As with others, watching this (again, I presume) in May, 2024, and simply smiling at how much has been built and accomplished in such a short time. And, of course, how much you have documented in all that time--for which I and many others are profoundly grateful. If you were able to edit some time-lapse equivalents--even at only 6 month intervals--it would be fascinating viewing. Thank you, RGV.
Boca Chica went from this, to the worlds most productive rocket construction and launch site in history in just 2 years. This is history right here folks, SpaceX is in completely uncharted territory and they’re getting even more daring by the day. What a time to be alive.
Should take this and put it next to a current fly by to show how much of a difference side by side. Would love to see that video. I would imagine others would love it too. Love the channel, keep up the great work!
Doing a Before/After from Jan to now would be really cool. Maybe consider showing the progress side by side or maybe in stages? It's quite amazing to see the work being done in only 6 months.
2 year ago ... progress is insane at SpaceX .... what are the things SpaceX could have done in the last 24 months that would have improved progress even more?
Great, great views of this most interesting object! Thanks! Helps to comprehend the bare-bones nature of this test facility. But raises a question: Elon is very aware of sea levels rising - so why build a site that looks about 6 inches above sea level?
@@RGVAerialPhotography Fantastic flying. Thanks. Were both of the videos the same time? I am thinking of putting them into some drone surveying software and see what has changed but if it is the same time, it will take hours and hours to show nothing changed.
Eugene Jr. Folse yes both videos were taken at the same time. I’ll be out there again in a couple of weeks again. There will be significant change by the launch pad area by then.
!!! Watching this in May 2024, and wow! The difference in 5 years is mind-blowing.
Holy crap! This just popped as suggested videos, what a difference in 5 years.
Crazy how far they've gotten in just 4 years.
I cannot believe how far they have come in such a short time. I am glad it is all being recorded for posterity.
Progress is equally impressive another year after that. Let's meet back in 2022 ;-)
@@olegil2 it's even crazier!
Even crazier now

Insane to see how small it was.
omg so cute and wittle back then :).
You should see how it is now.
@@izzad777 you don't think I do? :P
@@izzad777 you should also see how it is now :D
Coming back here after the SN10 Launch
here before IFT-4.
Watching this in October of 2022 is really trippy. Wish I could fast forward another 3 years. It's going to be wild.
Like baby fotos: "ahw wook! Dew is widdol stawship" Boca, my you've grown!
the amount of progress in 2 years... imagine what it will look like in 2 more
Here we are!

Hard to believe that that footage was taken only 26 months ago!
W O W . . . It sure has come a Long Way...!! 😱🤭✅
What a difference a year makes.
Thank you for that amazing perspective! I can't wait to see the hopper start testing.
Good job! Best view yet of launch pad area!
3 years ago... astonishing

This video popped up in my feed, it's insane how different it am ways just 5 years ago.
Cool to see this a year later!

That brings back good memories! Thanks

And you guys thought things had changed a lot a year ago 😎
Wow that’s different
3 Years ago. time (flies) in starbase
2 year ago ... progress is insane at SpaceX .... what are the things SpaceX could have done in the last 24 months that would have improved progress even more?
Watching this 2 years later. SN8 just did it's belly flop and (almost) landed and SN9 fell over in the high bay. I'll be back in 2 years.
See ya soon mate
29th January 2023, Orbital Test Flight maybe in the next month? I've been watching since this video was made.
It basically looks the same in 2021... 😱
Wow...
They've finally stacked the nosecone! Is this one still going to orbit? Launch pad doesn't look ready yet
innovation and speed

I thought the same thing until I visited the site. Many of the dunes in the area are 15ft tall. They are building quite high.
That rocket kind of looks like the Raygun Gothic art installation from Burning Man.
Oh boy...
The Boca Chica village will be reorganized into Starbase Spaceport

Phantom 4 at 400 feet? Orbit mode?
Eugene Jr. Folse I used a phantom 4 pro V 2 , orbit at 400 ft

Almost an empty lot back then, and now...
