@@dragonling I’ve done a few chains with dowels. Just bought the Lazee Daisy (sp) and your video helped me through it. I’ve now subscribed. Thanks James!
I find my wire knit is to tight.. i like a more fluid chain..and as.much as I love a double knit..it is impossible to wear as it doesn't move! What can I do?
Hi Claire! thanks for the comment. The easiest way to get some fluididty to the chain is once it has been reduced to the size you like, work it by bending it gently back and forth and rotating the chain, this will loosen up the links a little and allow it to drape better. I hope this helps! ~James
James, thanks for making this viking knit tutorial. Your rows & loops are so uniform. I get so frustrated, my brows start out nice & uniform. Whenever I have to change wire, somehow I lose from 6 rows to 5 rows. My loops also get bigger the further I keep going. What do you suggest? It might be something to do with being 60 yrs of age. By the way, I like your semi-colon tattoo. I think of my life as a semi-colon. Thank you.💜
Hi Terri! Firstly, thank you for watching! Before i started using this tool, I had to get better at working on a dowel, so practicing helped. I find that using the Lazee Daizee makes it much easier to keep your rows straight because of the ridges to work on. It will also help keep you at six loops. The other tip i would say is to count your loops on the first row when you add your wire. That way you know you will have 6 loops. PS, Thank you for noticing my Semi-colon. :)
All this is new tome and new - thank you it is fascinating!!!
Great video, easy to understand, I cant wait to get my tools and draw board. Thank you.Stay safe and well.
Hi Deby! Thanks for watching! ~James

@@kate4121 you are so welcome, i love the Lazee Daizee!
I feel so stupid for not figuring this out before! I usually use the half inch tool, because I had such a rough time with the small one, thank you!
I am happy to help! we will be carrying the 1/2 in tool soon so i will be playing with that one as well! ~James
How do you keep from hurting your thumb and fingers with the wire while pressing. Thanks
How do you join the ends to make a ring?
