Just bought the HRC 216 today for that very reason. I love my None commercial 217 Honda but it is 9 years old and the HRC will last forever when they stop making them.
Ive got a 2016 Hrx residential. It still runs fine but leaks oil. Im thinking of buying the Honda HRC and storing it in the box until my Hrx dies. Don't really want to spend $1400 for something to sit in a box for awhile.
@@gmoneycash7456 I hear you. My HRX217 runs great yet so I think I will sell it and hope the HRC216 lasts until battery technology is as good or better than the current gas technology.
My brother has one of these and my issues are not with cut quality, ease of use, reliability or repair. But the issue is that it cannot handle tall grass and does not have side discharge option (built in). That’s not enough to dislike it, but I would not want one in my shed.
We used to put a stick at the back keep the lid open because it had no side diacharge. Not ideal. I've used many brands and nothing cuts tall grass great. The Honda's wheel height options is the best , tall grass was cut at 7/7
Big bro can you get your advice🙏🇺🇸? I want to start my mowing company here in Texas Boerne ( close to San Antonio) I want to go and buy - sz kubota 36 ,blower back pack , Weedwhacker, & 7x12 trailer .but I don’t know if I should go buy now at this point on time or should I wait until the beginning of the next year to buy the equipment and start promoting my little business? I believe in The lord Jesus! Please give me guidance I don’t have any experience at all….. That’s why I come to you for some wisdom?
Why don't you get a self propelled mower and get a helper and have him mow it and you weed it or hire a couple guyies to do smaller lawns and you do bigger ones and keep the dollars rolling in
I love hrc216
The HRC 216 is the best commercial mower on the market...its a shame they will stop making them next year.

Why in the world will Honda discontinue such a great product?..
I heard through my dealer that they. Won’t pass emission’s and I got one for free

I have the Honda hrx 217hya lawn mower that has the hydrostatic transmission. I agree.

Just do it. Asap
Go see Rc at master mowers and get a walker mower bro better than a reel mow almost
You mentioned in this video that your yard is HUGE. Why are you push mowing it if your foot is so bad?
Because at the height I cut it at, it only looks good with the Honda. The foot is all healed up and fine now.
@@GwinnettLawns OK good news!

I had that mower that I just sold in the video. Finding guys to work is a nighmare around here. Push mow time to money ratio is terrible anyway.
Get a helper? Said by someone who has never tried to hire a helper.
Yeah unfortunately nobody wants anything to do with manual labor. The kids now want to tiktok their lives away and make millions on UA-cam videos.
