    FALL FROM GRACE
The Land of Shadow. A place obscured by the Erdtree.
Where the goddess Marika first set foot.
A land purged in an unsung battle.
    Set ablaze by Messmer’s flame.
It was to this land that Miquella departed.
Divesting himself of his flesh, his strength, his lineage.
    Of all things Golden.
And now Miquella awaits the return of his promised Lord.
    Character Information
    Background / Motivation
_An older, classical knight. A Golden Order Fundamentalist who worships the Erdtree.
One of the earliest followers of Miguella. Believing that Miquella would be the future of The Lands Between.
Branded an Heretical Prophet, banished from The Lands Between after a vision where he saw fire and Miquella walking away from the Gorden Order. A vision he never believed could be real.
He continued bringing kindness to those who needed it outside of The Lands Between, just as Miquella would have done. Always hoping that he would one day find his Grace and set his eyes on the Erdtree again.
Now, he finds himself back in The Lands Between in search of answers. No longer recognizing the land where he was born and raised. What has happened to his beloved homeland? What happened to Miquella? Did he really betray the Golden Order as seen in his vision?_

The Jolan fight was possibly the funniest thing I've watched this week.
The elegant and deadly Swordhand of Night, wielding a blade of the bottomless black that devours both light and life alike. She is the nightmare that the lightless void can't even aspire to hold within and death is a matter of course for those who cross her path.
On the other hand there is seemingly a garden gnome impersonator, barefoot and still panting from the surprisingly close altercation with, maybe not giant but definitely really big dragonfly. Like, at least the size of a dachshund dog. During the fight he gets hopelessly tangled in brambles that he himself conjured into existence. In one hand he wields a giant iguana, holding it by its tail and swinging wildly. In the other a pair of reproductory organs of an eldritch horror that he killed earlier, which he utilizes to summon the aforementioned brambles.
I love your playthrough and the moments when the game stops throwing unnecessary obstacles in your way and you start enjoying yourself are always fun.

Dang, that was a great fight! Glad you noticed that there was an upper floor to the tower and you weren't running around too long trying to figurr it out!

"Whoops... Lemme try that again..." was a line in my favorite game growing up called "Full Throttle" when your character dies in a timed puzzle at the end of the game.
It's a Lucas Arts / Tim Schaffer game from '98 and I HIGHLY recommend it!
I'll warn you that it as a few of those unfair puzzles you won't like, and it has some of the classic "pixel hunting" problems of a lot of the point-and-click games of that era, but it also has a pretty recent remaster too, and the story and sound track kick some serious tail.

Blue, you can alter Ymir's robes, and that gets you more lore.
Metyr's lore gives new perspective to the actions of the Two Fingers in the base game, as it's been revealed that they weren't following the Greater Will's desires, but rather Metyr's, who had lost contact with the Greater Will, which explains why the fingers stop moving once you're prevented from entering the Erdtree. Metyr genuinely has no idea what to do next.
The Count's dialogue also suggests that Marika was, at first following Metyr's instructions, and only later, after she got to the Erdtree, did she met the new emissary of the Greater Will, the Elden Beast, the influence of which she resented.

Ohh, that's really interesting. You're absolutely right. The Two Fingers were flying blindly.
      I did alter the robes. I wish I hadn't.

You had a really good idea towards the end of this episode. Try it again after looking into shreyas7202’s hint. I think you’d try it again on your own without me pointing it out, but then again, you could forget about it.

I was watching him run in, going don't miss it, don't miss it... he missed it. Then he toys with my heart by walking back up the step, inches away from her, and he stops, admires himself, and then opens the map :D
