This is a beautiful stitch Sarah, especially with the pretty colors you used.
Great! It is perfect for Winter, thank you for sharing with us. The colours are beautiful too. Blessings
Gorgeous stitch! I literally just opened a box of yarn I bought and have 3 heather rose colors that will work perfectly with this stitch! Timing is everything! 💜🙏🤘🏿💜

This would make such a warm blanket and winter is fast approaching!
I love this stitch. Thank you so much.
Love this one. I'm going to make a scarf with this and maybe a hat. I think it will work out. Thank you for this tutorial. God bless and stay safe 🙏
What a great pattern. Easy to do but looks fantastic. Thanks for the tutorial.

Thank so much for this tutorial. Those puff stitches are so even. I’m going to design a baby cardigan and a matching hat and blanket. Thanks for showing easy step up close and personal
Beautiful :)
This is great!! Best I've seen! Thank you!
Thanks for teaching very Easy way Appreciated
Fabulous
I simply love this stitch. I believe it is exactly what I've been looking for ☺️. I just hope I can pull my hook through the loops. I have such a hard time with that, lol. I believe this will be worth the fuss. Tyfs God bless you
Try going up one hook size from the recommended hook on the yarn you are using..and remember to ease up the tension...and pull up the loop to the double crochet height! good luck!
@@DH-qz2so ty for the advice☺
Nice 😍
That's Cool
Wow like that
Ty sarah.....I like it....😂🧶...very very cute
You’re welcome!
Very good
Such a yarn hog! 😆 It's so beautiful though, thank you for sharing. I learned something new!!!
You’re welcome - and it really is a yarn hog but it’s just so pretty!
I L-O-V-E this stitch. Because the puff stitch is done, essentially, around the double crochet, it helps each puff stitch stay even looking and full. I can't wait to design a hat using this stitch.
I'm planning on making a hat as well! But I'm still a newbie and I'm struggling to figure out how to get it going in a round 🤦🏼♀️ any tips?
@@amandaphillips7731 I haven't tried it yet. Let me play around with it today and I'll get back to you.
You can do this stitch in a rectangle and then join the two ends and gather the top to create a hat.
Thank you for sharing your piece. It's a lovely pattern. Is there any way to keep the foundation chain from curling and being so taught compared to the other rows?
Love the way you teach. thank you. I had a question. Some people suggest adding a single chain to the double crochet, while I see that you don't. What is the reason for the double crochet?
Wonder if I could just braid some strips and stitch them together? I saw a lady make a rug like that years ago. Either way this stitch is beautiful. You have many beautiful stitches and super clear instructions on your channel!! ♡♡
Lovely stitch. what weight is the yarn you are using n can you use any weight yarn.?Though I think the thicker yarns maybe better
What kind of border would you do for Afghan?
What type of border works wells on this puff stitch? Thanks
How do you start the first row?
Q: If I am doing a Mile a Minute crochet project, where we are crocheting one LONG strip per month, about 2 inches in width, 60 inches high, not including the border which is the joining row...and every strip each month is a different stitch... would it work to create a strip using a stitch, where as long as the turning chain is '3', as the other ones are...that it would line up and work to join up? This current project will take us to December, as it is one strip per month...which I think is crazy as I can whip up a strip in 2 nights! So was thinking just to find neat stitches, that have a long turning chain or a double crochet, and doing my own thing...what do you think?
Hi if I skip the puff stitch and dc in next ch1 space then the puff is worked in the previous ch1sp as the previous puff is that correct or must I skip a ch1 sp.
This is gorgeous! This probably wouldn’t work in the round since the braided look comes from turning your work, right?
It’s true - it can be still worked in the round but at the end of each you will need to turn your work
@@RichTexturesCrochet haha that was a silly question! Thank you :)
Beautiful but definitely a yarn eater. Would have to use some really economical yarn.
Esse é o ponto puff cruzado?
can this stitched be worked in the round?
It’s excellent puff stitches are so even !!
And your tutorial are very detailed to follow Thank you for sharing with us!!!
Supported your channel hope you support back and stay connected too
Does this stitch use alot of yarn?
Yes it does :)
I do not see the written pattern. I have gone to the site and clicked everything I see in there but do not see the written pattern. To be honest I can't even find this stitch on the site at all
Hello Sandy, you will find the written pattern here: richtexturescrochet.com/braided-puff-stitch-how-to-crochet/
Love the pattern but it's too fast and not close enough to the camera. Color is too dark to see where you place that middle stitch. Fingers are in the way and it's not on a good angle. It's just about showing a stitch pattern and not teaching how to crochet a stitch pattern. By crocheting super slow you might just show someone how to do it. I've been crocheting for 50 years and learning a new stitch isn't easy, I watched another video about 30 times for a much simpler stitch. I want to learn this stitch so I might have to keep looking for a slower video.
