Yes it may be a joke but this still offends the original version, and it may be hurtful to the original spinel va.
Like, touchwood, if I tell a person to go jump off a cliff and laugh about it, thinking it’s a joke, the other person will still feel bad about it and may actually do it. It’s a bad thing to do, and this user has to change this for their own good. Many suicide attempts start from bullying, that serves as a ‘joke’ for the bullies.
I’m not mad or salty, but I’m just saying this because if some other people who really take offense to these kinds of actions see it they might not forgive this user and will target them, resulting in cyber-bullying.

I met a girl in 2011, 6th grade in my computer class. She was quirky like me. We became best friends. We did absolutely everything together. I thought of her as family. We spent holidays together, vacations... She was my soul sister. In 2018 I was diagnosed with a neurologic disease that proceeded to almost kill me several times. I ended up tube fed and bedbound. All the sudden she was 'too busy' to talk to me or to see me, weeks would go by and I would wait for a text from her with no response. She promised it had nothing to do with me.
2 weeks ago she sent me a short text that she honestly found my body and my illness to be too awkward and it made her super uncomfortable to talk to me or look at me. She told me she never wanted to see me again.
Suddenly I have no respect for Pink Diamond. Her best friend waited 6000 years for her only to find out she'd been abandoned and she didn't even really care about her.

What angers me isn't that Pink left Spinel, it's that she never came back. Even after becoming Rose, she never brought Spinel to earth so she could live a happy life. She just threw her away, like an old toy.
That's one of the reasons I absolutely despise Pink/Rose. She was fickle, petty, irresponsible and hot tempered. But it's totally okay because she ran away from all her problems to have a kid with some human with no regard for what the demons of her past would do to said kid.
The original made me tear up but this cover made me cry a river. It was so beautifully done 💗😭
