4:02 Staggering: I'm a healer... Any healer... I can literally wait at spawn, stabbing 'group up' and 'fall back'. Soldier is mid-fight, 1v6, and begging for heals. Rein charges YOLO style out of spawn just in time to watch Soldier die. The rest of the team is waiting out their respawn time complaining that nobody's going in to touch point while there's still 3 minutes left in the match. The closest thing to not staggering is to stick with the Hog who can probably stay alive just long enough to hold point with a 1HP Rein. Then, Soldier can come back for a mad flank against a Bastion with Mercy pocket. ... And, I do... what?
While in-match:
Me: Group up.
Soldier: Grouping is for coordinated teams.
Me: Grouping up coordinates the team.
Soldier: We need a shot caller for that.
Me: I'm telling the team to group up, aren't I?
Soldier: Nobody cares.

Tip 9, no matter how bad your team is, yelling at your team _will_ make everything worse and never helps. Be polite to win more games

It can be very hard to track ults sometimes but the best thing to do is be very observant about their behavior. If there’s a mccree deep in your back lines on the high ground doing a crouch peak every five seconds without shooting , then guess what he’s about to do.

I've been trying to climb out of bronze and I understand all the mechanics of the heroes that I am playing. But people do not communicate or care to group up and make an effort to attack at once or make call outs...you have to find a good group of people or friends in order to climb out of low elo
I played rein in 3400 and there was no communication neither :')
yep a duo partner or more group members will really help you climb, I was hardstuck in bronze too but once I found a duo partner I climbed to gold easily and am in my way to plat. finding some.good consistent people and playing as a group will always help.

I wish I had someone to play with, I only have one friend who plays ow and honestly they think it's appropriate to charge in by themself (they play tank) and then get confused as to why I'm not healing them from the other side of the map. I actually lost sr playing with them

@@biggie_morty2595 that was a pro league clip lmao, that was a professional player, he guessed that ana was there and he tried to get a pick, and he guessed wrong, pulse bomb is the fastest charging ult in the game, making a risky play is perfectly fine, shoot at a tank for 30 seconds and you have it back

Peeling is so true. Today i was playing on Hanamura as lucio and our Ana was in the bottom right corner by the spawn doors 2 point healing everyone. Every single time the Dva or Ball dove our ana, i would peel for her and she would live everytime which by keepin her alive won us the game because we were in Overtime 2 of those occasions.
I have an atrocious habit of swapping to mercy as soon as I see an enemy Winston so I dont have to deal with him, I really should stop and actually try to peel

As a Tip with Ult Tracking (Im Gold Genji , keep that in mind) Ask your Zarya if its likely that their Zarya has Grav already, and be especially aware of how your front and structure looks like. Zaryas will see those five people all near each other, and not pay attention to genji, dva, sigma, and get their Ult eaten or worse, deflected. But i use asking mates, and it works for gravdeflects and playing around it quite well

Im really new to the game, but im being main tank, and i don't really know what to do in most situations, like there is always that one bastion or genji or trace who would be deleting the whole team, over and over
For staggering you can go a long or flanking route and if you can deal damage from a distance for ult. Staying alive is still priority but you should never just sit and wait for team mates because what will happen is your all bunched up, also makes your positioning predictable. Bunching up makes you vulnerable to enemy ults.
This guy is so much passionate about this game. You can really feel it's one of his favourite things
It might be a stupid question but I ask it : who would be my first target in a team fight the tanks the support or the dps-s or it depends on the situaiton (if the last one in what situations?) . pls someone who is a lot smarter than me answer .
Generally, you go for supports. Without them the enemy has no sustain and all you have to do is pour damage into them. If there is a Mercy, definitely kill her as fast as possible so she won't Res.
If you can't kill the supports, go for Widows and other heroes that have a large presence, but only if you can either kill them or put enough pressure on them to get them out of the fight without you dying.
But if you see a low tank, or a tank who's being focused by your allies, help kill the tank. It removes a lot of presence and space for the enemy team.
Now I just need to take my own advice instead of going on autopilot every game. 😅

How do I solo carry as an Ana? I don't want to sound like I'm accusing you or anything, but the most I can do is hit a sleep dart on the Bob or ulting hog, or get really lucky and cancel an ultimate like sound barrier and earth shatter. My accuracy is pretty high at 50-65 and when I see dive heros on the enemy team I keep my cooldowns so I can kill them when they dive. I feel like I can really only hope my team can do something about it and heal tanks and hope that the enemy team doesn't out damage my heals. I also call out a lot and we do have team coms 9/10 times I play a match so I don't think it's a lack of communication. Is there anything specific I can do other than grind out games and hope I win more than I lose? (I can't play with my friends btw because I am out of skill range for healer. I can only play dps and tank so I can't practice ana. Also I was high plat and went down to low plat.)
I peel for my teammates and try my best to carry even use a mic to shout out plays but I'm still stuck in bronze rank 😢

B) A lot of people in our sort of rank dont actually join the voice chat at all I've noticed, and those who do, a lot of the time they completely block it out or are sexist. Hence why I no longer use voice chat myself
To be stuck in bronze, there has to be a major issue in your gameplay or you verse smurfs every game.

Ive dropped to mid silver from low gold due to my team refusing to work as a team. No matter the role i play, i've had games where we lost with me having 4K gold damage as Zen..

I’ve had overwatch since it first came out, I played comp when it came out but I was so bad at the game and sometimes never even finished my placements. I had about a years break and now I play good but I can’t get out of bronze/silver. Does my comp progress from back then effect my sr now? I’ve been told it does but I really don’t know

Your MMR(match making rating) will stay the same even if you don’t touch your account. You can get gm 1 year ago, and come back, and if u do well in ur placements ur still gonna place gm

I just wanna say that for tracking a flanks or Else you need to be a dps bc if you track and you’re rein all your team are gonna get melted bc you are not there to protect them

How to climb in low ranks. Short answer, you can't. Unless you're already diamond and above skill-wise and playing a hero that can solo carry.
I believe I have all of what you described, and even more than that and this still doesn't work. Maybe you have to be TWO tiers above and invest A LOT of time to climb, carrying HARD
Otherwise it's trash team dumpster who drags you down 80% if the time
What can work is either being lucky with one or two decent allies. Or have a friend or two to queue with
One big thing I noticed is when someone on the enemy goes bastion everyone shits them selves and hids in spawn
The bigges problem is, I play on SA and people speak two languages here: portuguese and spanish.
Hard af to do callouts when half your team doesn´t understand you.
Then I fall back on using english on the off chance that everyone understands me, which is never the case.
Is there a way for me to go play on NA servers? I can´t find a way to switch regions in the game client.
i think saying that ,'if 'you' don't make these mistakes but your teammates do you'll be the one to climb not them' isn't exactly true. After all its a team game and if your team doesn't track flanks, staggers etc. unless you're of top 500 caliber you'll have a really hard time winning. You can't climb if you dont win. I'm not saying this for all games obviously more just that there are some games especially in low ranks where the skill difference makes them unwinnable for the casual player.

As a silver/gold player on console I feel like peeling and coms are the biggest success to winning. Very few people are in team chat sadly.
I stay in team chat but i dont talk usually because even with mics, people are toxic and don’t communicate effectively anyway. Golds care way too much about medals. And not about what is actually helping the team.

Peelings gets free kills for the enemies... i was peeling since i started ow cos i am a social guy and also know if my mate survives we can do more, they ofthen run away and let you die to die then to the same guy a bit later, so longer respawns for your team.

It’s when you kill/apply pressure to an enemy who is focusing on a single teammate so that you can help keep them alive. Think of it like literally “peeling” an enemy off your teammate.

I looked it up and by GOD this is the biggest problem I ALWAYS have in my ELO. I'm an Ana main and getting spawn camped on my way to the point is hell and I can never get anybody to help, so we always just lose because it creates a rift between who can make it to the point and who gets picked off before getting back

Honestly, I do not understand how the ranking up works in this game. I thought that no matter how good you were if you lose a match with the people you are teamed up with you lose rank!

#1 problem people arent moving up is no one uses a fucking mic in a team game that benefits from ult coordination and call outs. Actually i lied. They all have mics but dont use them unless they want to whine into it about healing or how dps arent doing shit but never once call out a reaper flanking.
Go boot up black ops 1 from 2011 there are more people using a mic being helpful then in a game designed for team play
