Come grocery shopping with me, the most delicious oat cookies & chicken soup for my poorly babies

In this video I bring you along to our weekly grocery shop. I bake the most delicious oat cookies, and my babies have been poorly so I made them chicken soup.

Chicken soup ingredients:
- 800g Chicken Niblets
- 4 Carrots
- 1 White Cabbage (~650g)
- 2 Onions
- 1 tablespoon Garlic & Ginger Paste
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Ground White Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tablespoon Ground Turmeric
- 2 tablespoons Corn Flour
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Light Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
Oat cookies ingredients:
- 100g Butter (melted)
- 150g Light Brown Soft Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 135g Porridge Oats
- 100g Plain Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 50g Raisins
- 100g Peanut Butter Chips
Bake @ 200c/180c Fan for 12-14 mins

Salaam shamsa, hope the kids get better, the soup looked nice but instead of putting cornflour, you could peel the veg and when cooked puree it, then add to soup. Just an idea.

Awww Subhanallah sister. My kids have been sick as well and I’ve just recovered from COVID. Right now my youngest is very I’ll so I’ll probably make soup again as well thanks for the inspiration! Love your videos!

wat heat do you put them on? what gas mark? Jazakallah
@@farihachaudhry6962wsalam. 180 degrees in fan assisted oven, I put them in for 13 mins till golden brown.I added nuts to mine and raisins instead of choc chips. Hope this helps

I hope ur kids feel better soon inshallah. Also I love hot chocolate with whipped cream also FARHA is so gd I watched it already!!! Its really sad and interesting to watch. I hav a bad cough n sore throat n its been nearly 2 months so no hot chocolate for me. Its so hard to avoid getting ill when you work with children!!!

Don't think ppl do in soups
The onion peels have nutritional content, so better to leave it on for soups.. then remove later

Thank you ❤️ I didn't add the veggies to this soup. If you blend the veg you can freeze in ice cube trays to make veg stock cubes 👍🏽
