SINNDAR and Johnny Murtagh get the better of a battle with Sakhee to win the Derby at Epsom in 2000

Sinndar, the champion three-year-old colt of the year, supplied John Oxx with his first Derby success here before going on to win the Irish Derby and the Arc de Triomphe later in the season.
Among the best horses he produced as a stallion was three-times Arc runner-up Youmzain. He died in 2018 having been retired from stud duties the year before.

I remember people crabbed this Derby straighr afterwards but both the first two horses went on to win Arcs.The third won the Arlington Million too.Pretty decent.

And sakhee gave his best in breeders cup classic also. Only time i ever bet against sakhee was in coral eclipse with giants causeway one of the toughest son of a guns around that year

Shakee showed as a 4 year old how good he was, but he couldn't top Sindaar at 3.
Unbelievable racehorse.
But J.Oxx had a better one to come.....sea the stars
