- Once again my sound failed me. That happened a lot on this trip. So there is only a little bit of sound once in a while coming from the GoPro mounted on the bike which is not very loud or very good quality. 🙁
I was so happy that I made it to the top. 3 years ago I came out here solo and that was my first solo trip on the bike. I got very sick with the high altitude and couldn't make it all the way to the top. I was hoping with buying the oxygen bottle that it would help me get to the top and it did. I think having my family with me helped too because I knew if I had trouble they could help me.
Such fun memories of this trip. It was such a good time having my family with me.
If you haven't been to Pikes Peak, you definitely need to put it on your list.
It was a very steep climb and very hot outside so all three of our bikes were getting hot. We had to pull over quite often to let him cool down.

Thank you Jody! Me too. I didn't feel very good while I was doing it but the oxygen and family made it bearable.

I agree, I can barely make it on a motorcycle. The altitude gets me.
We rode to the top in August 2022... There was snow up there and also that is when Tommy G lost his hydraulic clutch...
So glad you got to go up there.
Wow that's not a good place to have mechanical problems. Christy was having some brake problems coming down and that's not good! 😏
