It's out of this world, literally. I remember hearing Sho in Japan and it would transport me beyond this earthly plane of existence. It's that one instrument I would love to learn one day.
Oh. It's so beautiful. When the initial 'dissonant' harmonies came in, my breath was taken away. Then when the arpeggios started at 2:00, I was completely stunned. My only exposure to the Sho was though the work of Stephan Micus. I once held one at House Of Musical Traditions in Tacoma Park Md. Now I know that I must own one and make my own music with it. Wonderful performance, mouth organs really are amazing instruments
