Works great, thank you again. I notice a few people in the comments had an issue where their A.I. wouldn't die, and I had the same issue until i realised I had accidentally connected the exec function from destroy actor to apply damage. It should of course be from Branch/True straight to apply damage.
So I followed this tutorial, however when I shoot the enemy, the enemy doesn't do any damage. I made sure that everything matched correctly, and it still doesn't work.
Thank you Matt, What about if enemy shoots the player then player dies or damage. How is it going to be. Is it to be like same in codes . is it different ?
To give the AI a death animation and delayed death Just simply after the true of the " get sound at location " just do > Play animation montage > delay ( of how long you want the AI to be there ) . Destroy actor
If enemy isn't taking damage try opening your bulletBP or projectileBP and changing collision in the details on the right from 'no collision' to 'projectile'
Thank you !! Thank you !! Thank you !! Thank you !! Thank you !! soooo much Sir. I have been stuck on something for days and this gave me a solution. Casting S#*t this is Gold.
Great work mate, however for my application this only works to a point. I am trying to implement zombies into the lyra game template unfortunately there's NOTHING out there at the moment, maybe you can look into putting something together.

blueprints functions work the same way as Unreal Engine 4 so another words buy me watching tutorials for ue4 will they work in unreal engine 5 please reply
Same for me. My issue was I had accidentally connected the exec function from destroy actor to apply damage. It should of course be from Branch/True straight to apply damage. I don't think the sound should affect anything.

Did it exactly how it is (without the sounds) and no damage is done to the enemies at all.
