BREW2L MUSIC: Music For Gear Heads open.spotify.c....
That sweet sweet cam chop is music for the soul.
Agreed 👍
The cam specs are not a secret, they are all over the net: Specs for N91 Adv. dur = 307int./315ex. Dur @ .050 = 240int./248ex. Lift = .576/.576 Centerline = 105/115 Lobe sep= 110
That really sounds sweet, she is hitting the ground now. Would love to cruise that girl through town on a Saturday night and that cam hitting like it is.
I can’t wait to get it out and hit the streets one night.
@@BREW2LFOXBODY man I'd love to be with ya cruising in that beast listening to some 80's-90's music
That Anderson cam sounds amazing! Definitely better sound then previous cam... which was already good! 👍
Hot damn that car sounds amazing!
Man I could just listen at her chop all day that sounds damn good 👍🏾
Papa T said it best. Popping Popcorn 😎💯
👌
Woo,Grey ghost sounds solid!🫡
👨🔧🙏
Didn't that sound, a little like o full on, funnycar, getting into the staging lights !!!!!??? Damn that sounded sweet 😍!!?
sounds fantastic ! you gotta admit its nice to go to the front of the line at the anderson cam factory like Tony Soprano does at a resturant lol good for you !
Lmao 😎🤌
That sounds wicked! I could listen to that all day long.
She’s a BEAST Brother!!💪🏾
Thanks brother 💯💪
Gotta love that 110 lobe separation 🔊
Glad to see damage wasn't too bad.
That chop though, this thing will come alive after rear-end change and gear. Great job the 65 is turned out great, it's got all the boxes checked for a awesome hot rod plus some
Before I started watching/following you I wanted a Ford Motorsport F Cam.
When the ti.e comes, I do believe I'll be getting ahold of Anderson for one of their cams.
Oh by the way, it's wicked! Sounds freakin awesome!!!
Thanks brother! There’s nothing wrong with the F cam and it sounds pretty good imo.
I believe Crane Cams ground Ford Motorsports Cams in the 90's
I still have my 65 Mustang Fastback from high school, graduated in 1988. I put a 351w short block with AFR heads. Using the F 303 cam. 351w is a tight fight. Went with JBA Coated long tube headers. Performer RPM intake. Runs good.
Your Sounds nice, looks nice!
Thanks for sharing!
The perfect chop 🍿. Can't wait for the ride a long video
Love to see you and your sisters fastback run!!! Little roll wouldn’t hurt anyone !!
Absolutely 💯
Definitely 👍🏻
Good thing I was sitting down while watching this. *BOING*
😂👀
I like the chop 😂.
Small block ford popping away I love it.
Man that thing was chopping !!
Perfect muscle car sound! Awesome sound!
Sounds killer my man! 🥵
Thanks
Love the way the n91 sounds
Love it brother ❤
This is awesome . Same engine setup and rear I'm doing in my 64 fairlane now I get to see how it performs before I get it done thanks. Keep up the great content
She sounds awesome 👌 👏 👍 love it
dang she sounds awesome, nice work sir
Thank you
My nephew had "the Grey Ghost" truck in the mid '90's...
Sounds rowdy!
I was like 351. That's gotta count for something...
Oh, and the car sounds great! I do wonder what rpm idle is.
Why 8.8? Isn't that a 9"?
Sounds great! Glad you got it fixed. Why not clearance the heads? Those lifters can take a long time to prime up. Thought mine were not ever going to pump up last time I did it (primed the daylights out of them too)
Well atleast no more damage than what u got n nobody got hurt.. sounds great..
It sounds great!
I too put the holes up, might not matter but i do it anyway. Lol
👌😎
She sounds like a beast, stuff always break, when you have plans to replace, 8.8 rear end w/3.73 gears
new drive shaft, she will be so nasty.
Hopefully soon!
Go with a complete Currie 9" rearend, 3.70' Tru-Trac posi. Reverse-eye springs from Global West Suspension and their Del-a-lum rear leaf spring bushings. Rear HD U-bolts and rear lower shock mounts.
You should like it, stay away from Urethane rear leaf spring bushings. They sound terrible and ride hard.
I have "been there and done that" since owning my 65 Fastback, original California car, never wrecked and no rust.
The 9" and the other parts menu are the way to go. Do it once while the rear end is out. Subframe connectors really helped too, bolt-on then welded mine on a lift. Helps to get the power down
Enjoyed your videos and just adding what I have done to mine since 1988.
Same cam thats going in my 393w😍🤤
It’s such a great sounding cam. And the street manners aren’t too bad either
@@BREW2LFOXBODY yeh it runs really well on the street
Perfect set up for the car, cam, and mufflers fit it on point! Whatcha want for the Comp cam and pushrods?
Dude, you guys can probably do a cam swap in 30 mins now. 👍
You’d think so. But I’m old and slow now 😂
Sounds awesome!! Are you at least allowed to tell the lobe separation?? Thanks for the videos!!
Oil holse on the lifters should face the outside of the block to eliminate trapping air and not pumping up never put them toward the valley side
Sounds perfect. How much vacuum is it pulling?
What is your total timing? Just curious, because I've run a very similar setup and after everything was verified ended up adding 8 degrees (42 total) of timing and that cleaned up the pistons and spark plugs. The compression was 10:5:1 and damn talking about scary sounding on a cold start
You didn't have to measure for correct pushrod length?
🥰
No matter what you drive, if it doesn't sound like Hot forTeacher when you fire it up, then what the hell are you doing, lol.
😂
What’s the full exhaust setup?
💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Ive got a 88 5.0 sbe build with factory forged trw pistons and promaxx heads and x303 cam and i done the marker trick on the valve stem and with factory pushrods "6.250"i was almost dead center so i ordered 6.3 trick flow chromoly because of the guide plates and ive got a tick i can not get rid of ,ive adjusted when not running and following the firing order, just strait up and down each bank turning 1/4 turn at a time until i get all to zero lash, ive adjusted while running and back them off until it taps and slowly work to quiet-zero and ive tried 1/4 , 1/2 ,3/4 and 1 full turn of preload. What does everyone think/recommend? Could it just be noisy roller rockers?
While it sounds good, it’s definitely NOT a good match for a 9.5:1 static compression ratio- bleeding off too much cylinder compression, but I’m sure it will run ok.
You definitely shouldn’t have any detonation issues.
It really sounds like a heard of horses galloping 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎 😅
I love it 😍
Want to sell the xe274 camshaft?
Dont see anything but a street grind, i never used anderson for power
I don’t need anything but a street cam. I want to be able to drive the cars on the street and have good manners
@@BREW2LFOXBODY it's nice to use what the heads can support, y not that's the reason we put heads n cam, I've never had a can that couldn't be tuned for manners, so far anything under .700 lift solid rollers, has been great on the street with reliability aswell, valvetrain has come so far,
Wouldn't have been that much more work to just pull the engine. Then you wouldn't have to fight anything being in your way. That's just me and my weird way of thinking.
This 26 spline input shaft and the extra weight of the TKX makes it a lot more difficult to get everything lined up correctly at least for me.
Don't go crazy on an engine build..make it a clean driver..you already have built up engines and play toys to burn tires off
This is a perfect combo in my opinion. It’s not too rowdy but sounds tuff.
