According to Wikipedia: "Violin Concerto No.8 (orchestrated by Jacques Ysaÿe)". It is not a violin concerto proper. It is more a Reverie for Violin and Orchestra, almost a tone poem or long orchestral interludes in an opera. The interest is the composition itself, not the solo part. Very interesting indeed.
It's a new album from Breuninger. There are other violinists like Sherban Lupu and Ivanov that recorded some Ysaÿe violin concertos. It's a pretty new thing, except the violin concerto in E minor, that was recorded in 2018 I think. The violin concerto that hasn't been found completely on this channel is the E minor violin concerto, it's the first movement only. There isn't sheet music available of the concertos either I think, just some snippets from a violin concerto in E major, which the recording I haven't found already. --> s9.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/3/31/IMSLP107283-PMLP218447-EYsaye_Violin_Concerto_in_E_major_sketches_first_finale.pdf It wasn't that difficult to find the concertos, there was an article written about the album by Sherban Lupu so I found it on the internet (also available in apple music I think), but it wasn't that popular so I reuploaded it on youtube. The concerto in E minor was already on youtube. The album by Breuninger was also on the internet (not on youtube I think).
This time, with a little bit more information in the description :)
great that these are getting rediscovered
This recording is actually from 1996! The album was released in 2006.
The first that slow Concerto I've ever heard
I love it❤

Yes that's true! But Ysaÿe named it a violin concerto so so did I. It is true because there is no sonata form I think. I'm not sure.
Ima cry rn. is there any ysaye recovered concertos? Edit: bro your literally goat.. how you find these recordings?

This is the most boring and underwhelming concerto I have ever heard.
Every concerto shouldn't be fiery or fast. sometimes you should listen to chill
@@lumityyknn3 I didn't say that it should be fiery or fast. I said that it is boring.
I think it's interesting. It made me keep listening to it.
@@pneron2032 dont think it is an good concerto, i was expecting way more from ysaye, since his other concertos are way much better In my opnion
