Good to see you don’t go over 40 mph! Well done! I liked that you emphasised the point to educate us! 🤣 I probably could cope with the seat height but these days it would frighten me! 🤣🤣
Triumph do a lowering kit 25-30mm at rear & 18mm front & do a lower 20-25mm comfort seat so you'd be looking at 45-55mm lower than stock but engine block be lower to ground but that's bugger all get a sump plate. Definitely substantially better than Hornet, Suzuki 800 & it's a triple & chuck a aftermarket exhaust system on it & the Triples sounds magnificent. Quick Shifter is a game changer. Also pull your old thick 3" sole shoes😁😆😂🏍️🤣.
The problem with the triple is simply keeping to the speed limit, no matter how many times you tell yourself you are going for a gentle ride, within 5 minutes you are going for it. It’s not your fault it’s what the triple does to the brain, I know because I had a 12reg 675 for over 3 years and I swear I never managed a gentle ride ever 😂 They are great bikes for sure but for me, in the end the higher revs started to wear me down so now live with the Classic 350 which I love, but I think every one should at some time own the Triumph triple 😊
your bang on right there , - i would never buy a bike with that horrid bug eye lash up , but a a nice run out for you ;; wow ;;; it seems to hold 40 mph very well ..
I got it's little brother but sounds the same. The old Trident 🔱 900 they made from late 1990's-2006 are great bikes Dain 🌲 tree & Daytona 675 like Vinny had or a 765 if you want a light bike & no cam belts like a 2000-2006 Ducati.

"...but I think you're getting a substantially different motorcycle." I'm sure my insurance company would agree! When you consider that a CBR600R was about £7000 back in the mid 90s, this is a bargain!
That traffic and the speed limits kill me! It’s such a shame I live two minutes from the Brecon Beacons roads…….if you could move that shiny thing in the sky further west it would work for me. Cheers. Nice review too.
Great video as always apart from parking it in the shade! The price with that paint colour and basic options including belly pan, heated grips, tank pad, paddock stand bobbins and protection accessories is £10,630. Add the tail luggage, alarm, TPMS, connectivity kit and some extra bling and it's over £12K. Still decent value, imo.
@@TAYM It's fun comparing different manufacturers' prices for accessories. For example, a lower seat for the BMW S1000R is a zero cost option whereas Triumph are asking £159 for theirs on the Street Triple 765!
@@sambagogo777 yes, the other thing is that prices go up and bits seem to come off😁 when I bought my T120 it came with heated grips, centre stand and grabrail. The new T120 costs over £1000 more and has all those missing, cost to add them about £750. 🤔
Great review Mr TAYM; great bike, I prefer the clock to the one on the RS, more power than i need now though, it'd be wasted on me. Ride safe and take care TAYM.
Just booked the R in Crystal white. But that Comic Yellow is epic. Out of my budget unfortunately. I personally think the current styling of the bug eyes is the best in the series. Less happy bug, more angry wasp now. If they lose that bug eye it will no longer be the Street Triple.

Another marvellous review of this naughty boy bike 👍😀 It's such a pity that Euro emissions laws force us to trade exhaust note for air box hum, you can hear this bike just wants to Scream 😣😦 Isn't it strange how 41mph seems so fast when you're not sat on the bike 😉😌😂 I still don't like the bug like headlights but have to concede that when stood next to the Moto 2, I was sorely, sorely tempted 😘
Great video as ever. Serious potential for naughty speeds in the blink of an eye...Probably the best roadster style machine there is. Light, quick, quality brakes and suspension and comfortable riding position...too naughty for everyday use perhaps?
Well TAYM I have to say it surely must be a great bike to ride but maybe not so much to look at . I would have one in my garage and would enjoy riding it I am just not sure it's one you would get off and look back at and think wow that looks so good IMO .😉But I think that's the same with many of these modern trasformery type of bikes . Like you say yone gets used to things would you swap the bike with no name for one of these ? just curious I think Mrs TAYM would say an enfatic noooo😁👌👍
Well Mr TAYM, on the one hand I love it, but on the other hand, anything that quick is hard to justify anymore, with all the speed enforcement/average camera’s etc. They don’t arf sound well though, inspiring naughtiness 😈😂

Naughty boy bike 👌. Sadly, even with modest power compared to superbikes (like the BMW S1000R) it's really difficult to find somewhere to exploit more than a fraction of it's performance. 30, 40 - a brief section of national speed limit followed by a 30 with speed humps. I worry that when realising the cost of putting up 50mph signs there will eventually be a push to simply do a blanket change to the national speed limit on all single carriageway roads. 😔 That being said, it is indeed a handsome, well equipped machine and excellent value. 😊
@@TAYM whoever would have thought that the performance of our single cylinder Royal Enfields would be frustrating as too much to use 🤔. In Wales this coming autumn they certainly will 😔
I saw that! It looked like a flamingo. Another great bike from Triumph 👍👍Amazing how well it holds 40 mph 😂😂🤣🤣Hilarious! It does sound a bit like a sewing machine when it gets to "40". It does occur to me that I would make that journey in the same amount of time whether I was on a Street Triple, an 'Onda Rornet, a Hey Tess, or my 50bhp Interceptor. I would have a lot more fun with the Royal Enfieldness and sound of the Interceptor though. Just my 2 cents worth.....

I've just fitted an evotech tail tidy to my rs, it's pricey at £150 but very well designed and good quality. All wiring is concealed and there's bosses for the Indicators to mount on. It looks great. 👌
TAYM can you stop doing this ? you just keep making me want naughty boy bikes 🤣🤣🤣I've always liked the look of the Street Triple I think that from the front it looks like the No Fear logo with the eyes and from the side it looks like some kind of angry wasp or hornet but it's main selling point is that it doesn't look like anything else. Great review as always. I love the look of it, obviously very like the old street triple, especially at the front, it's cracking value, almost bought one recently but got a ducati monster instead, definitely a case of the heart making the decision on that one!!!
For that amount of money it should look better in the front. Don't like the Dame Etna front. And the dash should be a full color screen. But just my opinion.
