Realme 6 pro (250$) vs iPhone SE (400$). It would be an interesting comparison since Realme 6 pro offers Ultrawide and telephoto which is a stark contrast to SE's single camera setup. Competition these days is crazy good and it's always good for the customers. iPhone SE is an excellent phone for the price but it lacks a bigger battery and night mode which is a bummer. Even with bigger price like A71 I'm not sure there is a huge difference. I tried them at the store and both cameras looked bad 😕

Good comparison, although I'm pretty sure the Galaxy A51 is selling for much less than $399 right now. More like $280-$300. In fact the Galaxy S10e 128GB can now be found for $450-ish on Amazon.

Galaxy A51 is nowhere near $400. Yes it retailed for that price in December 2019 but it can be found for $275 in the US or even less depending where you look. The larger these youtube channels get, the less informational and accurate they seem to be.

Pro Tip: There is a dedicated button on A51 when you are in video mode. That button is located on the top and it is for stability. It works amazing and the difference is huge compared to the normal video mode.

I think you should compare this with A71 instead. Because A51 is less than $400.

It depends on where you live but you can definitely can find it for less than 400. But the retail price on Samsung's website for the A51 is 399.99 so if we are basing on the retail price it is the same price. The A71's retail price when it launched was 419 euros or 550 USD.

The 4K video stabilization is such a major feature that it would be a deal breaker for me if a phone didn't have it. Other than that, I'd say the images are a toss up.
But then again social media compresses videos and photos on android way too much which makes them low quality. But it doesn’t really affect iPhones soo I’ll go with the SE

You get what you pay for. I own both Android and iPhone. I use Android only because it was heavily discounted by Verizon. I used my own money to pay for iPhone from TMO and use Apple CarPlay in my car. Android car play is buggy and a complete disaster. I only used it once and that was enough for me. The iPhone overall integration is better with all my others corporate apps from work.

The iphone se on the other hand with the same amount of base storage costs around 600 euros. Nothing about the se justifies a price difference from 350 euros especially not with that poor battery life and outdated design

Nice video you made . I bought my A51 dual which has 4 GB Ram and 128 internal storage plus a memory card slot $300 early February in my country ( Cameroon) and I much appreciate what the phone does.
i'll go with the Galaxy A51 because it's cheaper than the iPhone SE and versatile with 4 cameras for the video i don't take that much videos but i'll have different modes like the night shots and the macro shots ...etc

I would give this round for Apple in terms of camera. This lady is the only one I trust in CNET for reviews and comparison. Definitely she's not in the Apple cult like the others.
Samsung should stop adding cameras to their phone every year ! and focus on other important things.
That is the android market if they want to stay relevant. You are literally going to be the person to say... but one plus, xiaomi, LG, redmi is giving us more camera. You can never win with people like you. Apple can get away with being stagnant and give you the same old phone from 2016 with a new chip and make billions from it. Android manufacturers are in a fierce competition.

I'm no apple guy and I always prefer android for flexibility and functionality, but I always liked how apple's software renders better photos with inferior hardware than android with better hardware and so much enhancements that make photos look bad

From the very beginning, I noticed that the SE has better quality than the A51. It's ironic that the iPhone has only 1 camera, yet the Galaxy has 4, and the iPhone still wins.
And that's coming from an Android user for 6 years. I plan to switch to the X because of better battery life and camera.

hellknight101 iPhones do not have better battery life 🤨. Maybe the newer ones do but not the older ones 😬 and tbh the a51 camera looked better. More vivid and pretty colors. The iPhone photos and videos looked washed out and basic.
I mean, if you want innovation, customization, expandable memory, headphone jack, durability, and more bang for your buck I'd say stick with Samsung or OnePlus+ I heard they have some good products too or if you want to fit in with the huge mainstream and simplistic ecosystem of Apple then go for it Apple isn't bad I appreciate the security and such but everything on it doesn't "wow" me and the battery life and non expandable memory makes me want to Gag. Samsung or Android in general has always been friendly and budget friendly to their consumers.
The iPhone SE would have been an amazing buy if it had good battery life but unfortunately, the battery inside is tiny.
I hope you can test the other aspects of these phones besides camera, maybe in next video. Good video nonetheless

Really it comes down to personal preferance.I like photos that come out of A51 but the videos are waay better on the iphone.

The only problem with the A51 or any android phone is when you want to upgrade the trade in or sell value depreciations dramatically from like 500 all the way down to 150-200. So if you think about it in the long term then it depends wish there was a android phone that would keep it's value over time a bit better.

Good comparison..I have the iPhone SE 2020 and I think it’s a great deal for the price. I also think that the the size is also a key feature between the phones. The iPhone being compact, is a plus.
The battery life, in my opinion, is the one thing against the iPhone. Otherwise a great all around phone.

Galaxy A51 has more vivid colors, more camera modes, many settings to adjust (more customizable), also it has pro mode, wich is pretty good for some kind of different photo, and if want, I can use gcam
Galaxy A71 would be a much fairer comparison with IPhone SE since A71 costs around $400.
I have no preference what os to use. But the iPhone specially in video was hands down much better. Pictures also slightly.

In EU A51 costs almost 2 times less,then SE. Infact, in Russia it costs 2.3 times less. Does in US it cost 400$ and more, really? You can buy S10 in EU for the price of SE (~500€).

In Canada with our peso the A51 is a lot cheaper almost or more 150 dollars after tax added depending what province you live in. A71 is the same price and a better phone.
A51 has versitile camera, but for hdr in front and raer photos, portrait, se is way better and for video recording A51 is no match its not even close ,

The battery drains at 4 hours and charges for 2 hours and also have 720p resolution 🤣

In my country (Russia) iPhone SE 64gb is exactly 2 times more expensive than 128 gb Samsung Galaxy a51. And I know that in many other countries the situation is similar. So the comparison is not fair. Moreover the a51 is a phablet by size. If a person would choose between iPhone SE 2020 and similarly priced compact Android phone the only rival is Samsung Galaxy s10e. And I’m sure that s10e would win by every standard.

0:17 seconds in look on the sides of the video screen and look how they are shaking the camera or picture to make it look more choppy and less consistent then compare that to the video clip they show right after on the iphone SE they aren't shaking it at all.
5:23 They do the same thing here they jolt the camera to make it look worse (seemingly). Although I still from what I can tell, notice a Difference in the smoothness as she is right the SE looks smoother. But they still made it look worse imo.
SE’s camera might improve more with updates down the road since apple is known to support their devices longer than android

Software is comparable for now, but the vastly superior chip set on the iPhone (which is the same as the 11, 11 pro and 11 pro max)means that it will get more than 4 years of IOS updates whereas the Samsung will get 1 or 2. Hope that helps 👍

A71 is currently less than $400 on amazon and that one is way better than the A51 and Kills the iphone SE 2020
That whole video is why I'm switchin to the iPhone SE after year 5 years on a Samsung (and before that, only Android). Yes you get bigger and better screens on Android phones, but you basically can't beat the photo processing of Apple (also wireless charging and other services) at that pricepoint. Even when the camera says X Megapixels more than the iPhone one, you realize the numbers don't matter if there's no stabilizer, average hdr implementation, or weird color balancing.
I'm even sacrificing screen size since my Galaxy A5 but since I'm not spending most of my day watchin videos on my phone, I don't think it's that terrible (unless you have giant hands)
I think I disagree with you on some parts. Google's photo processing is vastly better and apple only beats android in software updates, video, and ecosystem but honestly it hasn't been shown to beat it in anything else. Performance is a 50 50 becuase we beat the iPhone in antutu

Honestly i have the se so i feel its a little bias but the se is better but it does cost more the cams tho i think there both great its just the se only has one cam and the galaxy has many cams so the galaxy has the better cams just normal pics tho like no zoom or anything i think the se but overall the iphone unless you really want the blur or zoom then the galaxy
