Crazy just how fast speedrunners/glitch hunters bring these games down. Also i'm just sitting here still like 20 hours into my first playthrough, and this guy literally coulda beat it 10 times over lol. Great run from Dist as always, looking forward to seeing where the run for this game goes
its just cause of how long theyve been gaming they know what to look for to find the glitch spots and such. same w every game similar spyro crash bandicoot all have plenty of level skip and shortcuts just depends on your game knowledge and how much effort you put into it no different then easter egg hunting on a game series. like COD for example w zombies EE.

Games that were souls-like before souls existed were Castlevania, Symphony of the Night, Kings field(FromSoftware actually but a old team) , Shadow of the Colossus , some people even throw Zelda & Gothic in there as well. Even the controls and mechanics mirror Ocarina of Time's controls but with newer technology with more money ofc. Also the same team who made the OG Shadow of the Colossus made a game called "Ico"(2001) which actually inspired Miyazaki to enter the video game industry. So to say this game "stole nearly every idea" is extremely unfair on the devs & isnt true at all & pretty disrespectful to all the ideas, creativity, & gifted talent that these guys have at Neowiz. The innovation that these dudes brought to the table w this game were through the roof with their FIRST project. FIRST. I would go check out their newly released accolades trailer. Talk about being a little naive gamer kid.

This game is pretty much a masterpiece as it stands but one thing that would’ve made it even better would to swap the delayed boss attacks to more combo attacks. They’re more fun to learn to parry than extremely delayed attacks.

I swear if distortion picks up a game, you can always count on him to get world record. Best speed runner in the world for any game. He is the literal Eminem of speed running! If I was a speed runner I’d just wait till he put my game down before attempting any kind of record. The man is insane!!!! 😮
laxasia one is probably one of the better designed fights. and then they made phase 2 just absolutely ridiculous. not quite unfair but it gets really close with how ridiculous she is.
I used them on Laxasia and Simon the day after the patch, one shotted the bosses. The buffs are crazy strong, especially as you can keep healing the Spectres if you invested in the cubes.
Please tell me Im not the only one who didnt notice that the police robot boss at the beginning of the game had a weakness. I spent almost an hour getting railed by him, and now Im even more upset about it.
