I am 'JACKED UP" about this project because I have to do the same for my Gheenoe LT-25 inside deck. And seeing you do it have inspired me for this project I have been dreading. As I have learned from you doing it, "you slow danced through it to make it right". Thank you brother for showing us the step by step process to get this done!
Awesome bro! Let me know how it goes or if you have any questions
"No mo' shlipping while weeze Shrimppin" Love it!!
That’s right!!! Thanks for watching!
Completely baller video! Now I am finally ready to pull the trigger on the paint portion of my boat rebuild. I think you covered all of the bases brother!!! Thanks!!
Awesome! Thx
26:26 super 👍
Thanks!
Nice job!!
🙏 thanks
Great video- makes me want to buy a project boat for inshore... Peace
Yeah, I have like 3 projects going on at the same time. Crazy !
Bill, awesome videos for boat owners looking to learn. I'll be thinking about you during this storm stay safe. Florida is looking better each day. The people in PA elected fetterman he's more lost than biden.
Thanks buddy! The storm has been pretty mild. Media pumps everything up so much now the whole state panics when a tropics storm comes. Crazy, but now you just never know if it’s gonna be bad or just rain and wind. Sorry to hear that about your election. Hoping for change in 2024 for sure!!!
@@JackedUpFishing glad to hear that. I understand that's a shame. If you're bored and want a laugh look up fetterman on UA-cam lol.
Nice
Thanks
Hey! Love your videos I’m redoing my first boat project in Port Orange. Where do you recommend for a knowledgeable supply place for good product?? Thanks so much, hope to connect on the water sometime!!
The only places here locally are Bens Paint Supply. But they really do not offer any advice unfortunately.
What kind of sand do you use for this application? And where can I find some? thanks!
I buy real fine sand at the local fiberglass supply place.
Mek or mekp for the gelcoat? You said mek? Also do you bilge coat the livewell? Just curious I'm about to do my boats deck soon.
Yes mekp. The livewell I used colored gelcoat. But I didn’t redo that since it was still nice. I mixed a little blue in the gelcoat ti give it a light blue color
When are we going to get some bay craft videos?
They are coming. Waiting on lots and lots of fiberglass materials.
Did u do one coat gel cover the sand without wax, and then one with wax?
Yes sir
@@JackedUpFishing on ur second coat after sand do you apply that pretty thin as well?
@@user-km3zc6lw8p yes it’s just for the wax to create the egg shell coating and let it cure totally hard. Without the wax it will always be tacky
@@JackedUpFishing nice, thanks. I’m working on mine today. Hope turns out nice like that!
@@user-km3zc6lw8p awesome good luck 👍

You the man! LOL Starting to rig the boat this week! thank God!
