I am doing a high fat liquid diet with great results so far and not much hunger, My diet includes liquids with not much carbs such as, whipping cream, organic half and half, kerrygold butter, green pasture cod liver oil and green olives and of course my yummy pickles ...lol.... all these things are making my liquid diet quite breeze.. I never did this before. In the past I did just plain ole liquid diets and never paid attention to macro's. Getting ready to join my local co-op to get raw milk.

I tried this just this evening & its a really easy & healthy treat! Oh boy most doctors would cringe. LOL BUT they have lost all this knowledge. I grew up with digestive issues & lived with constipation & weight problems. Then after I got older & had to have my uterus & gallbladder removed it all got much worse. God helped me to find the information I needed to help myself through Homeopathic & Holistic remedies. Then Raw milk entered my life.. Raw butter & cheese & things really began to change. Now that I know about CULTURED & FERMENTED FOODS I'm living in a totally different better world. My conditions are turned completely around & healing has ramped up to MAXimum amplification! No doctor ever said anything about these very simple natural super cures. Thank you for your videos they have helped me understand how to get to the fermented foods. The potato salad was one of the first recipes I tried.💜💕

I used to believe the low fat stuff. I was very unhealthy until I changed to the traditional diet and increased my natural fats and decreased my breads and sugar. 30 lbs fell off with no effort. I feel so much better. I am not a kid that got fat as an adult because of fat. I am a 50 yr old female who got leaner and healthier by eating nutrient dense fats. Being a fat loving adult saved my life.

this sounds really nice, i may have to give it a go some time. My mother always used to let us lick the bowl/mixer beaters. I liked the mix as good as the cake or what ever it was she made.

Ha, ha - that is so true! Thanks for that!
If you go to my blog, there is a written version of the recipe with PB substitutions.

@leftunattended we have no argument on that. when i say people used to eat less fat - i mean less HIDDEN fat. all snacks and nice crunchy processed food contain much more fat than home-made food, in the long run.
so sure you can eat 1/4 stick of butter on your toast, but not if you also eat junk-food and snacks and drink sugary sodas, etc.
when people used to eat more butter - they had less garbage in their system.
most of them could afford only a certain amount of butter or lard anyhow.

Is there a non-peanutbutter version of this? Also what store do you get the Kerry butter.

Mark Hyman, MD, author of "Blood Sugar Solution" agrees with you whole-heartedly. I am making these changes in our home. Ooooooh and the grass-fed butter tastes so amazing!!! Same with the true raw honey.
I do organic cocoa though. Not a carob fan.
    **************************KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!********************

@catman72 - where did you get the idea that "in the old days" people ate much less fat? Not in this country (USA), that's for sure. People cooked with Lard, for crying out loud.
You are wrong on all counts. Healthy fats actually help us lose weight. It is the trans-fats that are the problem. You could smear a 1/4 stick of grass-fed butter on your toast and it would be fine. I've actually done it. BTW - I have amazingly LOW cholesterol.

Butter healthy... She has got to be American.

Sorry, you are very wrong here. People DID NOT eat less fat in the old days - they ate MORE FAT and LESS Carbs. Case in point: Fat does NOT make you fat. If I took out the fat and ate what most Americans eat instead which is grain based carbs, I would put on 40 lbs in about 6 months. Too much bread and carbs is what packs on the pounds, which people in the old days did not eat in excess like people (and kids of today).

    children who don't like butter??
    never heard of it.
    :-o
BTW in the old days people ate much less fat, so they could eat butter without worries.
and getting children used to high fat diet (even the healtiest fat)
is a problem - they grow up to be fat-loving adults,
and as adults they don't grow, they just get fat. :-(

catman72 actually people drank fermented beverages with mild alcohol since water wasn't safe. That is why French have health

You added too much honey in my opinion. This is not healthy.

A pound of fat, a cup and a half of sugar and a whole heaped tablespoon of salt, that will feed your children "for a long time"...?
Very healthy, yeah. I can see them selling this at schools instead of fruit.
Does lard count as one of your 5-a-Day?
