to be fair almost any 3 syllable name name that ends with -el could pass as an Angel's name, that's like their gimmick minus a few outlier (Sandalphon and Lucifer being examples)
But in the game, there is the dna reverser, which reverses the order of the fusion, making the head the body, and the body the head... changing the stats (and the sprite and name (and typing when applicable)), but nothing else. You keep the ability you chose upon fusion, you keep your moves. So, you could fuse Azumaril and Aerodactyl to get huge power, then reverse the fusion for the decent stats.
You're missing one crucial factor. In a Pokémon game, you fight with a team. You can use fusions to cover each others' weaknesses. As long as each member has different strengths, it's okay to have weaknesses.
So the real way to create the strongest Pokémon, is through the power of friendship. Truly the one of the most anime moments Pokémon has experienced… other than the anime itself that is.
My favorite DEFENSIVE fusion to use was Weezing/Umbreon, a poison dark type with levitate. Plenty of support moves, reliable recovery, no weaknesses and a pretty vast movepool.
So what I’m gathering here is that if the Infinite Fusion team add Bronzong to the game, that one mon will immediately break the meta in the same way that Meta Knight broke the SSBB meta.
Not really. Sure you have great defensive typing and an ability to patch up your x4 weakness, but you still have water and fighting weaknesses which are fairly common and your stats aren't anything special.
The Azumarill part is wrong btw you can fuse the Azumarill as body take hugepower and use a Reverse splicer and now u got the stats of the other body but with huge power.
This is how I made Pikablue and Azumarak [Azumarill +Pikachu/Marowak] Fuse Azumaril as the body first to get Huge Power. Then DNA reverser. The reason for this need is to properly use Light Ball and Thick Club: the bodies need to be Pikachu and Marowak. Doing this you get two pokemon that effectively start every battle woth 4x [stage 6] attack and can either set up more or just go for the kill. I soloed a prevrious version of the game with JUST those two fusions building up. It was hilarious. The stronger one was Marowak with the higher attack and slightly more defense but Pikablue was faster. They are Glass Canons, so they cannot take hits all too well, but they were still rediculously strong and could finish the game with 4 losses in 1 hour.
Took me halfway through the video to realize he was giving us enough options for a full team lol. I thought he was just reaaally building up to the finale.
I was thinking about what could be strong fusions and I thought of Magnezone and Hydeigon making a Dragon/Steel type Pokemon with Levitate that only has 1 weakness to Fighting.
Actually, due to how stats work, when optimized, shubarel’s stats are even higher, at this point, it would really suck to see a Pokémon with the ability unaware
this is a tough question. but for me the best pokemon fusion is either: -doublade/Meloetta pirouette, access to Close combat, return, spectral thief, U-Turn and knock off, coupled with No-guard, the best offensive typing in the game (Ghost normal) with access to Eviolite to bump up the already godly defense granted by doublade, and you get a real powerhouse. only problems being... she's slow. very slow, and few abilities can really take advantage of No-Guard in her movepool. -Porygon Z chandelure. ghost normal, Adaptability giving the already perfect stab coverage an extra oomph, access to dark pulse to have perfect coverage. beyond that, everything i've said about meloetta doublade is applicable here. just hitting specially and with an extra oomph on stabs. -Articuno Kyogre, articuno becomes Water/flying which is better than ice/flying for a special tank. access to drizzle, water spout, hydro pump, hurricane, thunder for an Assault Vest tank set. Roost if you want a safer approach. definitely one of the best rain-based option. -Garchomp/feraligatr. i am a simple man, and this is a simple fusion. take laggron, give it sheer force, and way more attack than it will ever need in his life. Zoroark/shedinja. Mid movepool, lame stats, virtually no offensive ability whatsoever. but due to the scarcity of Fairy typed attacks, a ghost/dark 'mon with wonder-guard just might be the best defensive pivot in the game. ran mine with toxic, baton pass and foul play. and he followed me from the early game to the very end.
Easy carry for most of the game. 2 shedinjas, fuse one with steel to make bug/steel = only weak to fire, hail, and entry hazard/confus. Then, second shedinja, you make ghosts/normal or dark, and it's your backup against fire only weak to either fairy or dark. Also, only no weakness combo i found is water/ground with sap sipper.
Pikachu body and Kyogre Head is an insane combo. It can use light ball with kyogre special attack and some of its bulk along with decent speed. Combine it drizzle and you can do insane damage
Man, all that type talk at the start and you didn't even mention Fairy Steel huh? XD it's fine tho, good video. By the way, high stats and huge power azumarill slacking is possible, you just have to make the bad one first for the ability then use a reverser for the stats.
So a reverser fixes this? I'm thinking Thick Club Marowak/Azumarill. Good type, mid stats but attack would be doubled twice so it doesn't really matter. But for the thick club to work Marowack apparently needs to be in the body slot.
Pretty sure you can even without going to Modern Mode. You can get one as soon as you have the chance to go back to Route 4 or go to Route 11 after getting a Pokeradar then capture a Nincada and evolve it.

VGC players boutta be terrified when I roll up with my Blissey X Dusclops. 183 hp, 90 def, 130 sp def mon that can use eviolite, run trick room, and can't be fake out'd
Maybe they changed it recently because it was too broken, but as far as I can tell there’s no way to get one before beating the league outside of wonder trades and stuff like that. I could be wrong, though, I mostly decided to leave Shedinja out just to make it a little more interesting
As far as i know (i finished my first playthrough like a month ago), you can find a nincada in route 5 (not sure, but still very early) with the pokeradar that the assistant gives you on the cerulean bridge. So yeah, you do have it early
If we're talking 1v1s, the best fusion would be an imposter chansey+ditto fusion with max hp and an eviolite. You'll essentially be a better copy of whatever it is you're fighting no matter how strong it is.
I think you can swap abilities to secondary abilities in this game. Or your figuring with the huge power business was off. Because I have a Azumarill head on a Rampardos body with huge power as my sweeper right now.
pfffft magnet rise what 28:08 Actually, it doesn't triple your base stats, it triples your stats themselves. this is important because it effectively also triples your IVs and EVs, making it powerful for a similar reason to Huge Power.
10:15 Rotom x Lucario with Levitate from Rotom fits this criteria actually. Dude was a beast during one of my Nuzlocke runs until I whited out during the Elite 4 at Agatha. 12:29 Also you can use a DNA reverser on a Huge Power Azumaril fusion to make sure it turns into the head while retaining the ability.
Found this game, then this video, a year later and many changes have been made. Before seeing this, I'd already fused Azumarill with Slaking and have been walking about with this beast, one-shotting trainers' mons left and right. Also, shedinja no longer limited to post-game so I've done shenanigans with that too.
Barely into this, but I remember riding on the back of my Blissey/Cofagrigus. Normal/Ghost with Blissey's HP/SpD + Cofagrigus's Def. Literally just stalled with Toxic/Will'o'Wisp. That's it. Too broken.
How to counter the ultimate lifeform (I think?): Geodude + machop Level: 1 Ability: Sturdy Moves: - Counter First attack from any powerful pokemon will reduce geochop (madude?) to 1 hp. Geochop survives to pull off counter, hopefully for the value of the attack, not hp lost. Add Sandstorm or a priority move to clean up should the opponent be down to 1hp as well. And that's how I tried to recreate F.E.A.R. Enjoy!
One of my strongest fusions I ever made was a Shedinja/Klinklang fusion: - Bug/Steel (immune to Poison, Hail, and Samdstorm) - Wonder Guard (only weakness is Fire) - Shift Gear (+2 Speed and +1 Attack) - Fury Swipes (Multi-Attacking move to combat Sturdy and Focus items) - Double Team (Evasion to help against fire weakness) - Will o’ Wisp (Combat Ghost-Type immunity for Fury Swipes)
Literally set up rain dance the turn before with a Pokémon holding a damp rock, switch to Shubarel, have him use power trick and then shell smash, preferably twice, then click surf and watch it do an insane amount of damage
Azumaril has the hidden ability sap sipper, and when paired with a ground type as the body (like garchomp) you can have a pokemon with 0 weaknesses which is pretty cool
a very cool combo i made is persian plus klinklang. persian has technician (there are better technician pokemon but idrc), boosting the damage of any move below 60 base power. klinklang has gear grind, a 50 base power move that hits twice. with technician thats a total of 150 base power, with stab thats 225 base power. you could probably mix scizor and klinklang if you wanted something better but getting a scizor is annoying and i don't have one
So, amusingly enough, Shuberel Prime's stats would actually be *higher* than that, as you only multiplied the base stats by 3, but base stats are only part of the Pokémon's actual stats, and the stat stages affect the actual stats.
In modern mode both Deino and Tentacool are available to catch on route 12. The Dark/Poison type Hydreigon and Tentacruel fusion with levitate has a psychic immunity and no weakness with a respectable 551 base stat total.
Blissey and Ditto is also immensley overpowered, if it has the hidden ability mimic, you copy the opponents pokemon immedietly, you'll have a pokemon with the same stats, but with higher hp. (Blissey has so much hp that it will probably outnumber your target's.) You could also give it an item, like leftovers (heals 1/16th of your health every turn) or choice scarf. (makes it so that you will always outspeed your target, because you have the same speed stat, at the cost of only being able to use one move).
Pokemon Inclement Emerald has simple shell smash Magcargo, which is able to sweep Flannery and a few other notable fights, but isn´t the unstoppable beast that you make Shubarel up to be, even with 1.5x the attacking power (90 base special attack).
Blissey/Doublade with Aegislah holding eviolite. Slaking/Azumarill with Aqua Jet. Let's say similar effect can stack, it will be Marowak/Azumarill. It has whooping 344 base atk with Huge Power and Marowak signature item. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Imagine one hit Aqua Jet.
My postgame minmaxxed team for this game is probably gonna look like this. 1. Smeeask (smeargle + ninjask) with either moody or speed boost 2. Rayqkle (rayquaza + shuckle) v-create, draco meteor, and dragon ascent with contrary wpuld possibly be even better the one in the video if youre looking for an all rounder 3. Absinja (absol/shedinja) with a base 103 atk and wonder guard making it only weak to fairy which is super uncommon 4. Chanmuku (Chansey + pyukumuku) with unaware holding an eviolite and max evs in defensive stats would probably be the strongest tank 5. Pikaxys (Pikachu + Deoxys) with the either the static or lightningrod ability holding a lightball bringing it up to 236 attack on top of its 130 speed 6. Arecrozma (arceus + necrozma) on top of being an incredibly good tank with prism armor if you make it go into its ultra form it has the highest bst of ANY fusion at 742 with 112 hp, 151 atk, 105 def, 136 sp atk, 112 sp def, and 126 speed
the move Power Trick (Swap Offensive snd Defensive Stats) on Shuckle is something ive always wished to see used effectively. I cant think of anything that could work amazingly well but its possible to make a Kartana 2. Also just saw Power Swap (swapping Attack and Special Attack with the opposing pokemon) - not sure how the two would interact with eachother but it would be interesting to see (if you ignore the fact it takes two move slots). Lets say Girafarig Shuckle is the mon - Power Swap with your opponent, Power Trick, and rollout and psychic because i cant think of anything else. You could also try a mon with skill swap over Power Swap but its much more situational than anything else.
Shedinja plus slaking. Wonder guard with one weakness to dark type. Hits almost every pokemon neutral as well with an attack stat of 113. He was trying for no weaknesses. I've achieved no damage, lol
They added DNA reversers, so the Azumaril+Aerodactly idea works now! Personally I like pairing with Garchop for the good water/ground typing and dragon dance. Also, As someone who has dabbled in competitive pure hackmons, I can tell you that you may reach divine power, only to have your hopes and dreams toppled byu the creation of another god. No matter what divine or unholy abamination you conceive, There exists the perfect counter, the David to your Goliath, ready to strike your Achilles heel with the perfectly placed arrow. You think you have reached divinity with your air balloon wonder guard Arceus electric, only to get sent tumbling back to earth by Mold Break Thousand Arrows. True perfection does not exist. Having said that doublade/Blissey is pretty darn good. ghost/normal typing has 1 weakness, 3 immunities, and 2 resistances. you have about as much HP as a Wobuffet and defenses better than mew on both physical and special sides. You can cure your own statuses with natural cure, your entire team with heal bell, heal yourself with softboiled, and become threatening with swords dance. You are also technically not fully evolved so you can use eviolite. Also Sylveon/Noivern and Porygon-Z/Noivern fusions. Noivern gets boomburst, a 100 accuracy 140 base power special normal move with no drawback. That is Hyper Beam with 10 power traded for accuracy and no recharge turn. Porygon-Z give it adaptability STAB and Sylveon gives it Pixelate STAB.
10 minutes in and we're just meandering about with jokes and nonsense...just get to the point already. >.> With the way you were setting things up, I was already hovering over the Subscribe button...but with all of this....I'm just hitting the search bar again.
My favourite fusion is definitely blissey dusknoir, one weakness to dark, 3 immunities and 2 resistances, really good hp with decent defense and recovery moves, access to will o wisp and hex, which is 135 base power when you get a burn with will o wisp, and then you can go curse and then use soft boiled to get back to full hp or since its so slow you can get 100 bp payback
I know it's late. That vid was uploaded long time ago, but It is possible get a Slaking/Azumarill with Huge Power. DNA Reversers are magic. Moreover. One of his custom sprites is Cosmic Cat Doraemon. Edit: I dont read comments, sorry😅
I don’t think it’s technically in the game, since I commissioned it and didn’t make it myself I left it up to the artist if they wanted to submit it or not. Not sure if they ever did
I actually did know about that, but that seems more like a bug than a feature to me, and I was worried they might eventually patch it and make the video useless after a certain point
@TheChiptide What's also interesting is that if you fused a charizard with blastoise and it had flare blitz and hurricane, if you unfused it, fused blastoise and nidoking together, you can have it learn flare blitz and hurricane from the move reminder. The pokemon fusion jank has no bounds!
@@TheChiptide also I have been making the reverse so Gigalith shedinja , with slow start. Witch will make it go seconed and it will not survive a single hit (restricted to fully evolved Pokémon) and that led me to this video and introduced me to your channel
I understand your point however I raise you no guard, fissure dugtrio and Doublade. It eats shuckle + bibarel for breakfast. Laparas + doublade would really kill everything because fissure can’t hit flying types and Laparas gets fissure and sheer cold but I went dugtrio for more speed.

120+ Attack Light Ball Pikachu vs. 252 HP 252+ Def Shubarrel Volt Tacke 100% to 119.1%. A Pikachu without maxxed attack can kill Shubarrel in a Singular Volt Tackle assuming both mons are level 50. What I believe to be a VERY powerful, maybe even the most powerful defensive Fusion is Blissey + Duoblade: 189 HP, 103 Defense, 106 Special Defence, can be boosted by Eviolite, Normal Ghost Typing, Spectral Thief as a Tutor move to steal stat changes, Soft Boil to heal back up, Healer to have a 30% chance to cure status at the end of each turn or Natural Cure to cure status when you switch out, Toxic, Seismic Toss or Will-o-Wisp as consistent damage that isn't tied to your attacking stats. This eats Hits like no tomorrow. At max defense it can with an 81.2% chance not get OHKO'd by Banded Huge Power Hyperspace Fury from a Medicham + Hoopa U fusion with 126 Base attack which results in an effective base attack of 300 if I didn't mess up the calculation because 2x base attack =/= 2x resulting attack (regular Azumarill goes from 50 to 150 attack if we calc in Huge Power)

One of my strongest fusions I ever made was a Shedinja/Klinklang fusion:
- Bug/Steel (immune to Poison, Hail, and Samdstorm)
- Wonder Guard (only weakness is Fire)
- Shift Gear (+2 Speed and +1 Attack)
- Fury Swipes (Multi-Attacking move to combat Sturdy and Focus items)
- Double Team (Evasion to help against fire weakness)
- Will o’ Wisp (Combat Ghost-Type immunity for Fury Swipes)
I feel like they didn't have Bronzon because they knew how powerful it was.
Shedinja is available pretty early on in the route west of cerulean city with the pokeradar which you can get from the professer in cerulean
Can still be 1 hit by dragon rage, I think it's what it's called
Literally set up rain dance the turn before with a Pokémon holding a damp rock, switch to Shubarel, have him use power trick and then shell smash, preferably twice, then click surf and watch it do an insane amount of damage
azumarill+slaking, just slaking with huge power, i dont think i need to say more
yeah the last one? sac 1 pokemon for toxic
then use the shell bell aron....(endevaur) done it's dead....
Azumaril has the hidden ability sap sipper, and when paired with a ground type as the body (like garchomp) you can have a pokemon with 0 weaknesses which is pretty cool
Ooh, I hadn't thought of that, but that's a pretty good one too!
a very cool combo i made is persian plus klinklang. persian has technician (there are better technician pokemon but idrc), boosting the damage of any move below 60 base power. klinklang has gear grind, a 50 base power move that hits twice. with technician thats a total of 150 base power, with stab thats 225 base power.
you could probably mix scizor and klinklang if you wanted something better but getting a scizor is annoying and i don't have one
So, amusingly enough, Shuberel Prime's stats would actually be *higher* than that, as you only multiplied the base stats by 3, but base stats are only part of the Pokémon's actual stats, and the stat stages affect the actual stats.
Why go for one weakness when you can go for no weakness? If you have a Poison and Dark type with levitate, it has no weaknesses!
no need to check, the only options for that are either weezing or haunter (no gengar) and some dark type.
In modern mode both Deino and Tentacool are available to catch on route 12. The Dark/Poison type Hydreigon and Tentacruel fusion with levitate has a psychic immunity and no weakness with a respectable 551 base stat total.
You can get Shedinja by getting it's pre evolution and evolving it, its like in one of the first routes
If you need a steel/flying type, Metagross + Dragonite is stupidly OP
Can we get a link to the Shubarel sprite so we can insert it into the game?
It's not really my sprite to give, you'd need to get permission from RetroNC who designed it. His link is in the description!
Magcargo is Fire/Rock type
Blissey/Doublade with Aegislah holding eviolite.
Slaking/Azumarill with Aqua Jet.
Let's say similar effect can stack, it will be Marowak/Azumarill. It has whooping 344 base atk with Huge Power and Marowak signature item. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Imagine one hit Aqua Jet.
I soloed the entire game with 1 single pokemon.
My postgame minmaxxed team for this game is probably gonna look like this.
1. Smeeask (smeargle + ninjask) with either moody or speed boost
2. Rayqkle (rayquaza + shuckle) v-create, draco meteor, and dragon ascent with contrary wpuld possibly be even better the one in the video if youre looking for an all rounder
3. Absinja (absol/shedinja) with a base 103 atk and wonder guard making it only weak to fairy which is super uncommon
4. Chanmuku (Chansey + pyukumuku) with unaware holding an eviolite and max evs in defensive stats would probably be the strongest tank
5. Pikaxys (Pikachu + Deoxys) with the either the static or lightningrod ability holding a lightball bringing it up to 236 attack on top of its 130 speed
6. Arecrozma (arceus + necrozma) on top of being an incredibly good tank with prism armor if you make it go into its ultra form it has the highest bst of ANY fusion at 742 with 112 hp, 151 atk, 105 def, 136 sp atk, 112 sp def, and 126 speed
this is one of my mvp's during my first modern playthroigh. completely accidental... i'll rename him jesus after this discovery :o
the move Power Trick (Swap Offensive snd Defensive Stats) on Shuckle is something ive always wished to see used effectively.
You could also try a mon with skill swap over Power Swap but its much more situational than anything else.
that transition to the ability simple was genius
venuslash(venusaur and sandslash) can learn rollout. rollout carried me through the whole game.
Thanks!
What's the move set
first video i've seen, and might I just say that the brian david gilbert vibes are strong
Bronzong stock going upafter this
I know it's late. That vid was uploaded long time ago, but It is possible get a Slaking/Azumarill with Huge Power. DNA Reversers are magic. Moreover. One of his custom sprites is Cosmic Cat Doraemon.
Edit: I dont read comments, sorry😅
This man is the definition of “Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game", and I mean that as high praise.
Real talk, for me trying to find all these different cool and weird combos WAS the game!
Is that sprite for shuckle/bibarrel useable?
I don’t think it’s technically in the game, since I commissioned it and didn’t make it myself I left it up to the artist if they wanted to submit it or not. Not sure if they ever did
Can you ask them? I really like that sprite way more lol
you actually can slap huge power on anything. just use a dna reverser. that swaps everything the ability.
Great video, keep it up
5:09 literally my best pokemon xD
You actually can get shedinja by using the pokeradar after the 2nd gym and get it in i think viridian forest somewhere.
When you fuse a pokemon, you keep its ability after reversing it. You can have a huge power azumaril/slaking fusion.
I get its kind of a bit but if electross is in the game it coulde be your levitate for steel/electrick
I don’t think it is, unfortunately
@@TheChiptide also I have been making the reverse so Gigalith shedinja , with slow start. Witch will make it go seconed and it will not survive a single hit (restricted to fully evolved Pokémon) and that led me to this video and introduced me to your channel
I understand your point however I raise you no guard, fissure dugtrio and Doublade. It eats shuckle + bibarel for breakfast. Laparas + doublade would really kill everything because fissure can’t hit flying types and Laparas gets fissure and sheer cold but I went dugtrio for more speed.
If legendarys were incuded mabye by a randomizer groundon fused with Rayquaza having heat crash and earth power is unstoppable as for typing its ground flying and for some reason it has an amazing attack stat
Man must of forgot electross has levitate
Please contribute that sprite to the game :)
It’s really up to the artist who made it, it’s not really my sprite to submit, but it’d be hilarious if it was in there!
I think slaking and shuckle would be awesome
Gengar/Empoleon. Steel/Ghost with levitate. 4 immunities.
