Dev! I have a tooth infection too, it's an old root canal, it's the third time the infection has come back. Time to get it re done. The dentist wouldn't give me anything strong for it, the pain takes all my attention sometimes. Two grand I have to shell out, dental isn't covered here in canada.
@starmanda88 Yeah, most health problems are covered here, but, decades ago when the universal health service was implemented here, dental wasn't included in the program.
The point about the transitional sideboard is so important. Won a couple of games that I wouldn't have by taking out the reanimator stuff after they board in all the graveyard hate.
Some of the Orzhov Reanimator versions I built included The Eternal Wanderer either as a 2 or 4 of main deck, BO3. She can blink your reanimated creature via Rite of the Mouth and remove it's finality counter, she can "board wipe" without exiling your reanimated targets, she kills creature tokens, and makes doublestrikers which deals with urabrask forge tokens on blocks.
I’ve been playing a pretty similar but slightly different list for the last few weeks. Just last Friday I won a store championship with it, with matchups being Rakdos fling, gruul delirium, mono-red leyline, and Azorius abhorrent oculus. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well the deck performs honestly and how consistently you can get turn 4 Valgavoth/Atraxa/Fleshgorger. Idk if links are allowed or not, so I’ll hold off on posting my list.
Hey dev, It mythic in arena for the 3rd time and decided i wanna play paper and maybe go to opens at some point in the future. Any tips for buying into paper standard?
Emerge from the Cocoon and One Last Job are strictly better, I think. Sure they cost 1 mana more, but you can bring the same creature back and back again without a finality counter. Also means you can lower the big guy count making your deck more rounded.
@@captainanopheles4307 5 mana vs 4 mana. Would lightning strike be “strictly better” than lightning bolt if the text said “deal 3 damage to any target. If a creature dies this way exile it instead.”?
What happens in Arena if you have Valgavoth in play and your opponent has Rest In Peace in play? Where do dead creatures go? Where do they go if YOU have the Rest in Peace in play?
RIP is a replacement effect so I think it comes down to looking at Val's wording. "If a card you didn’t control would be put into an opponent’s graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead." and RIP reads "If a card or token would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead." So I think it comes down to which entered the field first. If Val was first then RIP the card that you don't control won't be exiled with Val, if the reverse and Val entered second then I think Val would exile the card to let you play it. Anyone better versed in the rules please chime in here.
I would bet that everything going to the graveyard would get exiled and Valgavoth would not be able to "see" the exiled cards that would of went to the graveyard.
Ziggy enchanted himself with menace for this video
the cat was going crazy for this one
It's my favorite magic channel, favorite magic channel
whatup dev its wizard
Ziggy said, “A play-set of Atraxa!?”

The cats have been going off this week lol

Reanimator decks and cats are two of my favorite things.

I am so sorry dude. That’s terrible. Dental isn’t covered?!? I can’t say I’m shocked as I’m American but I am kinda shocked.

Great deck tech, can't wait to try Unburial Rites again! 🃏🔥

Great deck!
I'd play a playset of Ziggy...
All hail Ziggy
Ziggy is one of us.
nice deck bro.
Why are we using the tapped surveil land instead of the colorless untapped as our 5th surveil land?
a WORSE Unburial Rights in standard?! Sign me up

Absolutely wild take
Confidence is admirable, but holy hell you are confidently incorrect.

I'm sorry, WOTC really dropped the ball with this. It should have been either mono Black or Golgari so you could slot it into a Wise Mothman deck.
