Wow. This is truly incredible. I'm in love with these Ysaye Concertos, and I was on my way to notate the solo violin part by itself from the E minor concerto, when I see you uploaded this one as well. Really just wonderful.
Thank you for the upoad! It is very intense, passionate and real violinistic music! Although I also understand Ysaye's later desire to break away from his great teacher Vieuxtemps. This is more like a development of Vieuxtemps' tonal language (which doesn't bother me as a Vieuxtemps fan). But written at 25, already grown up ;-) I like this recording as much as the one from the complete recording of (almost) all Vieuxtemps concertos (Nikita Boriso-Glebski played the 3rd concerto by Vieuxtmeps): The Liege orchestra is wonderfully present and dramatic and the soloist fascinating.
Actually me and the original creator of this video both finds 2 more, just not yet to work on it. I am working on the recent Anzoletti Viola Concerto No.1...

This piece has more flesh on the bone than the E minor concerto. I ranked it in my notebook as excellent.
WOAH, this is awesome :)
:))))
Can you please tell me where can I download these notes?
really needed, I want to play.
Russian time xD
It's in Juilliard Manuscript Collection.
This is really exciting but alas, the search for G minor continues.
