I'm just finising this video, left halfway a few days ago. The asteroids are really cool. Probably my favorite feature in SE2 so far. I'm personally biased towareds Asteroid texture 03. I really like the asteroid textures in general. Fantastic job.

I´m thinking why they didn´t add 10cm blocks shown in pioneer edition. It will be great for small vehicles or ships.
Visually a leap forward and very impressive and that's with just what you can see. Be great to see what other improvements there are now and to come in the future.
With the part where you start destroying the building in this video, you destroy a walkway with a section of pipe running alongside. Afterwards there is one section of pipe that remains in place, even though the pipe has been obliterated either side of it. Will this remain the case with sections 'floating' when in reality they should fall with gravity or float away in space ?
Hey, that's a good point! In outer space, this approach might hold up since there could be countless edge cases that could severely impact performance otherwise. But we're still in development so lots of concepts may change anytime! Thanks for your kind words!

No worries it’s just a placeholder ;) It will be polished and brought to general style I guarantee that!
@@defonten Cool. I kind of expected that. I thought I point it out regardless, because it was the most glaring. We played the game live for 10+ hours yesterday, and I found some things with paints that were not publicied. If you import SE1 models, they can bring themselves textures and colors that are currently not available in SE2. We also went through the care pacakge that came with the founders edition talking about the concept arts and all that. It's a good release - even though personally I will play it more when planets and survival will come. And of course multiplayer.

4/5 th of the game are not even there.
When a game has 460 players online 2 days after launch ... also on a Friday night..... its anything but EPIC!! its as much of a flop as the first one. just in higher definition and still no round blocks.
Excited and disappointed. Its a tech demo at best. Keen know what we want in SE 2 and they said, "Heres a 30$ tech demo."
This *is* what we asked for. Game development used to be a closed process. We might get a fully fleshed out game but it would be after years of waiting with no access, and there would likely be little follow-up support. We wanted early access and this is what that means. They have a well thought out road map and have shown proof of every concept. Really not sure what more you could ask for.
They were very clear on exactly what we were getting
