Do you shamsa and the world will adjust..❤ do your bulk meal prep, enjoy your chocolate, tea and novels.,I’m a stay at home mom too and I also hate the way society and mostly fellow women look down upon this way of life
I am a silent viewer, I love your channel, it brings peace and tranquility to my mind, and I get inspired by your way of meal prep, family, faith values, and cooking. I honestly dream to be a stay home mom in the future if the conditions permit( if it is my destiny) , and I am not afraid to say it out loud despite western society 's pressure on women to overwork themselves. I think a lot of women are forced to work in toxic corporate or other stressful jobs so they can make ends meet. A house wife is not only a house wife. A housewife is like a leader or minister handling the environment, the well-being, the physical health of her family, her kids and her husband, the most precious beings in her life. She feeds them, clean their rooms, entretain them, discpline them, and play the role of therapist to her family in difficult times, and the list is endless. So, I think people who look down on this amazing and sacred role are just envying this lifestyle. God blesses you Shamsa and your beautiful Family.
You are a great mother and example with a fun personality. I'm not Muslim, but you do your community justice how down to earth you are. I'm a stay at home mum of 1 child, but also home educate him full time and it is work. Women should respect each others choices more, at home, working, both, we all try our best. Best wishes to you and your family.
Loved this video so much ❤️ Thank you for sharing about this, I get told that I am useless just because I am a stay at home mom. I find my job or role priceless. You CANNOT put a price tag on a job a mom does.
If you get treated like this, because you have not made it a requirement to be acknowledged. You need to love and respect yourself first. Make your own self priority before everyone else.
@@raninazreen5718 I love being stay at home mom, it is the people OUTSIDE THE HOUSE that think a woman has to leave her kids to daycare and go work for the boss. I don't know where your wild assumption came from
Salaam aleykoum, as a housewife myself, I love to watch your videos. For recipes or just to listen and get motivated. Be a better wife and mother. Thank you ❤️
I’m a recent revert I really enjoy your channel, I always wanted to be a housewife although it’s much harder than going to work outside but I couldn’t afford to. You do you other people’s opinions aren’t nearly as important as your own and your family will really appreciate and love you for all your hard work. Xxx
I was feeling down too on how society looks down on being a housewife but this video gave me all the motivation that it is indeed the best and most rewarding job in the world! JazakhaAllah khair for making this video Aunty, and so lovely to get to know you more!
This spoke to how I've been feeling recently. I'm a stay at home mum of one, and many people look down on me and don't understand why I would want to stay at home with 'just' one child. I'm also a qualified teacher but don't want to do that for a job any more. My husband works in a very high stress job and we feel the best way for us is for me to stay at home, although I will inshaAllah be starting a business from home soon too. I also do some meal prep so I can have time to take my daughter out places, and time to myself, and someone (my own mum ha) also made the same comment to me about cooking fresh food rather than freezing meals because that's bad for my kid. I think that comes from a generation who basically saw their role for children as needing to feed and clothe them - they didn't prioritise spending time as a family, one to one activities, giving children lots of stimulation, having routines with bedtimes etc. That would be chaos for me. I love that I can be organised enough for my child do have the experiences she does, because I MAKE TIME for them rather than sticking her in front of the telly and being in the kitchen for hours every day. Of course I sometimes need screen time when I really need to get things done, but not much. My husband is a strong support too alhamdulillah - often the women who a judgemental don't have that so those comments can come from insecurity. I relate to you a lot, Shamsa, as I'm sure do many others - you do you!
1:27 No, it's not a crime to meal prep. Firstly it's been trending for a while now and every household it's different. Meal prep gives you time to spend/interact and be "present" for the children or help them with take them out/ homework/chill. I think people should think did their parents sit down with them often or were they busy cooking, you'll realise the importance!
Subhanallah, just folding my kids clothes on the sofa half asleep... and listened to this inspiring video. MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU SISTER SHAMSA, so down to earth Mashallah❤️❤️
Shamsa, ignore people leaving horrible comments. You literally made my life more manageable as I got the idea to batch cook from you! No way I would go back to day to day cooking as like you said you can't do anything other than that on that day. This way I actually get to spend proper time with my children, help them with school work and manage other household tasks. So thank you deep down from my heart. Lots of duas for you and yours. Stay blessed darling xx

Being a home maker is the greatest job. Because one is setting the main foundation for their children, which is important. I have passed my msc but career isn't always the best Allah had a different plan for me a better one then the one I thought. I have 1 child at the start of the msc, and InshAllah will grow my family after Ramadan. Concentrate on myself, my elderly mother, my prayers, akhara etc, this life is very short, honestly i dont want to be stressed out with shift work in the hosiptal, getting up at 4am, coming home 11pm after doing little food shopping, people looking down on me with discrimination as i wear a hijab🤲🏼 good job, well done, u are an amazing person.

Really enjoyed this and hearing your story so much sis :) my darling mother was a housewife. She died in 2015 and I look back now and feel so thankful to her for making that sacrifice, because we got to spend so much precious time together and some of my best memories are of what we would cook and do around the house together. Housewives, mothers, wives...these roles are so underrated
Salaam Shamsa I've been watching you for a few years now and I really enjoy your vlogs, when I get the time 😅 I admire what you do for your family, as a wife and a Mother, its a very rewarding and noble role to raise your children and be a housewife, we are the first teachers for our children. I also want to say to do what works for you and your family because its what's best for you. Keep doing what you are doing and May Allah keep blessing you and your family. Ameen
I have been watching you since long, you are amazing, just know that. Managing everything at home is full job. Love your soothing voice ☺️, You face and the way you manage your home, reminds me of my dearest aunt, who no longer with us. Stay blessed my sister Spread positively as you do always 😊
MashAllah Sister! Thank you for your videos I’ve been married 2 years and I’m getting better Alhumdulilah but im not good at planning. But I want to start having kids soon InshAllah and my goal this Ramadan is to do some prep and planning this year so I don’t waste food and it’s easier on me so thank you your videos are truly so helpful
I am a full time working mother but havnt always been, housewives and mothers do an import hard job and it shouldn't be overlooked. Love watching your videos keep up the good work x
MasahAllah May Allah increase you and your family in goodness 💖 Alhamdullilah Allah rewards us mothers for taking care of our husband, our kids, and our home. Society can think what they want to think but in the eyes of Allah, we are getting sooo many good deeds and it could very well be our ticket to Jannah 💕 Alhamdullilah
Assalamu alaikum sister Shamsa, I love watching your videos as I like your meal prep and getting new, cool food ideas! You manage your household the best way it works for your own family and people will always say things, sadly. You are doing so much khayr than we can ever appreciate but Allah knows. My mum was a SAHM when I was growing up and I am forever grateful for how involved she was in our lives الحمد لله, and the support from our dad. Thank you for another wonderful insight in this video and may Allah always bless and protect your family. Ameen!
MashaAllah sister. I think it's a blessing to be able to be a homemaker, especially in today's world. Whatever works for everyone but I can't see now a better 'job'❤️
Nothing wrong with meal prep it's helped me through some rough times. Whenever I'm unwell I know my kids and family will still have homemade healthy food n not a takeaway
Love you shamsa. Also a stay at home mom of 3. The youngest is 1. Love to be home with my kids and enjoy doing my thing with them but feel sorry that other women look down on stay at home moms. Some even ask when I will go back to work. I enjoy reading books playing with my kids and cooking. It is like it's a crime to be a homemaker.
Your meal prep videos are my favourite to watch. It’s motivated me gave me so much ideas and most importantly saved me so much time to spend with my little ones. Keep it up sister❤
Salam Shamsa. Its so comforting to watch your videos. They are so simple and calming to watch. May Allah bless you & your family with His mercy & put barakah in your time & energy.
Love your videos I’ve been watching them for a while for inspiration. I totally agree it’s very difficult to do house work and cook meals everyday from scratch x
Just fab! I had a few months of being stay home wife and mom while transitioning into jobs and I enjoyed it so much. As you have mentioned I got to do things in the comfort of my own home, be there for the family and made meals for them - I even got better with meals. You are absolutely right - stay home moms or housewives build communities. That's the future of happy children. Working moms are frankly overworked, burnt out and tired even with husbands helping around because it's a whole day of being stimulated at the workplace and low energy to even be wives and moms at 7pm. My aspiration in the near future is to be a stay-home parent haha! I was much happier and lively, my kids and husband were happy too. I know I sound simple-minded but nothing beats the feeling of home.
Whoever wrote that comment about your meal prep must have been pampered growing up. They probably never lifted a finger and had their mum do everything. I love your meal preps. We're a family of two and I enjoy cooking most time, but I don't like to do it every day. You are an amazing mum and homemaker. Don't let anyone get you down
What an interesting vlog you shared with us shamsa. A lovely start to your lovely family. I worked after my 1st child was born but stopped a year later due to her getting epilepsy and also,we had to move far away due to my husband getting a transfer. I wasn't happy in this small town but have grown to live with it. I had my second daughter soon after we settled. I was a creche mom for 8 years now a stay at home mom although my daughters are in their 30s. One is engag3d to be married and lives with her fiance. My eldest want to go to Australia to a friend of ours who will hopefully help her get work and being epilepsy they also have all the best hospitals and so forth. I've loved the comfort of my own home like you but their are daywhen i just want to get up and dress up and go to work like other ladies do. But i am blessed just suffer from anxiety now and again. Not nice. Take care shams and look, forward to your next vlog xxxxx
Salaam sister love watching your videos and I have been doing so for the past 3 years, I’m also a stay at home mum of 3. Your videos are very motivational. My name is also shamsa and my husband’s is Aqeel 😊
I'm a muslim single mom, my daughter is handicapped. I work and I do all at home by myself. But I definitely don't have the time to cook every day, I don't meal prep, I order food if I really feel my batteries low. 7 kids I really can't even imagine. Lots of respect for you! ❤
Shamsa, what makes me continue to watch your videos is how much dedication I see from you, towards your family. I think you’re an amazing mother and wife. I often wonder how you do it all. These negative comments you might get are so silly. May Allah reward you for all that you do, ameen. Most of all, I can sense how much you love your family and the atmosphere of love that you and your husband create in your family and that’s aspirational to me.
Good vlogs and yes you done your job had kids and you are looking after your precious family and you have good qualifications and housewife are superstars too 😮❤
Salaams sister, I loved your vlog and thank you for sharing your life with us. I personally love cooking but hate being in the kitchen lol and if there is a way to spend less time in there and still turn out a wholesome family dinner then hey sign me up. You are so accomplished and I hope you never feel discouraged by others, you have a lovely and loving family mashallah and I pray Allah blesses you always. Keep your chin up,head high and you do you.❤ Ramadan Kareem to you and your family, stay blessed Allah Hafiz❤
I love your meal prepping ideas! They help me out so much as long as I follow through on them 😅 I did cut up all the onions and put them in the freezer ;you said just cry once instead of every night 😂 I took that to heart
My God- you are my inspiration Sister Shamsa and I look up to people like you MashAllah. Please remember you are an amazing soul and those making the negative comments or judging are jealous and insecure that you have a good relationship with your family- honestly, they have so many issues in their own homes and like to spout their hatred and unsolicited advice onto the next person living.
Been enjoying your vlogs for yrs and I loved this video so muchhhhh. Thank you for sharing and never change who you are. Love your personality and funny things you say every now and then. Just what I needed during my roza...everyone needs a shamsha in their lives...u brighten up even the dullest of days. Masha Allah. Remember to take care of yourself before others, Queen shamsha.
I hate house chores😓 but ❤ baking been baking with my mum since 12, haven't stopped since ( sometimes I don't feel like baking though😊) I love watching your bakes too.
Salam. I also meal prep it makes so much more since to me so that i can free up more time to spend with family. Keep doing what yr doing. we all need to give ourselves a pat on the back 😊
Salam sister! In the shop compilation at the beginning there was a tin of Tamrah dates, what shop were these from? They have become my favourite and I am preparing for my first Ramadan that I can participate in and I really want to buy some so I can be super prepared! Just ordered my first Jilbab too!! So excited for Ramadan! ❤
Aspiring to be a great mother with many children and running the home so they can have the best life is amazing. People so often award things like finishing uni or getting up the career ladder but staying home and sacrificing all of that to work for small people that are mostly ungrateful and manage your husbands life from the background is the most rewarding thing you can ever do and it’s what Allah rewards us the most for ❤
Salam Shamsa. I find you very inspiring and I have used your tips of meal planning over these past few years and trust me I find them so useful. I am also a housewife so I know what you go through.
In all honesty, a lot of us women nowadays wouldn't even meal prep because we can order take outs easily. It pains me to see a woman not be able to pursue her career because of family, because it gives us a chance to have a life outside the house. However, what you are doing now being a housewife, no matter if its not a career, brings a lot of meaning to the kids. For them, to know there is a mom looking after them, making tasty meals and creating a cosy environment can really impact them and the childhood memories they have. Watching you brings back memories of childhood, the comfort of home, the simplicity of enjoying daily life.✨ Wish you and your family a wonderful Ramadan and abundance of wealth xx
i just love all your videos sis mashAllah you are so amazing with a beautiful big family mashAllah may Allah bless you all with good in this life and the next ... ameen
Shamsa you're super woman and doing great! Do what works for you...theres always haters no matter where you go...i always say do what you think is best and forget the rest 💕
Firstly I have the exact same black scarf with white flowers on it! Secondly the commenter who said their mum made "fresh" meals everyday and you were lazy are they having a laugh?!!!! I USUALLY make a fresh meal every day however I could never muster the energy to prep like you do on Sundays it takes an enormous amount of dedication and I'm too lazy to do that. You are anything BUT lazy. You have seven children and provide them with nourishing comforting meals, you look after your family and home so well. Some people just look to put others down because they're jealous. I had a lady say to me once I'm lazy because I don't make my own oat milk at home and she does and is proud of it 🤣 girl what? The point is someone will always have soemthing to say please ignore.
This person had 10 kids and did this and that ? A big congratulations to them!👏 You work extremely hard and manage your household very well Shamsa There must be so much that you do that she never did. Like for starters creating amazing content for us ❤

Ameen
I love being a housewife Alhamdulilah is an amazing blessing to be there for your kids at all times
I have been watching you since long, you are amazing, just know that. Managing everything at home is full job.
Love your soothing voice ☺️,
You face and the way you manage your home, reminds me of my dearest aunt, who no longer with us.
Stay blessed my sister
Spread positively as you do always 😊
It's a beautiful role and you should be proud to be a mother of 7 looking after her kids
You do what works for you and your family, you are amazing shamsa❤ if I had a larger freezer I would 100% meal prep too
Thank you so much beautiful 🥰❤️🥰
Love how down to earth and relatable you are 😊 you are so hardworking and so likeable 👏 xx Salam
You are such hard working mum. May Allah bless you and your family ameen xx
Thank you. It was wonderful to get to know a little more about you. May your day be full of love and light. Xxx
Aww so glad you enjoyed it ❤️ thank you 🥰❤️
Salaam sister love watching your videos and I have been doing so for the past 3 years, I’m also a stay at home mum of 3.
Keep your chin up,head high and you do you.❤ Ramadan Kareem to you and your family, stay blessed Allah Hafiz❤
loved this video especially your taste tester at the end lol!!!!
I love your meal prepping ideas! They help me out so much as long as I follow through on them 😅
I did cut up all the onions and put them in the freezer ;you said just cry once instead of every night 😂 I took that to heart
So happy to see you uploaded. What a lovely vlog with great meal ideas
I miss watching your videos Shamsa❤ Ramadan Mubarak to you and your family❤
Excellent upload 👌 👍 Thank you for sharing. Stay blessed 👌 😊 Watching from Halifax UK 🇬🇧. 😀😀😀😀😀
Very inspiring! I'm also a housewife in Hertfordshire. I think meal prep are also more economical
MashaAllah what an inspiration you are...😊..that lamb akhni looked delicious 😋😋😋
@Z P Thank you so much! I will look online or make my own if I can’t find any! I hope you have a lovely Ramadan inshallah 😊
Aspiring to be a great mother with many children and running the home so they can have the best life is amazing. People so often award things like finishing uni or getting up the career ladder but staying home and sacrificing all of that to work for small people that are mostly ungrateful and manage your husbands life from the background is the most rewarding thing you can ever do and it’s what Allah rewards us the most for ❤
I only just got notified of this so aggravating.
Love the videos
Salam Shamsa. I find you very inspiring and I have used your tips of meal planning over these past few years and trust me I find them so useful. I am also a housewife so I know what you go through.
What an inspiration for many women. This is real women empowerment ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your videos make me really motivated!
May Allah reward you and your family

Heya .. I've now joined your channel, so happy to be a member. X
Thank you beautiful ❤️
@@officiallyshamsa you're so welcome, I loveeeee your channel x
In all honesty, a lot of us women nowadays wouldn't even meal prep because we can order take outs easily. It pains me to see a woman not be able to pursue her career because of family, because it gives us a chance to have a life outside the house. However, what you are doing now being a housewife, no matter if its not a career, brings a lot of meaning to the kids. For them, to know there is a mom looking after them, making tasty meals and creating a cosy environment can really impact them and the childhood memories they have. Watching you brings back memories of childhood, the comfort of home, the simplicity of enjoying daily life.✨
Wish you and your family a wonderful Ramadan and abundance of wealth xx
Food looks delicious! May Allah swt bless you and your family. Ameen.
Im so proud of you sis ❤its not easy bringing up 7 kids ma sha allah you gave birth nd raising them up nd worked nd doing YT 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I love that saying! Thank you sis ❤️🥰❤️
Housewife is full time job love love your vlogs stay blessed beautiful family Ameen lots of dua from London
Thankyou so much for sharing everything
You're so welcome beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
ASA Sis, Mashallah thank you so much for your videos, so inspirational.
