Well done. I know it's not rocket science, but this is the simplest design I've seen. I can appreciate a guy who knows how to work alone. I think I'll go with your shelves.
Outside of your shelves are much simpler as the 2x4 is on the outside, usually people put them in front which blocks off a section of the shelf. Yours are so simple to put together as well. Dont lose any space on the OSB
This video was awesome thank you. I love how you don't have to cut out the shelves at the end because you put the frames on the outside. And I'm definitely looking at castors now. I hadn't even thought about those
Great work. Wife wants to start yard sales soon. I will make a few of these on a smaller scale so that she can load up her merchandise on them, roll them out of the garage onto the driveway then roll them back in at the end of the day. Like this she wont have to load her merchandise onto tables every time she does a sale.
Very nice work and a great idea. Personally I would also add a board at the bottom so the containers can be on the shelf everytime you need to roll it. Great job regardless! Thanks for sharing.
The cross brace was some old barn wood that I already had on hand. It's 3/4" thick, so I'm sure any 1x6 pine construction lumber will work fine. Over all, the shelves and cross bracing are holding up very well. I'm very happy with these shelves! Gook Luck with your build, and Have a Great Day!
Pretty farm with a good ole tire swing hanging from the tree. I would love to wake up to that! Thanks for the sharing this video. This is the best technique that I've see on UA-cam.
I heart sea life nice build, you added a twist the wheels I like that. I added on to a existing shelf using the original setup , although it was only 16 inches coming out, the I used 4 8 ft 2 by 4s , with 22 inch side supports and 8 2 by 6 by 12s srewed into the supports, adding almost 2 feet coming out!!!
Love the Build, the castors is a very cool idea, Awesome job mate. looks like in the USA , you get much cheaper lumber and more space for your money. UK prices very high !
Are the dimensions 8 ft long, 8 ft high and 4 ft deep? Thank you for the video. The use of casters is interesting, I had not thought about that. Thanks
Yes, the dimensions are 8ft x 8ft x 4 ft. I'm glad I added the casters. It makes moving them around the garage so easy if needed. Thanks for the interest in this video.
Yes, it is not post and beam design. This is a fast and easy design. Since each screw can hold over 200 lbs. I'm not worried about the load on these shelves.
They are Hobart 90 Degree Welding Clamps. Which makes assembly of square items go much faster. This link should help you: amzn.to/2GgDnWa If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Have a Great Day Jason!
If those plastic boxes are already stackable by design, then why build shelves? To me, it's a waste of space. If you were going to build shelves for say a lot of miscellaneous things like air and oil filters, and small tools, and a couple electric hand tools, then I can see the need for shelves, but not plastic stackable boxes.

No joke. This was exactly what I was looking for. The timing was perfect. Thanks.
I'm glad it was helpful to you.
i think this design might be better than the ones that is attached to walls
Thanks! I think so too.

A shelf on the bottom is a good idea! Thanks for your comment! Have a Great Day!
Raul Padilla o.o
Could you supply plans on this? How many 2x4’s and all. This is an amazing setup and something I really need to put together in my garage.
Very interesting and cool corner clamp, makes the build easier
Thanks
Thanks for the video. I made these and it turned out great!
That's Awesome! I'm glad this video was helpful to you. This is the type of comment that makes my day!!!
Nice shelves. Didn't get the measurements!!!
& As a result, I didn't wait till the end
Thanks... It is 4 feet wide by 8 feet long, by 8 feet tall... with 2 feet spacing between the shelves. I hope this helps you!
Thanks for sharing. Gave me some great ideas.
I'm glad this video helped you! Thanks for watching!
Hands down, the best ginger ale. Vernors
I agree! :)
nice build. I would not have thought of the cross bracing. and I see you what, play golf once a year. lol, top shelf. that's where I would put them to
Thanks Sparky! Yeah, I don't play golf very often...lol.
Nice build Bear Creek! When I have a big enough shop I will be adding this to my projects.
Awesome!!! I'm glad you like it! Have a Great Day!

Ojalá me me hayas entendido con mi inglés de colegio ..saludos
great job ...
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
I’m making this now and your video has been my guide. Thank you! What type of wood did you use for the cross brace? How’s it holding up?
The cross brace was some old barn wood that I already had on hand. It's 3/4" thick, so I'm sure any 1x6 pine construction lumber will work fine. Over all, the shelves and cross bracing are holding up very well. I'm very happy with these shelves! Gook Luck with your build, and Have a Great Day!
your garage is the size of my house
Believe me, I did not always have a big garage. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed my video! Sorry to hear about UK prices. Have a Great Day!
great project. I am filling my house with these full of bins for ebay sales.
Great Video. Which wheels have you gone with and how are they holding up?
I bought the casters from Home Depot and they are holding up great. As long as you buy a medium priced caster you should be just fine.
What size wood did you use for the frame?
It's made from 2x4's.
Great video. Would you mind posting the measurements. Height width / depth and spacing between shelves? Thank you
It's 4' wide, 8' long, 8' tall with 2' between each shelf.
Thank you!
You're Welcome
@@BearCreekWoodworking Have you had any sagging over that 8' span?
@@biophiliac9 No, not any sagging.

Yes, the dimensions are 8ft x 8ft x 4 ft. I'm glad I added the casters. It makes moving them around the garage so easy if needed. Thanks for the interest in this video.
Thanks for that Idea on using those casters.
Awesome build!
Thank You!
Thank You So Much!
OSB: it holds up hundreds of pounds of roofing materials with 16-24" spaced 2x4 support. It does the business. 4:58
These shelves are still holding up fine.
Great Job!
Thank You! I'm glad you liked it!
Awesome video! Thank you. So appreciated!
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you liked it!
Nice video, like the concept.
Thank You
what size wheels did you use?
I used 5" casters.
very nice
Thanks
That is amazing great job.😊Love it. 4:57
Thank You So Much!
Good Job Man very informative!
Thank You Very much! I'm glad you like it!
were can I find the music ?
The music is from UA-cam Studio under the Audio Library section.
Your shelves are not post and beam . your weight is supported by your screws only . Be careful of the weight you put on your build
if you use structural screws its n to such big deal. I prefer GRK brand
Yes, it is not post and beam design. This is a fast and easy design. Since each screw can hold over 200 lbs. I'm not worried about the load on these shelves.
Lol I told some guy the exact thing you said ... he said: " hey I have been doing this four four years"!!! Lol okie dokie
what are those brackets called you used to make the ends square?
They are Hobart 90 Degree Welding Clamps. Which makes assembly of square items go much faster. This link should help you: amzn.to/2GgDnWa If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Have a Great Day Jason!
Cool video.. keep up the good work.. can't wait till your next build.
Crikey, does this guy live in aircraft hanger !!! How big is his storage.
What was the wood sizes?
I used 2x4's for the frame, and 3/4" plywood for the shelves.
Where can I get the plans to build this?
Sorry, there are no plans available.
Why does the intro sound like an infomercial you would see at 4am?
Get an impact driver, that drill is painfully slow.
Good Idea!
Wrong screws. Need star heads
Yeah, that's what I upgraded to now in my new projects.
Nice build, could have done without the annoying music.
Phones have volume controls. What are you listening for? Instructions? The guy showed you how to build it. It’s lumber, screws and wheels.
Why don’t you use a pencil? And those silly corner things...how bout your foot billy?
Oh, you mean the way you did it in your video. I see.
Music terrible!
Well, I hope you liked the content anyways.

I like to be able to get any tote out without moving other ones. Plus, with the casters, I can easy move all the totes at once anywhere I want.
@@BearCreekWoodworking You got a point. I will be building my shelves thanks to your UA-cam video. THUMBS UP!
