Hiya, great video! Quick question. I have one of these and I engaged the blades when the engine wasnt up to temperature and it cut out. Now it wont start😥. It turns over though. Is it flooded? What do I need to do?
Hi, You may have flooeded it if you have been trying to start with no success. You could try taking out the spark plug, leave it and dry it before putting it back in.
Hi my engine starts but when I press my foot down on the pedal it doesn't move forward nor will it reverse. It's never done this before. Any advise appreciated. Mine is side discharge not rear.
Do I have to engage the cutting deck before the mower will move? i wish you'd shown moving the mower without the deck in drive. I've just bought an MTF 84 H and I can't make it move! Any help would be most welcome.
@PeterBrownPianist Hi Peter. I just saw this message, along with your other one. Apologies for the delay. There is a small handle at the rear of the mower (when you remove the grassbox it is under the chute area). This lever engages and disengages the drive. Make sure the lever is in engage (towards the symbol that has 2 cogs engaged)...otherwise it won't move! Hope this helps.
Hi, You did what I did, except one difference: You moved the mower with cutters engaged. I want to move my almost brand new MTF 84H without the blades engaged. I did exactly as you did, but when I selected forward drive (mine's also hydrostatic) nothing happens, apart from a slight change in engine note, as if something's trying to happen, but it can't! Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Peter, apologies for the delayed response. I just want to check, are you saying your mower won't move at all or only when the cutting deck is on?
