    Im at the part where he's doing tbar rows and I'm just blown away by how hard-core you gotta be to keep that focus thru this many sets. This dude was Mr O for a reason.

    Jay’s videos are some of my favorite to watch. He was always so shredded.. if it wasn’t for Ronnie, Jay would have 10 Olympia wins!

      He told me that in real life when I met him

    • @R.P.E
      @R.P.E 15 днів тому +6

      On the contrary, Jay also was losing control of his waistline further into his career, which is pretty indicative if you look at the thumbnail photo. Shredded? Debatable. But that was coming at a cost with blowing out his midsection and his obliques really widened. He lost that V taper with a 40 inch waist line.

      @tydupont8084 15 днів тому +4

      @@R.P.E since when do men’s open bodybuilders have a v taper? Dorian brought about the mass monsters, and Jay was one of the better ones. Always very conditioned and huge

    • @R.P.E
      @R.P.E 15 днів тому +4

      @@tydupont8084 That’s an absurd statement. Derek Lunsford won the 2023 Mr. Olympia and Sampson Dauda won the 2024 Mr. Olympia, and Steve Weinberger (Head judge) talked about the V taper is what put them in the top three. So are you insinuating that head judges don’t judge open bodybuilders for not having a V taper? Essentially, what wins shows, is the symmetry and flow to a physique, which is controlled through the waistline.
      Jay Cutler had a 40 inch waist. And the larger his waist line grew, he tried to accentuate his V taper by making his shoulders wider. My point is, Jay’s conditioning is overshadowed by having a distended waist line that reached 40 inches, which he openly talks about being a drawback. You could be conditioned all you want in the open class, but when your waistline is out of control, that doesn’t matter anymore. (Hence Jays waistline was blurred with no V taper.)
      So yes, in terms of modern day, bodybuilding, a V taper, absolutely matters, because it’s all mutually related.

    Volume is insane when enhanced. 8 different back exercises, 5 sets each. 40 sets!

    Honestly, put these gyms' lights on the olympia stage with a blackout background and problem solved.
    Even without tan, carb and water depletion, Jay looks like he's ready to win the olympia title. Both Jay and Ronnie's gym posing physique display was phenomenal.
