Astounding episode ! How you both scatter the truths and complexities, just like scattering pearls in a free way ! Rightly said, beyond a point, ART springs from the HEART. It is certainly not an exaggeration, but, your soulful music pumps bliss into the ARTery of our life and makes our HEART & soul, light, for you are a pair of wonderful ARTistes who ease our Monday mornings ! Thank you akkas ❤️
It was a beautiful episode .there are so many film songs which are emotionally sung .sometimes the singer also cries . Mention of this particular song was not necessary at all. Old timers like us are emotionally connected to some songs like tu pyar ka sagar hai this comparison was out of context.
The invisible ropes are such a part of you that when you soar at escape velocity, they don't pull you down but fly with you! Absolutely loved this episode about how emotional content should be the aspiration, the goal that technical mastery leads one towards. We're eternally grateful that you two can always stay so grounded, and be that one conscious step away, without indulging yourself, so your rasikas can drown in abandon. Doubtlessly a sacrifice you choose to make, every single time! And indeed, without celestial prowess and unflinching convictions such as yours, how CAN one ever convey emotions effectively through music? Resort to crying oneself, probably! And Oh God, that picnic spot. I still cherish that Ted talk about classical music, where everyone in the audience just knows that the next note would be Sa, because "we all know where home is". Thanks for this beautiful video!
Mr Akshay, I (why I, most probably, most of us) love your feed back posts as equally as Ra Ga's music and their sharing exercise. Great! Keep it up Sir.
Your music is straight from the soul . That's why it's emotive and haunting at the same time . When Ranjani mam sings the viruttams . Its just staright from her soul and heart . Love it Ranjani mam . When Gayatri mam creates the alapna or a tanam , definitely it's an eye opener for me , that the raga is explored to a great extent . Overall you both make the most amazing pair of sisters . The words that I'm writing here is springing from my heart . Lots of appreciation and love to you both . Radha
Lalgudi Sir mastered the emotive Sangathis and words exploring and pinning the meaning and the context in Violin too .He was the torch bearer of such ideas and creativity .
Every Carnatic teacher should play this clip to their aspiring students from time to time. Quite often I see youngsters sing with no emotions or bhavam to really good ragas like Reethi Gowla or Revathi which really bothers me. You both are god's gift to Carnatic music. No wonder you have such a huge following who adore and love you.
I always feel emotional when you are rendering Tamil viruthams. Bring tears. Please continue to render viruthams. Can you please render viruthams in your next episode..
The Thodi Aalap and 16.26-minute message - Musician must stand 1 foot away from getting swamped by emotions yet be able to articulate enough to touch the soul of the listener!! Wow akkas, BESTEST episode!!
One of your best episodes I must say!!! I was shaking my head and listening as if I was physically sitting in front of you both. Should appreciate the person who asked this question too ! I got so many take away s from this conversation that I need to write a whole essay if I have to mention them . So will refrain from that :) As two musicians who have mastered singing with emotions, you are the best authoritative source to speak about it. Kudos to you both for bringing out such a complex topic so beautifully and in a manner understandable to everyone. My teacher always says ' kathukumbodhu rasikadha, kucheri kekumbodhu kanna mudindu ketutu varadha - techniques ah gavani' Those times, I feel very jealous of rasikas who have simply chosen to enjoy the music.
I am a learning carnatic music student and I also enjoy both the technical and emotional aspects of carnatic music. When I hear to concerts, especially your margazhi Maha utsavam 2013 concert in UA-cam, every one of those songs rendered in that concert standard unparalleled technically and emotionally. I just now finished hearing your session today and it was superb especially the thodi alapana, neraval in adi varum mayil and aduthu vandhu ennai and the swarams in that place. One example of the emotional part of music is vidwans like semmangudi mama whose music contained beauty in everything and emotionally touched everyone who had the right balance of both the technical and emotional aspects of his music especially his soulful rendition of cheta sri balakrishnam, marubalka and Sri mathrubootham and his amba neelayadakshi and madurai Mani mama who technically and emotionally touched every rasika especially his sarasa sama Dana, entha vedukondu raghava, eppo varuvaro and many. An ardent rasika akkas.
Ragas rendering of Kandrin Kuralai Kettu: Muhari, in Awakening Album... which was published in 2004 , I guess when you were too early in Kutcheri Vocal singing, was a Great Retention. I personally thank almighty for having created these vocalist RAGA who takes the audience near to the almighty. Thanks Krishna!
Viewed from a listener's perspective emotion springs up within me as a function of two distinct things -the lyrics and the music - separately. The legendary Nedunuri put it in apt words while interviewing (the original is in Telugu) that I will paraphrase: Sahityam gives the listener 'atma-gynanam', while sangeetham is what provides 'atma-anandam'. It is the complex interplay/chemistry/dance between the two - sahityam and sangeetham, in indefinable ways that create the wonderful emotions that we all experience. Like Ranjani stated the manifestations are in the form of goose bumps but there are several that even report a vibratory feeling in the heart region (the heart chakra). Excellent topic!!
Wow! This was a lovely episode!!! I am one of those people who does not understand the technical aspects of music, but one who really enjoys it. I always wonder what is there in music that makes me enjoy it without even knowing what it is. Yes it is true that when we understand the lyrics we appreciate the music all the more. Today thanks to Google we can find the translations of any of the keerthanas on the internet. Thanks again for a lovely Monday morning.
Extremely feeling delightful after watching every candid of Ranjani mam Gayatri mam !... I just love RaGA mam manodharmam.!!! I just admire & love their neraval , swaram , ragam , tanam!... the RTP’s are challenging and just fantastic The emotion ( raga Bhava , Bhakti bhava, the bhava of the song )conveyed is so beautiful and delightful Ranjani mam & Gayatri mam are my role model that how to sing with the bhava!.. & how to sing excellent with proper aesthetics thank you so much . Namaskaram 🙏🏻
Ranjani mam has that beauty of emotive music in her elegant of voice and Gayatri mam has the beautiful sonority in her enriched voice and of course that manodharmam aspect of you both is what I love the most👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
When the Divine touches, IT touches, you can not plan it, you can not learn it, and when IT comes it is *Grace* ... And when this Grace showers upon the singer it flows and irradiates from them to the listeners.... And those are the blessings experienced by those who are lucky to be there...
These videos are very valuable!!! It would be really helpful if there could be more videos to teach/enlighten us on all "gamakas" and techniques associated to sing along! This is an appeal from an ardent carnatic music lover! Hope my request reaches you both!
For Ranjani: Emotions do affect the heart physically and can be measured by the pulse rate which rises and falls accordingly. As a pure fan of music, I do not worry about the technicalities but the sound moves and embraces me. That is the way my heart is affected.
Today’s topic was very interesting and deep. How beautifully narrated! And with so much ease! Typically RaGa Much of the emotional significance that we find in music comes from our own life experience. Right from listening to a Mother’s lullaby in our cradles(a feeling of security), to learning the national anthem( a feeling of reverence) or singing in a group as scouts (a feeling of joy) - music can speak directly to your heart. It speaks in a language that you don’t know, but your emotions understand. Having heard you over the last quarter of a century, I must admit the reason for being drawn again and again to you. It is because of the emotional content in your concerts. As you rightly said, it can be in the raga delineations, in the neraval and swaras and in the viruthams. And because we get that RASA in abundance through out the concert, there is peace, exhilaration and an emotional experience. This lingers on even after the stimulus has gone. The joy remains for days, months and years! A transient moment gives the rasika a permanent imprint. And one can keep ruminating over it for days. Technically, these memories drive the intrinsic oscillations of neurons in the brain! Be it Baktha ParAdhInu, Shyame Shankari or Aduthu vandha ennai neravals, the imagery is still in tact after years of listening. The endless list of RTP’s - be it Brindavana gana lola in Brindavanasaranga or Radhika Priya in Vasantha takes you to Vraj in seconds to unite you in that bliss of SriKrishna. The out pourings in viruttams such as Vizhikki thunai, vinnagi mannagi and naadum nagramum have left us with moist eyes time and again. In all these, the emotional content and connect did the magic. I could easily fill pages but these few do illustrate the power of your Music. Wishing you a great journey ahead and sure you will scale greater heights!
It is an amazing topic and discussion. I think, heart has its own place to express your emotions in the raga and lyrics, when you render, that reaches and touches the listener. When the vibrations of the vocals resonating in the same frequency reaches the the listeners, both will enjoy the feeling of singing or listening. For that matter, I think your own heart resonates to your own Vocals and brings out a fantastic Soulful performance to all of us :-) Please pardon my naive explanation on a very complex subject.
An amazing monday morning with RaGa candid episode. For a person like me who doesnt know the aspects of carnatic music i only connect to the music emotionally. What an wonderful explaination about rendering the music from initial objective level to an mastero level & being able to depict bhakti bhavam definitely needs Emotion. Though anyone understands intrinsic aspects music but they can connect with Emotion. Thanks for the amazing episode. Thanks Murthy
Another excellent Ra Ga candid by the dear sisters on a another Monday morning reminds us of how emotional we as rasikas become during every single concert of Ra Ga. Kudos to you sisters and God bless you.
It's a very challenging aspect to perform on stage, but when singing goes on emotion takes Ur music predominantly and that is very spl to hear with RA GA sisters after a point in concert we don't look into technical aspects but enjoy ur music and we sail with it 😊 that's the ultimate happiness we get
Mam (s), what a delightful soul stirring, yet a clear demonstration of technique fused and soaked in emotion in your renditions, so easily conveyed by yourselves to rasikas. Hats off to that Vidya Saraswati who resides in both your hearts. Thank you so much.
What a feel... This is todi. When i hear this, the sangati in UPPER GANDHARA, They sung, same like VOLETI VENKATESWARULU. Ra-Ga akkas sung like same VOLETI VENKATESWARULU. No words to say akkas...🙏😍
Superb episode. As you said i am very much interested in Carnatic music, but don't know much about ragas and thalas. Your concerts take place in my heart and I am used to listen daily. Your niraval"ethanayo piravi eduthu ilaithen is my most favourite.
Dear Ranjani & Gayatri, just listened to your Candid discussion on the Art of music, heart and emotions. When the music reaches the confluence of composition, truth and sound vibration then one cannot stop the त्रिवेणी - संगम of Ganga, Yamuna & Sarasvati flowing from the heart, mind and very आत्मन्! And perhaps what you meant by saying - one should keep oneself one - foot away from breaking down is being detached. For after all the Ultimate is to be free! Freedom at the highest level & this also includes the highest expression of Divinity that is நடத் பிரம்மா music! नमस्ते
WHAT YOU REFERRING HERE ABOUT THE MUSIC WHERE HEART PLAYS ROLE., I FELT THAT EFFECT WHEN YOU BOTH RENDER “ MANAME KANAMUM” . & i even get the feel rag KEDAR , when you begin this Kriti. ABSOLUTELY SOULFUL, WHEN I POST THE SAME ON FB , i write in caption that , i do not understand this but it touched my heart.
Thanks for raga candid. I do not know anything in carnatic music but I get peace and solace in your signing. It is true. Sometimes I become still. Thank god for the music I get through you. God bless you sisters.
Beautiful video...What did you do on a typical concert day in chennai and others abroad. ... Any special preparations... Also, how do you take care of your voice.. Do you have a fixed diet or any special medication... Pls do share your experience and valuable knowledge with us
Blessed to be even alive at this phase and time of evolution, where we could watch you perform, listen, soak in the emotions and leave as a person different from who entered! Thank you.
You have touched the burning issue in today’s classical music esp Carnatic. Without naming the musicians I can conclude that there are mathematical wizards in Carnatic without Bhava, the soul of music and there are artists focusing only on melody which borders on light /film music. Striking the balance is vital, which you have brought out. Don’t you think selection of Kritis and ragas do play a major part in being emotive?
Technical will changes according to generation but the ragas not While ragas link with each other, Whatever the feel of lyrics brings the beauty of song by both of u with carantic music it's so nice. Tq u RaGa candid
Excellent discussion of the intricacies of various aspects of music from the point of view of the musician(s) as well as that of the listener! I enjoyed the explanations you gave by singing some lines of selected songs as examples, about how the musicians convey emotions through music! Thoroughly enjoyed the discussion, and learnt a lot about what goes through the musicians' minds!
Excellent episode.Even if it is true that bhavam is inherent in a raga, it takes an X factor to bring a krithi to life emotionally. You never disappoint us in this regard.
Beautiful question and loved your talk on this subject ❤️ Do you think it’s tougher for instrumentalists to reach out to the audience’s sentiments than it is for vocalists? Because in the latter you have your own voice and emotions that can be conveyed more directly than through an instrument, or does an instrument do the job better?
Some singers experience the emotional aspect (bhava) while singing some bhajans/krithis whose lyrics touches ones heart, which are in karuna ras ragas and on most loving deities... Ones voice will not come out and they get tears of joy. As you rightly said one need to maintain little distance and maintain balance as one still need to sing many others... The way you diiferentiated the same lines can be sung with emotion and gamakas vs singing plain is soo nice...👏
Hello mam Greetings and Namaskaram Fantastically explained the way of touching the hearts by emotional singing mam. Superb waiting for the new thought of RaGa candid mam.
Naabhi hrut kanta rasana. Hrut or heartdefinitely involves in music, Due to vasana&talent&blessing of goddess kalaivani &hardworking a musician is sucessful. For any art to b successful that should b in fullform in the mind, but there is one inexplicable power is also definitely there.
Yet another heart touching episode.I feel no musician can become popular just by being technically sound. The emotions and the Bhavam definitely play a big role as you have so beautifully demonstrated.gem of an episode 👍♥️
Art comes from the heart ♥️..... Boundless boundaries... Simple sentences, but definitely not as simple as it sounds. And RaGa Akka's singing any Raga/piece, gives goosebumps, whether one understands it or not. Totally loved the Thodi. Personal favorite is this Raga. This week is going to be Thodi week. This is by far, one of the best episodes, Akka's. And thanks for the tip about the picnic spot ... 🙂🙂. P.S. .. totally loved the Tu Pyaar ka saagar line.
Such an enlightening session! We did get to know a lot more about your music in terms of the feeling part .To juggle notes within the set parameters and also move audiences with feel you are amazing. Also the demonstration you are doing to give us the distinction is just too good. Mondays have become very interesting now. Kudos to you both. Thanks a ton!
Thodiraga never sounded so good .we are fortunate to listen to your experiences every Monday .this was a beautiful episode .you make us wait for the next .monday .god bless you both with health and happiness .
So nicely put, both the Sisters!I wish you didn’t stop but for time sake , I can keep on listening to how well you both involve in explaining the ragas and Thalaas ! Please do it every day ,one day is not enough ,it looks like. But thank you again and until next Monday!😀! It has become like “Monday Madness “ 😀!!
Hi. With all permissible busy schedule today's EP - 16 attracts extra sensory power, the contents exemplified. Wishing you more and moremost episodes. Thank you both.
Madam , I am a great fan of your traditional carnatic music. I heard all what u said with rapt attention. I have been listening to the Greats like M.D.Ramanathan on the one hand, GNB, and also equally Manakkal Rangarajan. How emotions get linked with the grammar part of Carnatic? Generally, the question is not only confined to carnatic or for that matter the Indian traditional music both Hindusthani, and Carnatic , but pervades the entire aura of Music. To me what moves, is the quality of voice that matters most. Playing of words, gamaka, sanchara vary with singers, but if something apart from all these move the listeners, it is nothing but the richness of the voice. In fact, it is my hobby to listen to the same raag, same kirthan, same song, consecutively from GNB, MD Ramanathan, MS amma, Balamurali, Yesudoss and get involved in what they differ. They are qualitatively very good rather exceptional in grammar, richness in voice culture, but what moves me to be particular is the shrill in their voice. And possibly it is the voice that is not getting emotional itself , remains in tact with rules of grammar, but modules in such a way as to move the listeners. I do not know whether I have expressed myself clearly, but am heartened that you have touched a subject which my heart is attached to over the last 70 years or more. I am 80 and still getting along with knowing the nuances of what you said during the seventeen minutes of your conversation. Thank u so much. suryanarayanan siva .
Aren't pair of lungs involved when you do breath-control.. under the instructions of the brain (Both the memorized part and the present... must come in sync...). I also feel the involvement of heart is also a trained one, when we learn the *_Bhavam_* from our Gurus. I.e., emotional part when we sing a keerthanai on say Bhagwan _ShreeRam_.... The goosebumps are by the *_Bhavam_*. 🙏🙏🙏 Correct me if I am wrong.
Monday mornings are eagerly awaited to discover more about the RaGa magic. Come 8 AM and my eyes automatically scan the youtube notification that pops up, lighting up as the intro music to the RaGa candid session begins. Couple of questions have emerged in this curious mind of mine: Can you talk a bit about how being violinists helped in honing swara gnanam and in doing swara prastharam as vocalists? Because I find that learning an instrument definitely helps in gaining a good grip in swaras. Can you also tell us a bit more about RaGa as rasikas? Was there any Vidwan's style of singing/presentation which has influenced your music?
every episode makes us a better rasika. May not be technically, but aesthetically. I got hooked to carnatic music 50 years ago. yes there were ahas and ohos all the times but the same songs feels fresh, showing glittering diamonds here and there. Candid gave this to us. Thank u so much
Lovely episode! Could you do an episode only on neraval and Korvais? How do aspiring students construct a korvai ? What goes into exploring the nuances of a neraval ? Thank you in advance. Have a wonderful week ahead :)
My father often reminds me that singing with Bhavam and getting to that boundlessly bound state is extremely important. Thank you for reminding me about that! But I have a question about the element of emotions and music (that you mentioned in the episode). How do you stay a step away from getting carried away by a particular song? When the emotion of a song washes over you, what do you do? ❤❤❤😘
Oh my god.. What a beautiful articulation and how could you always make the difficult subject understand with such an ease. It is a technique and you have mastered that skill .. This episode is a mini PhD article for me as I am a research scholar working at ISRO and when you spoke so many scientific words like velocity , it is like Mangalyaan success mission 😀 All the best to you both for many more such successful projects.
Amazing... Love you ☺❤ I have a question.. You both have has the fortune of being exposed to both hindustani and carnatic.. Can you pls talk to us about hindustani music, the differences between the two etc so that we also get a taste of it.. Thank you
Such a beautiful explanation of the technical aspects, especially the kalpana swaras. Love this episode. I remember Ranjani's eyes filled with love and tears when Gayathri sang the virutham and naan oru vilayattu in the MMU episode years ago. Wonderful to listen to today's episode
Thank you for yr wonderful episode sis. I have a silly question to ask you. Though i practice some of the songs regularly, I will be forgetting some lines or got struck in the middle say a word or 2. So i will be very conscious while singing thinking of next line or word. In the middle of my singing i will be afraid if i am going to miss.so i cant concentrate on the emotion part and it is lagging. My mom will say go into the song and enjoy it. Pls advice me or guide me how to do it. Is it possible to sing with emotion without knowing the language or the meaning of the song. These are the 2 questions i want to ask you. Thank you akkas.🙏
Tu pyar ka sagar hai with such beautiful lyrics has been sung so beautifully by Manna Dey...dear Akkas...you have no right to either belittle the song or the singer...
It was not belittling the song or the singer; everyone knows that the actor is not himself/herself singing while enacting; but, the flowing of tears and the facial contortions that the plot calls for misleads the audience into thinking that you can burst into a forlorn song when you're feeling overpowered by emotion, while actually, it's so difficult to sing when you're emotionally swamped or choked is what they were saying. Singers of Ranjani-Gayatri's calibre are not going to be petty to ridicule any other singer, leave alone Manna Deyji!
There wasn't any need for them to bring this song into the discussion at all...it would have been better if they restricted the discussion to their music...
And the expression on the face of Ranjini Akka simply wasn't right as if ridiculing the song & singer...when they don't playback for Hindi movies, why bring it into the discussion at all...it was so poor in taste...
The heart that pumps the heart , is different from the Hridhayam that is located on the right side of your chest, where you point out your fingers when you say Naan . To know more about this please read the sayings of Sri Ramana Bhaghawan . Don’t you feel that your discussion if in Tamil , will be more enjoyable ? Or is it that you want to reach more younger generation ? Your lyric is in Tamil , where in the explanation is in English. Better give subtitles in English to reach those who can’t understand Tamil . This is not a criticism, just my personal opinion .
Aren't pair of lungs involved when you do breath-control.. under the instructions of the brain (Both the memorized part and the present... must come in sync...).
Thanks
Murthy
Beautiful explanations ! Love the way you put these very simply across !❤️
Thulli vilayadum neraval -amazing with arumayana bhaavam -.RaGas.
Thanks for sharing the intensity of ragam.
नमस्ते
WHAT YOU REFERRING HERE ABOUT THE MUSIC WHERE HEART PLAYS ROLE.,
I FELT THAT EFFECT WHEN YOU BOTH RENDER “ MANAME KANAMUM” .
& i even get the feel rag KEDAR , when you begin this Kriti.
ABSOLUTELY SOULFUL,
WHEN I POST THE SAME ON FB , i write in caption that , i do not understand this but it touched my heart.
RaGa Akkas that Todi, goosebumps 😍😍❤️❤️🙏
Technical will changes according to generation but the ragas not
While ragas link with each other,
Whatever the feel of lyrics brings the beauty of song by both of u with carantic music it's so nice.
Beautiful question and loved your talk on this subject ❤️
Do you think it’s tougher for instrumentalists to reach out to the audience’s sentiments than it is for vocalists? Because in the latter you have your own voice and emotions that can be conveyed more directly than through an instrument, or does an instrument do the job better?
Some singers experience the emotional aspect (bhava) while singing some bhajans/krithis whose lyrics touches ones heart, which are in karuna ras ragas and on most loving deities... Ones voice will not come out and they get tears of joy. As you rightly said one need to maintain little distance and maintain balance as one still need to sing many others... The way you diiferentiated the same lines can be sung with emotion and gamakas vs singing plain is soo nice...👏
Hello mam
Greetings and Namaskaram
Fantastically explained the way of touching the hearts by emotional singing mam. Superb waiting for the new thought of RaGa candid mam.
Naabhi hrut kanta rasana.
Hrut or heartdefinitely involves in music, Due to vasana&talent&blessing of goddess kalaivani &hardworking a musician is sucessful. For any art
to b successful that should b in fullform in the mind, but there is one inexplicable power is also definitely there.
Very emotional and manobhavam experience of your music regarding all the aspects of music. Thank you so much RaGa mam👌🙏🙏
Whatta thodi. How well you explain! You endear yourself more and more with every episode
Best episode ! Salute you sisters for the wonderful insight !
Waiting for this from the morning - Me From Sydney- Thank You
Super and very useful information thnx to RAGA candid
Beautifully handled the most toughest concept Madam, thank you somuch.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Everytime I listen to you I get chills. Getting chills already 😍🙏
Wonderful! Waiting for this episode focused on manodharma. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏
Singing a raga after hearing the concert is sheer impact but sometimes it's so spontaneous and enthralling
Beautifully expressed and it touched our hearts every bit💜
Monday mornings are eagerly awaited to discover more about the RaGa magic. Come 8 AM and my eyes automatically scan the youtube notification that pops up, lighting up as the intro music to the RaGa candid session begins.
Couple of questions have emerged in this curious mind of mine:
Can you talk a bit about how being violinists helped in honing swara gnanam and in doing swara prastharam as vocalists? Because I find that learning an instrument definitely helps in gaining a good grip in swaras.
Can you also tell us a bit more about RaGa as rasikas? Was there any Vidwan's style of singing/presentation which has influenced your music?
Anyway the mention about thu pyar ka sagar hai was not necessary.that is my all time favorite .great music and great singer.
Great amma. Very much melodious sangeetham. Take care
After listening to emotive music. from " ayyo thodi raga" became "" oh! Thodi raga""
Excellent episode no words to say....
every episode makes us a better rasika. May not be technically, but aesthetically. I got hooked to carnatic music 50 years ago. yes there were ahas and ohos all the times but the same songs feels fresh, showing glittering diamonds here and there. Candid gave this to us. Thank u so much
Excellent RaGa sisters 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Kindly do an episode about how to maintain your voice..
Thanks for yet another beautiful Candid episode
Love the discussion point about getting emotional themselves while singing
Wonderful episode mam.very helpful.thank you mam.
Extremely good episode
Lovely episode!
Could you do an episode only on neraval and Korvais? How do aspiring students construct a korvai ? What goes into exploring the nuances of a neraval ?
Thank you in advance. Have a wonderful week ahead :)
This is so true... Especially for us, music students
Very nice episode...In your next episode can you please talk about how students can practise manodharma..
Super dialog!
Ya sisters the spiritual connection of music is more than an intelligence
I also understand that *creativity* plays a big role for the goosebumps.... but being in the standards of the framework...
I really wonder how much practice is required to reach this level
What role does Gamakas play in Carnatic Music?
My father often reminds me that singing with Bhavam and getting to that boundlessly bound state is extremely important. Thank you for reminding me about that! But I have a question about the element of emotions and music (that you mentioned in the episode). How do you stay a step away from getting carried away by a particular song? When the emotion of a song washes over you, what do you do? ❤❤❤😘
This was an exhilarating session ma’am.
Even I'm not trained in music some times I sing sahana very spontaneously I myself astounding how it comes without knowing syllable
Awesome 👌👌
Amazing... Love you ☺❤
I have a question.. You both have has the fortune of being exposed to both hindustani and carnatic.. Can you pls talk to us about hindustani music, the differences between the two etc so that we also get a taste of it.. Thank you
Nice topic and well explained
Dear Ranjani and Gayatri,
Today is my birthday, so thanks for uploading!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
UUUUUUge fan ❤️
Do you know Abby V?
