The dark backgrounds on these are always really nice, and this one is no exception to that. Very nice turn out!
Have you considered an antique bronze/brass look for a backing? That dark goldie color that has that brush-polished look, not that the brush part would need to be achieved to have the same color vibe, but the antique coloring might look really nice with a vibrant, bright bloom in the middle. Blue, purple and black are genuine favorites of mine, but I wonder for those who love warmer colors if something warm to contrast a bloom wouldn't look really nice, too. Burnt orange with a flower that has that teal-y green patina color would probably be dramatic contrast, though naturally you may have to include some other brights like pink to tie it together. Many ways to bloom, and lots of gorgeous colors to combine as you like! 😊

Oh, I was pointing at the spot you missed and saying "you missed a spot Julie, come on, go back and fix it" until you actually did, lol. 😂 It still turned out beautiful in the end and it's interesting the effect that waiting a bit longer had since you can see more of the blue background there. Maybe you should try that deliberately next time? Like, do the inward lines first, heat up the resin and then do the outward lines and heat it again then do the swirl last and heat it one last time? Might be an interesting experiment to see how the bloom changes. Still turned out really pretty and in all my favorite colors too! 😍👍

This one turned out so beautiful! I think not wiping the stick between dragging out the points was really effective and made the centre really soft and blended the colours in a really pretty way. I was yelling at the screen trying to will you to notice the missed one but I was 90% sure you would notice anyway 😂
