it, its really actually hard to sustain plus i do experience very excruciating headache thats why i stopped it and started agoge diet. i did lose weight without all those bad things and i have never been happier

Wait! You have 4 kids and you live a busy life style! You look amazing! You have now motivated me. The food you make looks so delicious. I definitely will have to try them. This video is so helpful. I have 2 kiddos and both play soccer and I have a desk job, and have little time for myself. Also, it doesn't help that have hypothyroidism. Watching this video, makes me feel like there is hope for me.

I am so glad you shared your food choices with us. You eat within your time frame while still choosing foods you enjoy. I saw a combination of protein, carbs, fats, dairy and vegies. I am new at this IF so I wasn't sure if there were restricted foods. I love low fat cottage cheese with fresh tomato and pepper. Today I added celery and pecans. I will keep it as an option because it's delicious and it keeps me satisfied until dinner. I was also very happy to find out that a little half and half in a cup of coffee does not break a fast. Thank you for your insightful video.

That’s almost exactly what I do. I eat 2 smallish meals within 4-4.5 hours. I’m down 29 pounds in about a year, and I have 20 lbs to go. I’m glad to find this channel.

I love your energy! Congratulations on the lifestyle changes you made, and the weight loss and fitness achievements you are now enjoying. I watched your videos: 'Whole Foods vs Supplements', and 'The 7 Foods I Eat Daily'. Very informative! Then I watched this video, and I was surprised to see no vegetables, no dark leafy greens, no avocado...two servings of berries were the only fresh, whole produce consumed in the entire day. The meals consisted mostly of protein, breads, and dairy...how are you getting the nutrients you're missing by not eating the missing whole foods mentioned in 'Whole Foods vs Supplements'?

I eat between 12.30pm and 7pm . Tea or coffee in between. Two meals ! I start the morning with a black coffee and ACV/lemon in 100ml of water
Thank you for the inspiration! I will use these tips, but I’ll have to tweak a couple of things. 1. My meals are vegetarian 2. My fasting window is shorter. I can only do 16 hours.

I've lost 40lbs this year with IF 🤷🏻♀️ easiest way to live, honestly! Also the only thing that cured my menopause brain fog LOL and I still treat myself to McDonald's once in a blue moon😃

great video! i've started to do intermittent fasting but for the really short windows do you find that you're so full from having meals so close together that you're hungry later on.

Wow! You eat a lot! ❤️I found your channel because I'm trying to figure out how many proteins, carbs, fats, and sugars I should have in my window. I can't eat the amount you do in a setting, actually in a day! I am so full now and I've had 2 eggs, 1 toast, 1 glass of milk and a cup of blackberries. My fast will be starting in 45 minutes and I'm only at 553 calories!!! I drink a TON of water (feeling extremely thirsty and drinking too much H2O is actually a medical problem for me). I hope You have some of this info in your channel or at least sources to use.
Finally, Articulated easy, well thought out, sensible explanation on intermittent fasting..without the, eat this..don't eat that..I geniunely like and subscribed to her channel...💅🏿
i love seeing what others eat who’ve lost a good bit of weight. I eat very similarly, except I eat from 9/10am-6pm so not really IF. Sometimes I accidentally do IF cuz I’m less hungry but deliberately doing IF has lead to reoccurring binge eating for me so I really just focus on overall calories and I’ve lost 110lbs and keeping it off the last couple years. If IF works for someone great, if it doesn’t, you can totally still eat well and lose weight by focusing on overall consistency and habits and good food!
How did you lose 110 lbs then if IF did not work for you
@@keishahaywood5750 I ate in a calorie deficit by counting calories using my fitness pal & increasing my protein & fiber intake to keep me satisfied. All IF is is creating a calorie deficit by shortening your eating window but if I deliberately do that much, I get TOO hungry and struggle with binge eating.

Qhere is the balanced meal my dear ? its powder schakes and 1 bagel end 3 mini pancakes. no cooking no veggies no meal.

Hi Lacy. Can you clarify your coffee in the morning? I thought that anything but black coffee tea or water was it. Cream in my coffee is a game changer to get me through but I thought it def broke the fast. Thank you!
So many weird videos that make me question my methods.. your video helped me alot
Loved the video. I need all the help I can get because I work night shift (12hr, 12hr, 8hr, 8hr) (4 night shifts in a row). Then sometimes on my 3 days off in a row, I keep a more normal schedule with the family. So getting on a routine fasting times is hard, I try to just time it from the last time I eat for 16 hours or so. I wish there was a better way for me to do it!
Try alternate day fasting . This is where you fast 1 whole day and eat the next. You can start with 6:1 and then see if you like it. If it's good, then move up to 5:2.
Lots of great suggestions in here. But not a single vegetable in your meal plan all day?
You don’t need veggies to have a balanced meal.
Perhaps this has been answered. Lately i have not had much time to work out, I am just trying to maintain my weight. And also approaching menopause. I do not need as much protein or carbs, is that correct?

Hi .. In a week, how often to do you do IF?
I personally use 16:8.. but we do this on Saturdays to Tuesdays.. then I dont do IF on Wednesdays to Fridays. I just do my best and eat less (cal deficit) on Wed to Fri.
Will that be ok? Or should I do IF the entire week? Month?

I agree that consistency makes it easier and preparation for sure helps me not eat the wrong foods.
Lacey,I'm 65 & I want to work this plan correctly.......I fast from 7:00PM-11:00AM.I've cheated....a few slices of turkey & cheese,maybe a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat,with soup.
Are you ever concerned that you aren't eating any vegetables? Have you considered the benefits of leafy greens etc?

One of my fears is triggering a binge due to intermittent fasting.

i have been intermittent fasting for a month - 12 noon to 7:30 pm - I feel so much better - I try to reduce my carb because I am trying to lose weight. Weight is coming off slowly - but it is dropping :) - thanks for these videos

Now that I’m 50 I’m trying intermittent fasting. It was hard in the beginning but now I get full faster. Sugar makes my body feel really strange. I’m on the 16/8 fasting. I do live by Fitness Pal to hold myself accountable. I don’t want to count calories forever but it takes time to learn about fat. What I don’t like about the app is that it doesn’t register healthy fat so I’m always over 30%. Do you have any advise for this? My macros are 40% carbs, 30% fat and 30% protein. My carbs never seem to hit 40%. I’m normally around 30-34% daily. I’m not really trying to lose weight but maintaining is important to me. I struggle in the morning while fasting. Is there any organic sweeteners that won’t break my fast?

How many calories is this? Also, if someone does not exercise as much as you or is at a different age--like me-- mid-50's...this is too much food (for me). I can tailor it to my 1200-1300 calories per day.
