Max pretty sure we graduated the same year. When I wrestled at pats and with what you did your first year at lane your name was everywhere that some judo kid was throwing top ranked wrestlers lol. Amazing to see your still killing it brother. 💪🏼🤝🏼
Your lying for likes bro
I don't think he is lying. Everything he said makes sense.
@@louie8815 lol I grew up with Nick and Chris Dardane who wrestled at OPRF and Minnesota. Max wrestled Nick and threw him with an uchi mata that shocked everyone. Why I would lie for likes from people I don’t know is absurd my friend.
I’m just giving credit where it’s due and genuinely happy to see him doing big things.
Such a safe and effective way to train. This is excellent.
Absolutely!
Dude, I love your instructionals. I saw the Arsonist. You and JFLO man, you guys are amazing teachers!
Did you say people can get access to your technique instructionals on patreon?
Yes sir. Full instructionals, technique breakdowns, and exclusive rolling footage available
Wow.. that was so much value in 8 minutes. Thank you!👏👏🙌
You are my favorite UA-cam teacher. Thanks for your lessons, cheers from Brazil! 🇧🇷
I love Judo throws. I will try to drill this on my No-Gi practice
awesome details max, been loving the uchi mata into front headlock, very high success rate
You’re the man! Thank you professor- my favorite throw from my favorite UA-cam instructor.
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come!
UA-cam instructor lul
Great instructions! This will fit well into my game. Thank you!
The point on keeping your head higher was really crucial for me. I keep messing up the cancan and I think that's the reason why!
Thanks!
I got you. The full uncut version is 24min long and available on my Patreon. It has all the small details you might be missing.
*kenken
@@EricHalverson83I look like I'm dancing when I do it, so cancan
@@onejudoka is the "White Belt" membership enough for me to watch that 24 min version?
@@guilhermemarquesdafonseca5454 yes sir. If you have any issues drop me a dm on Patreon
Wow . Thank you.
Hell yeah brother, taste the rainbow!
This is gold. Very data rich content, thanks!
Great video Max, really enjoying your content
Thanks!
Really enjoying these instructionals. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we'd love to see a video about how you like to go about timing your deashi barai
Got one coming next week
@@onejudoka awesome!! I
Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels. Thanks, Max. One question: why control at the wrist as opposed to the tricep on the far arm?
In judo, we grip the gi near the wrist to guide the opponent to the direction we wanna throw him to..I believe the same principle applies for no-gi as well
Yoooooooo I will check your Patreon. Thanks bro.
I need a master class in falling also
When should I opt for the ken ken uchimata and when should I opt for the front headlock uchimata since it's almost the same set up?
I go for the ken ken if my opponent is around my height I go for the front headlock if they are taller than I am. Just a general rule of thumb
Wilson Steven Lopez Shirley Allen Elizabeth
fantastic teaching as always. question for you, since you say that you want to have the head height, any tips on executing this as the shorter guy against a taller opponent other than looking to pull down the wrist? i find i have a lot of trouble with this against taller guys
also curious if you have any thoughts on the supinated/bicep curl/underclasp grip youll see islam do a lot, where the wrist control is just bicep curl trapping their forearm/wrist against their body rather than a straight wrist grip or tricep
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do you also have Judo Gi videos on your patreon?
Not yet! But I'm working on it
Are you a lefty ? If I'm a lefty, do I have to have my left leg in front ?
Yes I'm a lefty (most of the time). Left handed = Left foot lead.
@@onejudoka thank you !
Your "big uchi mata" is not uchi mata - its hane goshi
I need evidence
@@onejudoka Type "Uchi Mata Vs Hane Goshi Vs Harai Goshi || What's The Difference?" in youtube search
So articulate...
@@onejudoka too hard, english is not my native language
uchi mata is more "leg technique", hane goshi "hip technique", and aimed for far leg
My coach is a bjj blackbelt, but when he tries to teach judo my god is it a shit show
I'd love to come put for a seminar
