50%? That's an unreasonable split amount if you're just offering the sample sound. There's a lot more than just a "sound" that goes into a production or song. Doesn't warrant 50% at all.
Stop being ungrateful and biting the hand that feeds you. What these sample makers provide is not just "sound", but rather feeling, emotion, and art, and I think it's quite generous of them to only ask 50% when they provide the soul of a song.
