My dad adopted a 3 year old Jack Russell from our local shelter. She was his best friend, and when he passed away I brought her home with me and my 2 cats. After a few pops on her nose she learned to respect the cats and they actually became good friends! I was lucky enough to have her until she was 17 years 2 months. Miss that little girl who loved to play, nap beside me in my chair, slept in my bed every night, and loved car rides 💔🐾🐾
Lost mine yesterday, I just can't stop crying I miss him a lot, the pain is beyond this world. He is the best dog I have ever had. I am just waiting for time to heal me
Best way to feel better about your loss is to get yourself another best friend. I also have a Jack Russell, I love her more than I can say. Sorry about your loss : ( Los Angeles
Love my Jack, I let him be a dog, doesn't have to do tricks for me to know how smart he is. I can't imagine my life without him. Keeps me active and amused all day( I'm retired).
All my adult life I wanted a JR. After leaving NYC (because of Crohn’s) & returning to Ky to be near family I adopted one a month later at the local shelter. By his teeth, they thought he was 2 or 3 yrs old. This April I will have had him 12 years. He has been the BEST dog I have ever had & maybe the best friend too. He’s never met a stranger, loves all people, any age. He rests a lot more now but if he sees a rabbit or squirrel he instantly becomes 2yo again. Never had a health issue. I hope he lives to be 20!!!!!
@@luluforlenza4148 we had bizhone shitzu brother and sister for 16 years. After we adopted molteeze and JR they were 12 years old. Lived to 16. I have recently adopted JR 8years old, and it is the dog if he lives up to 20 then I will be happy to go with him. The energy the Stamina, the personality they have it is out of this world. Actually, I call him an alien 👽, because he exactly looks like one in a good sense. Walk him daily on our beach for two hours, he chase the waves and his ball running 5 to 7 km, just out of this world. He is very obeying , learns quickly, loves everybody, I mean people other dogs. BUT,!!!!! He is a killer Hunter. Anything moves even Gekko on the wall he will jump up onto the wall and try to get it. Frogs are his favourite, so you have to be patient and protect him in some cases. Simply, He is a "BIG" dog 🐶 in small body. I am 67 and I have to say after my wife he is love of my life. Just get one, they best.
@@janlampert5688 Agree with everything you said. My guy is still going. I have a cat now. He’s grumpy and nips at her, lol, but she is fearless and always gets her way…which is to lick his hears and then nap next to him. He’s come around.
The best parts about my Jack Russell: Never farts, never chews on furniture or anything, never has accidents inside the house, never eats my food (even pizza or cookies on the coffee table, I helped a little but he trained himself. He is affectionate and aloof at the same time and he is very funny
They are fantastic little dogs, very intelligent, a real bundle of energy and fun. Each one has its own character. Great house dogs, best burglar alarm you can get. You May think you are training them but JRTs are so clever they can turn it around so they are training you.. I have two, and wouldn’t be without them or have another breed.
Adopted my Jack almost two years ago. Crazy as a loon but he's so awesome!! Definitely not a dog for everyone. But with obedience and bonding he is my fishing buddy, hiking companion and all around house clown. Love him to pieces!!
We got one when our 4 children were young, 1 jack = 4 children on the energy scale. She grew up with them over 15 years before passing. Best dog a family could ever have.
My Jack Russel is a bastard ... he chews on everything, he destoyed our garden and he just climbs on every pice of furniture we have, even TV stand or the dining table...but he is still my best buddy :D
Jrt are so smart, we didn't even train ours to walk of lead yet he still does, I guess he just lives us to much to run away, they're the best dogs without reasons.
I'll never have any other dog! Jack Russells are the very best!!! ❤️❤️❤️ My JR, Millie, can't do most of what these incredible dogs can do, but she's never a dull moment and always makes me laugh! ❤️
I had 7 Jack Russell Terriers. They gave me so much joy, love, laughter & made my home so happy. Loved tennis balls & playing outside. There’s No Dogs As Smart or as Funny as These Babies. Watch out for a basketball though cuz they’ll hunt it down all over the house & outside until they “killed” the basketball in a heated frenzy to make sure they peeled off every late and bit that basketball deflating it completely. They Adore swimming & I’d throw tennis balls in middle of my tiny pool so each could try to get it first. All in Heaven now but their love & Funny Memories live in my heart as my Favorite years. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I took mine to an off leash dog park for 2 hours every day and supplemented by throwing a ball downstairs at night. She honestly never gave me a day of trouble. To me, they’re the greatest, most spirited, funniest dogs ever ❤️🐾🐾
My Jack AJ is one of the best hunting dog I have seen. Smart, fast, agile and fearless. He tried to take on a beaver just the other day. Good thing he was faster then the beaver. He knew he would get his ass kicked but he just couldn’t leave it alone. 😉
My JRT (Casey) is 12 and is still going strong. She is very well behaved and knows every move I make. She practically tries to talk to me. I seriously can't get much by her. In fact she taps in her dish at 4:00 PM to remind me it's time to feed her. Sometimes it might be 3:57 or 4:02 but it's crazy how good she is at telling her feeding time....
These JRT vids make me miss our Bailey so much! She lived to be 17 years 10 months old. We lost her in May of 2018. I have a few nice videos of her! Thanks for sharing!

I love my Jack Russel (Zoey) and cherish the time I have with her, I have the biggest fear and get anxious when I think about not having my JRT in my life, she was the greatest gift I have ever been given
I know the feeling, after my little JRT (Ratt) got diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor 6 months ago i was anxious and slipping into despair everyday, going to different specialists and frantically searching the net for a cure, hoping for a miracle refusing to give up on him. He fought hard and went down swinging, i lost him just over a day ago now, i could never imagine it could hurt the same as loosing my little brother a few years back. If i could pick between being a super rich millionaire and having him back it would be a no brainer, they really are the greatest gifts we can receive.
I have a JR mix, he was roaming the streets hungry, skinny and small. 😞 a good friend of mine’s husband found him and got him to go in the house with him and gave him some milk and some food. After that this little guy is so smart he waited for him outside of their house or on the corner and would follow him home to get more food!. Of course he fell in love but they had just gotten a boxer puppy and they had a full grown boxer as well. They wanted to keep him badly but they noticed how rough they all played they feared the little guy being so small he would get seriously hurt. So she posted it on Facebook asked if anyone would take him because the flyers she put up around the neighborhood with his picture and her phone number didn’t work no one claimed him. So I did! And it was the best decision of my life!!.. I found out he’s half Jack he looks like a jack and Pom mix. I miss him
Samantha*Aubuchon, ahahaaha mine took my pizza out my hand. They are amazing high energy pups that can learn anytg if you have the patience and right motivation. Mine will do anytg for snacks even take a bath
Best dogs ever. Rescued two Jacks six months ago. One is a Parson's the other short legged. Ted is the Parson's and super laid back, easy to train and super well behaved, Buster the little one is the opposite, super independent and just wants to play ball all day long. You'll never meet two more different dogs, despite being the same breed.
Andrew Young : I lost my jack Russell terrier at 17 years on December 16, 2019 also in Sherman Oaks California he died at the Beverly Oaks Veterinary hospital! I had him for 17 years! Since he was a puppy! I’ll never get over it RIP Jackie we’ll love you forever! Will meet again on the rainbow bridge!
My Jack is named Milo from the Mask, and he is one great little hunter. Also very protective and loves to swim, he also thinks he is a big dog and almost never plays with other small dogs only the big ones xD Surely alot of work to train, but these dogs are just amazing!
I've owned a lot of dogs in my lifetime but this jack I got last year...first ever jack and I have never been so attached to a dog. She is truly my best friend and goes everywhere with me. I hope I go before she does I don't think I could handle losing her.
@@RickMartinUA-cam oh mine barks a lot..at everything...so it's probably not the breed for you if that's a problem. They are a handful and require a lot of attention and exercise.
Sixstring1966 : I agree I had my English Jack for 17 years he left me last December 16! I’ll never forget Him, I’ll always love my little Jack. He’s playing with God now! God knows a good Jack Russell!
Yep JRTs are light years ahead of any breed. I'm on my third in over 28 years of being owned by one. She's still a puppy, (9mos). Her first name is Topsy, last name Dammit ! All have been incredible mtn biking partners, ready for more even after tough 2hr rides. Of all their amazing feats Dot, my last seemed to have a photographic memory. With over 80 miles of single track in the national forest I ride a lot of different loops where numerous forks and side trails lead off from my usual course. Even on a loop we rode once years ago she would run ahead of me and chose the right turn at every fork. Explain that ! How can I train my puppy to walk on her front legs ?! Best trick in the video.
My little jack russell is very cute. She always gives me her paw and gives me high five when i ask her to do so. Must admit though she can be clumsy and energetic sometimes like me actually with the clumsiness lol
I have a little Jack Russel named Sid,and he's so eager to please! He's got some health problems, but he's always so happy...He got lyme disease back when his original owner gave him to someone who didn't take very good care of him,and since then he's been getting bald spots all over his body. (Not a symptom of lyme disease as far as vets have told me) He doesn't have as much energy as a dog of his breed should, but he's been cheerful and happy since day one. He sneezes as a form of communication, and makes strings of weird growl-barks that I'm sure he perceives as perfect english. He has the most adorable addiction to poptarts, too. Whenever he hears the sound the plastic makes, and he sees how shiny it is,he runs to our chair where I sit to give him the edges. Jack Russell Terriers are the best! >w< Edit: Guys, this was a good while ago. He's passed away since then; He wasn't a young dog when I got him and the lyme disease took him. On his last day, he still found the energy for one last run, and he still tried to force himself to sit up so as not to worry me when the injection was taking effect. Thank you for your helpful comments though!
AtomicBunnytron have you had Sid skin parch tested for a particular mite. I forget what it is called but my JRT XWhippet developed bald patches so when he was sterilised the vet did a skin scraping and found he had an collection of skin mites which live just below the skins surface.
These dogs are by far the best breed for protection, friendship, durability, cleanliness, and for a long time at that, few hospital visits, and weigh under the lower fees of vets, food lasts a while, poops are like larger tootsie rolls, and really just a smart little pit bull,,,, I have six, breed on occasion, and will be the end of me long after i'm gone , Jack Russel's for life, and I hear that they are great therapeutic dogs and learn to help the elderly in many ways, and this video shows the potential,,,,I was trying to replace the Dalmatian to jacks for fire dogs,,,,the white with spots are cool, but the Jacks could probably learn to drive the fire truck!!!! thanks for the video
Joseph Ornelas - being disabled myself, I noticed that too. They would make great assistance dogs, and I can attest to mine being VERY therapeutic. He also encourages me to be as active as I can. I can always manage to throw the ball to him. He would do that for hours if I had it in me.
Absolutely Love, Love, Love The Jack Russell Breed, Had my Megabyte 16 years and on my 2nd one Cricket 2 years now. OMG Can they Demand Attention and Entertain you almost non-stop. Wouldn't have any other. He would play dead if you pointed Your finger at him and said "BANG", Rollover, Sit, Shake, Wave By, Turn Around, Tree Squirrel, Raccoon, Possum, Chase Cats that would Run From Him, He didn't know what to do with the ones that wouldn't, and Attack BIG DOGS!!!. He was the BIG DOG in his eyes. What's Not to Love, Oh Yea and they make my Wife Jealous of them, lol.
I have had six jacks. I have three right now. They are full of energy and so much fun. They will out smart you at times. I couldn't think of having any other dog for me. They love being in a pack. Don't hear much about that part of a Jack.
They are one of the breeds that will pack maul one of their own pack to death. I have had up to six and at time and had major aggression problems with a couple of them. It's not fun or easy to deal with. I have four now ( and one I have crate whenever I leave because of it) but would never have more than two again.
Moi, j'ai un Jack Russel qui a 15 ans depuis quelques mois... Il est toujours en bonne forme ; et je l'entraîne à rester "éternel" tellement je l'adore !...
I have a 1 year old Parson, She has the energy and drive to play and be stimulated but she will only bark to alert me. Never any other time. Ive had dogs all my life and I had never come across one that rarely barks. As for chewing she has access to bones. If you are having problems with your dog chewing or digging. Bury some bones in a spot you dont mind her digging in. She will always go to that spot to chew or dig. Just a friendly tip for yas :)
My mums little Kim only barks for serious things like people in distress or strangers in garden or sneezes if she loves them. I am doggy watching her again .She amazes me a very intellegnt wee thing apart from taking the piss out of mum .
My Jack is almost 2 he never barks or ever had any accidents in the house. He never needs a leash and loves me so much he is eager to please. Jack Russells are amazing dogs. There personality is like no other.

I had a JR he was called barnie after barnie from the Simpsons.he never fetched or brought back anything you threw (he did it once and that was it),he bounced footballs with his nose and celebrated just about everything if you made a big deal about it.he was an amazing companion and furry friend. I miss him
Tenhle pejsek je neuvěřitelný.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🇨🇿
They are the BEST such characters & unbelievably clever💯💞
Birdie is my JRT. He is a courteous, intelligent, loyal, fearless and helpful doggie. He takes his 'Best Friend ' responsibility seriously
Jack Russells are awesome. They can communicate with people.
Bob Shepherd
Bob Shepherd Indeed they can! Better than any breed.
Just love Jack Russell's, they're really clever n sweet natured too.
My Eddie is 12 years old now. He's so smart, loving & loyal.
The best thing happened to me is I have JR life is full of joy and I can't live without one.
I love my Aussie/ Jack Russel.. so much fun
My jack russell is 13 years old, he is still so hyper, hey one time he took a sandwhich out of my mouth
Samantha*Aubuchon is he still alive? Cause they get like 14 15 years old
Jack Russells do quite well, my parents' jack Russel cross is 17 next year
Lol. Our dog took a sandwhich off my dads knee one time. It was the first time i ever heard my dad curse.
And the dog never did it again.
Samantha*Aubuchon, ahahaaha mine took my pizza out my hand. They are amazing high energy pups that can learn anytg if you have the patience and right motivation. Mine will do anytg for snacks even take a bath
Lying bitch
U just want thumbs up in comments
On my 3rd one and true to form, a total powder keg of energy. Great doggies, true and loyal and best breed in my book 👍🐶
My Jack was scary smart, but NOTHING like this cutie!!
The last dog is obviously a trained dog, very clever little dog.
I hope my Belle looks that nice when she is grown.
She's really smart for 10 weeks old
i had my j r for 17 yrs lost her to old age, best friend, companion ever had
Andrew Young :
I lost my jack Russell terrier at 17 years on December 16, 2019 also in Sherman Oaks California he died at the Beverly Oaks Veterinary hospital! I had him for 17 years! Since he was a puppy! I’ll never get over it RIP Jackie we’ll love you forever! Will meet again on the rainbow bridge!
Me encantan !! mi jack russell tiene 2 años y se llama Milo, es super inteligente, dinamico, hermoso. ❤
This little jack Russell is amazingness!!!! Hats of to the individual/individuals that have trained it. :)
I live my Chester ❤️ Great clips! “Chester we need more training buddy!” Love you just the way you are Chester ✅❤️👏😍🥰♥️😀
My friend Miss Fit knows all her toys by name and will generally fetch them for you when you ask where they are! Such a Sweetie, too!
My Jack is named Milo from the Mask, and he is one great little hunter.
Also very protective and loves to swim, he also thinks he is a big dog and almost never plays with other small dogs only the big ones xD
Surely alot of work to train, but these dogs are just amazing!
I named my dog milo, for the exact same reason. XD
Is Milo of the mask still alive? Pls add photos
My jack russel is name Milo too. Lol
I just got my puppy he has only been barking to alert me too, love this video🐶😃
My Rocky... best dog on earth... never a dull moment!
Why won't my Jack russell clean my house? 😆
What an inspiration! My Rumi is 9 months old, the vet says I need to give him jobs, now I get it!
Thanks you!
The best dog know to man kind. IMO
Sixstring1966 : I agree I had my English Jack for 17 years he left me last December 16! I’ll never forget Him, I’ll always love my little Jack. He’s playing with God now! God knows a good Jack Russell!
I'm getting a jack Russell terrier pup on Saturday and wow that dog is amazing 😉 I hope my dog can do that when he's older 🐶
My Daughter has a Jack Russel, & Bella is so smart! Very hyper & loving too..
Mollie White-Evans n
My little jack russell is very cute. She always gives me her paw and gives me high five when i ask her to do so. Must admit though she can be clumsy and energetic sometimes like me actually with the clumsiness lol
I love Jack Russell's I have one her name is sassy she is 7 years old she is so sweet I love her
I have a little Jack Russel named Sid,and he's so eager to please!
Jack Russell Terriers are the best! >w<
Edit: Guys, this was a good while ago.
Currently doing my best with second one; after 14yrs with first. Cool dogs, as the one surfing proves. Fun driving partners also. 💖🐾
Get him some fresh organ meat, instead of commercial food. He will improve dramatically.
I love the terrier nature, fun loving with a big naughty side. My EBT Gets so excited he go's on a bully run and bounces off the walls.
Jacks and lab,two my favourite dogs.
They could drive the trurcks. At least for training .
A difficult but rewarding dog
Jessie the Jack Russell is such a beautiful animal
Great video , ✓music
The dog is the star
Definitely out in their own
Complete characters
I'm watching this while my jack russell is eating..🤣🤣🤣
The jack russell that does the cleaning up n stuff he's really handy in fact he's better than my ex-bird was.
I've got a Jr 9yrs old she is the best she even gave us two beautiful babies 3 years ago
I got mine as a puppy a couple months ago they have so much character
My bestfreind. Animals are so awesome. I love my jacky
JR's are the best dog's they are just so loving and funny, everyday i laugh at mine. She is also all dark tan like the first JRT where.

Thanks 🙏
I so agree! I'm proud to say I have one of my own amazing dog the best breed IMO🐶❤❤
Forget all the little party tricks! Jack Russell terrier are awesome dogs. A bit daft, but that adds to their character 🐶
wow i think the trainer needs a reward
shetup doodle the cow
Agree. She does get to spend all her time with her little JRT chap though. That's a pretty sweet reward.
He is so need ! Ja.🐶😂❤️
Cool jazz!!
Moi, j'ai un Jack Russel qui a 15 ans depuis quelques mois... Il est toujours en bonne forme ; et je l'entraîne à rester "éternel" tellement je l'adore !...
Some of these videos show Heather's awesome JRT named Jesse performing his wonderful antics.
Nikoletta P i have a 12 yr old parson
Tara Production's I had one for 18 years best dog ever
aprildevost1 ....Unarguably my favourite dog, and I have never had a dog I didn't love.
