There’s actually a DLC Mississippi map where you can hunt alligators! You can play on it for free if you go to multiplayer.

In the "Confirm Trophy" screen you can also "inspect" the bullets impact vector. That way you can learn where the organs are relative to your perspective.
Yeah, a right click on the shot will display x-ray and bullet path

Jack, the first call - the one you didn't think was real, is meant to imitate a dying or wounded rabbit. Used for coyotes and other predators. :)
I did not know that a dying rabbit can make such sounds. Interesting.

it really does turn into a horror game when you’re trying to bow hunt lions in tall grass then the wind direction changes all of the sudden

This was epic, and way more entertaining than I was expecting! As someone who has grown up around hunting and knew what a lot of the items were, it made it even more hilarious seeing Jack trying to figure out what they were lol thanks as always for making me awkwardly laugh out loud in public.
This was so unexpected, but damn, i can watch Jack play this for hours. I am currently rewatching with a friend who's a hunter.
I haven't played this in a while but once you get into it and better understand the mechanics, you get REALLY into it. Surprising amount of depth and hunting for diamonds, rare fur types, antlers and ultra rare "Great One's" is good fun
So glad to see you playing some other games and especially this game! It's such a nice time to jump on The Hunter and just chill out for a few hours. Love it!
I played this when it came out and spent probably 5 hours tracking one rare deer. I lost myself in that world for weeks 😂 its fun with friends too.

My friends and I accidentally found this game a few years back after searching for Hunt Showdown and we absolutely love it. The ATV makes the traveling and exploring a ton more fun too.

Probably not. The hunter is actually a really fun game. IVe put countless hours in it. You will only like it if you like the concept of hunting but if you do like hunting you will more than likely really like this game

This game is made so amazingly good. It will get alot better once you level up and unlock better weapons and scopes. Would love to see you play more of this one.

yes for today it really immersive, sounds are impressive with the rainy weather etc and im now playing it with my Tobii Eye Tracking immersion on an ultrawide screen and is really impressive then !!
Finally! Been waiting for you to play this. There is so much depth, so you will have to invest a bit of time. Lots of fun to play with friends. Going for the rare animals, is a real challenge.

There is a decent amount to learn with this game. You aren't getting your full trophy scores because you're missing vital organs or using improper ammo. I recommend digging around in the inventory menu and harvest screen, so you can learn about class systems for game, ammo types, and harvest checks! :)
I started playing this about a month ago and was genuinely shocked how good it is compared to most other fps games

I know right? it has insane attention to detail and the animal's AI is so well done, best example is, if a pack of wolves attack you, they surround you and attack from all sides and if you kill the Alplha first, the pack might run away, sometimes their pathfinding breaks but overall this is the best hunting game ever made, so far

This game is incredibly addicting once you learn everything and how things work. I recommend watching beginners guides so you learn the basics as this game is very realistic. I hope you continue this as a series, I enjoyed watching this!

Love this game, definitely need to use the inspect mode when u confirm a kill to see where the shot went, aswell there's different guns and ammo for different animals

Patience is key, and the senses of the animals is incredible so they can hear very small noises and see far, it varies from species to species though.

This game is such a blast. Incredible maps, incredible animals and guns. A monetization system that really let's you pick and choose and commit just what you want at certain times. I like that I don't have to buy big dlc packs that hold stuff I don't even enjoy.
Been playing this game since 2018, been alot of fun, and would recommend for people who want a good quality of hunting simulation game!
I wish someone would make a hunting game like this but put in survival aspects into it too.

the forest is a really good game for that. there is a scary mod and a peaceful mode
Yeah man i was just saying this how like sure, long dark, dayz, scum all HAVE hunting but those are survival games. It would be good to have a legit hunting game like this but with just a few more survival aspects. Build a camp, cook your kills for dinner, buils a cabin, build outposts, more predators, etc

This game can be tough at first but once you learn animals drink, eat and sleep times it becomes very easy. Easily one of the top fps shooting games. Still updated regularly
As a hunter this was the most horrific and best thing I’ve ever seen. This did exactly what it would look like if a brand new hunter was dropped in a game rich environment with absolutely no rules! 😂

First played this game in a free trial in 2017 and couldn’t find a single animal in half an hour. Decided it was terrible and uninstalled. 6 years later it’s one of my favourite games of all time 😂 there’s so much depth to it, you really do get immersed.
Rarely have I been so stressed watching someone play a, usually, relaxing game.

A predator call is mistaken for a turkey call and the bison are hunted with a caliber intended for deer and pronhorns 😅

It's funny to see this game on your channel, I have a suggestion for you. Play the Cuatro Colinas map is good for starters because it has a lot of medium sized game, like deers, a lot of deers. And there is quite a lot of open fields so it's easy to spot stuff.

Started playing a short while a go, the missions were quickly getting advanced. So was I. As my trophy lodge filled out and my loyal pupper levelled up, I soon realised. I was hungry. Hungry for more. Good game.

How do you play in a group without scaring animals ? Do you all sneak together ? Or spread out into singles or groups?
@kriskater we usually hunt in a group. We will find the animals in the herds and each pick one out to shoot. Or sometimes a couple of us spot and the others shoot. Or we will spread out. It's a blast though in a group. What system you playing on

There is bullet drop, but the sights/scopes on your guns are also zeroed for a certain distance (I think its 150m for the scope on the rifle). That means that if an animal is closer than 150m your bullet will actually hit slightly higher than where you're aiming.
Would be cool if you could change the zero on the sights lol
@@craig2196 You can once you get the zeroing perk when you acquire enough points.

You can try every map in multiplayer and buy the ones ya like afterwards. Especially on a sale they are very cheap! I have like 1k hours in this game and I’ve never been hunting irl. Love this game tho! Also take the time to learn which weapon class is for which game animal class. It’s overwhelming at the start but becomes quite easy. Great vid Jack!

Way of the hunter on ps5 is really good. It’s made on the unreal engine. Not as much content as this game currently, but the attention to detail is truly amazing in way of the hunter.
