Defiant is so ingrained onto Annihilape and Kingambit in Gen 9 that if you run any other mon with it, I would forget until after I locked in something like Icy Wind.

Belly Drum would have been bad if the Dondozo was Unaware. It was probably water veil, but we wouldn't know at the time.
Dozo are 90% of the time running unaware so they'd ignore the boosts. I wasn't willing to risk it when all I needed was a 1/5 burn 😭
