Day out at IKEA, easy weeknight dinner & orange upside down cake

- In this video, I share some days in my life. We visited IKEA and bought a few lovely bits, I made fried fish with noodles for a quick and easy weeknight dinner, and baked an orange upside down cake.

Fish batter ingredients:
- 10-12 White Fish Fillets
- 1 cup Self Raising Flour
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Blood Orange Upside Down Cake ingredients:
For the syrup:
- 3 Blood Oranges (sliced)
- 100g Sugar
- 50ml Water
For the cake:
- 175g Caster Sugar
- 175g Unsalted Butter
- 175g Self Raising Flour
- 3 Medium Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Zest of 1 Orange

Shamsa how do you manage having 3 little ones when you are cooking or doing chores etc.
I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old I lost 2 and I'm pregnant again nearing my due date.
My 3 year old is more calmer now plus goes school for 3 hrs. However most of my time is keeping them busy feeding them playing with them telling them stories and activities I don't get much time to myself as I'm I'm doing the daily chores too and cooking. My 2 year old still breastfeeds at night and early morning although he eats his meals.
My day starts earl6 morning and finishes late night as my husband comes home from work late and I like to have his food ready for him although he doesn't put any expectations or pressure but I feel better knowing he's eaten after he's come back from work.

You sound tired in this vid Shamsa.. As someone who has preivously done calorie deficit dieting i would suggest you try subbing one of your daily snacks with a protein shake xx
