Of all the SEALS I’ve learned about, Clint is one of the most impressive. The cool, quiet, non bragging way of talking is great to watch. Still a badass for sure.
He worked for the NSA. What do you think guys like that needed a SEAL for ??? Computer skills teacher ? Nah. They’re all nerds and SPOOKS already. They needed a professional killer with demolition skills that thought outside the box.
Clint reminds me of a SEAL from Team 3 I met at their table on USS Denver during San Francisco Fleet Week back in '97. I remember thinking those guys looked like lethal surfers :).
I enjoy listening to both of you talking. Neither one of you has said a cuss word. I have listened to other Veterans podcasts and it is like every other word is a cuss word. You both show that your vocabulary does not have to include cuss words in order to make a point, etc. Thank you and GOD bless you both.
Saw this guy speak at a buddy’s Navy SEAL retirement on July 25th 2021 and he did an awesome and hilarious speech / roasting. Thanks for your expertise man.
I had a neighbor who was a Navy seal who did 3 tours in Vietnam. A great guy... He had many amazing stories. Fascinating show. First time I've watch. 👍🏼
Picked up a copy of 100 deadly Skills a few years ago, didnt know till now that there were more books. Escape the wolf sounds like a good add to my little library of study material in my security job/life. Just have to look hard to get a physical copy here in the Netherlands. But it will find its way here :)
I bought my wife his Rugged Life book, shes been engrossed in it and has already learned and applied skills she learned from it. Using the skills I learned growing up in a backwoods compound, and what she's learning we're slowly transitioning to a self-sufficient homestead. Thank you so much
Crazy... almost all the stunt guys I communicate with in LA kind of talk like Clint. Same intonation, same little linguistic things like the quasi-Texan (and non-valley) pronunciation of some vowels, cadence, the misc "what?"s and even the laugh. And most of these guys aren't veterans, but they're mostly working with the 87Eleven team, who did John Wick, and that movie was a conduit for the interface between soldiers and the stunt scene in the past 15 years (Chad and David and JJ were working with a lot of veterans through the whole process), and so the communication style has percolated down. Also thank you for your service.

Jack and Clint great interview! It is wonderful to hear the both of your evolutions in the Teams and where your careers took you and to see your success post your military service. Keep up the great work !!
I was getting ready to go to music fundamentals in my freshman year. Woke up, saw #2 on fire and watched 2nd plane hit. Went to class and there was only like 2 other students present. It just didn't occur to me to skip lol. 3 months later i enlisted in the Army.

It's important to have museums because the lessons of the past were purchased with blood. Museums overcome institutional Alzheimer's by preserving those past lessons. I volunteer at a local Air Force museum and there are things other than aircraft on display. That spy museum would be nice to visit--once travel restrictions are lifted.
I always wanted to go special forces. I was in the national guard, for 4 years really disappointed, got brought back in for golf war in 91 put in reserves, joined regular army for combat medic training then wife caused issues and a lot of bullshit happened and I screwed up. Should have said fuck everything and did my own thing and spent time getting training. Have a lot of regrets. I have a lot of respect for you guys that did the damn thing.
dang, not sure if you should start calling that dude, Six or Violator. he is the closest thing to the gray man as they come. got his 100 deadly skills when it came out. have to check out the new book
Ha!! I lived in Dhahran Saudi Arabia! And my dad worked for Aramco. I lived there from 66-69. Small world. I wonder if that’s the American compound that Clint lived on.
Dhahran was such a garden spot ! Don't miss it at all. A hot wet blow dryer in the face is preferable. Aramco survivor. The brown sidiki was a nice relief, however.
old school here. ? how come every body talks about business openly , i don't know anyone who'd admit a damn thing. of course were not selling books. just don't understand the new way. loose lips sink ships rgw/73
What’s the difference when a seal team does boarding vs the coast guard, serious question, are the seals doing capture and disable vs the coasters doing safety inspections and drug interdiction?? Why are seals doing boarding around the Middle East in the 90’s (if it’s still not classified)
Jack ... I have a request as a loyal fan. 1. I want Clint Emerson's Saudi Airport story to be included in a book and in the TV Show. 2. I want Senior Chief Don Shipley have a cameo as the phony. Tell me that wouldn't be the best Easter Egg ...
That cat is awesome! Read his book, THE RIGHT KIND OF CRAZY - it's a wild ride! Clint should be beatified by the Pope as the Patron Saint of BUD/S students and bar fighters!

My brother went to PSHS, too. That's pretty dope
What’s the whiskey in Clint’s shot?
Dhahran was such a garden spot ! Don't miss it at all. A hot wet blow dryer in the face is preferable. Aramco survivor. The brown sidiki was a nice relief, however.
Clint is a legit secret squirrel.
Right Libia was blowing up Hotels at that time. All our branches where staying incognito. Times of the PLO.
With Midwinters Night Dram sitting on the shelf, I’d like to know a bit more about this fellas whiskey collection
Jack’s collection👆🏽

How do you older seals feel about Steven Segal acting as a seal in his movies?
Should be Seagull....you know how much shit they drop

Basically this dude is the real life James Bond
so what’s the deal with the redheaded giant that was killed in Afghanistan. Any first-hand knowledge here?
Hey y'all, I just got this 4.5 inch version and noticed the hammer doesn't rest all the way down flesh against the firing pin. Is that normal?
Jack ... I have a request as a loyal fan.
1. I want Clint Emerson's Saudi Airport story to be included in a book and in the TV Show.
