I really like both of them ! great idea to take the Marquis for some outdoor space too.
Not convinced I'd fit though - I'm 6ft. I might need a LWB version.
Definitely worth it for the extra space, and we was very grateful for them with the weather we got. Watch this space 👀

We started out on the popular VW Caddy however, that little berlingo has been as good if not better in so many ways. Thanks for your support.
great work and this year i am after buying a caddy to make it a micro camper, i am a hgv tech and have access to the workshop at weekends/ evenings and your videos have so great tips and info on making a caddy a great micro camper👌

I have camped in a Citroen 2CV. The passenger & back seats lift out easily. With some easily made boards over the spare tyre and the passenger footwell there is room for one adult & a german shepherd dog Why not try it (without the dog)?

Great jobs on both vans! I’ve had my Berlingo for nearly 7 years now and thinking about turning it into a mini camper. Can you share roughly how much all the materials cost to do this?
The price can vary so much, depending on so many things. Material, labour and extra thing your personaly think you might want or need can bump up the price. We will cover costs in a future video. Merry Christmas

what will the next van that you will be turning into a camper van
We have lots of projects planned for next few weeks. The next camper will likely be a Volkswagen Caddy Maxi which we have given a few sneak peaks off in some previous videos.
Great vans boys. How are the vans insured? As a camper conversion? Part conversion? Does not having a toilet or cooking facilities lower the insurance? Like your set up and now subscribed. Best wishes to you both.
Hi John, our current set up is just insured as a van I’m not saying that’s the right or wrong way and I think it’s completely upto you how to insure your vehicle. But for us the amount we have spent for the conversion doesn’t warrant a higher insurance if that makes sense?. I think if I were to be spending more on the conversion I would definitely insure it as a campervan not just a van. Personal preference I suppose 👍👍, thanks for the comment 👍

Don't think we have answered that, the frame is built using just 2x1 timber, the slats are 4x1. They are surprisingly strong but also makes it lightweight too.
They look great but im only 5f 9" and there's no way i could fit in the back of a caddy
You'd be surprised as I stayed in the Caddy was very comfortable and I'm 5'10.

Thanks, we got the foam from a company called Foam2Home made to order size and order upholstery from ebay. My mother then did the rest.

Which van has more space?
They are both very similar in length in terms of the bed, however the caddy is slightly wider because of being able to build over the wheel arches.
Why the music whilst trying to talk ?
We are still very new to UA-cam and we are currently using just an iPhone to record and edit all our videos. We promise to get better and we are looking at investing in to better equipment.
