I´m from Germany and that was the first Superbowl I ever watched. Since then, I´m supporting the Saints. Great video about a touching story. I´ll never forget that night.
I'm French and I'm a Saints fan, and even if I was young and far away from New-Orleans when Katrina happened, this superbowl is for me one of the most important moment in the sport history. It's probably the best exemple for how great the sport can be. And your video show it perfectly.
This is a new video created about a topic I covered when the channel first debuted. I was pressed for time this week so I chose to cover something I could complete for you by Friday and was superbowl related. I'll post something longer next week and cover the Superbowl in some way after the big game.
i legit cried through this whole video. My name (Nolan) literally means New Orleans LA Native. I live in FL & watched the devastation on my tv. The Saints are the heart & soul of the city, at least in my mind. Thank you for this.
Love my city! It was a movie that night, when we won u can literally hear people on the streets screaming and honking their horns celebrating the whole night, even went to bourbon street it was magical! Will never forget it and love our Saints ! Great edit btw
I am from here and it still makes me cry. I have a niece named Harper and a Nephew named Porter after these boys! They really helped us make it through!!! WHO DAT!!!!
I’ll love the Saints until the end of time.I don’t think there will ever again be a team that meant so damn much to their fans. We needed them, in our darkest hour, and they delivered. ⚜️🏈⚜️Nice video 👍
seriously got a few tears in the eyes. I was young but I remember this ruined a lot of peoples lives. Somehow, football brought that city back together
Wow. As a long time saints fan this honestly brought a tear to my eye. Such a great team and a great time for us fans. That team brought that city back after that terrible terrible event.
Wonderful video once again. Very uplifting and a remembrance of the storm and the destruction, but most of all, the Super Bowl that changed everything and gave all of New Orleans hope. Love these videos and love this channel
I remember we welcomed evacuees into Houston when Katrina hit. I was just a little boy and I knew it was a bad time... I didn't how horrible it was at the time. I hoped things would be better for the city or New Orleans, even so when I put my loyalty for the Texans aside for the Saints during the Super Bowl and felt happy for a lot of my friends who evacuated from NO and now call Houston home but cheer for the Saints all their lives. It was only last year I truly knew how they felt. After the Astros won the World Series after Hurricane Harvey, I felt so much emotion, I could barely contain myself. The same pride and spirit that lifted me and many Houstonians by the Astros was the same way the Saints lifted the spirits of the people of New Orleans. It brought us all together after devastating storms and when it all seemed lost, beacons of light shined through the darkness and hope was restored forevermore.
I lost it all to Katrina. Lived in Biloxi. Came to the Superdome that day for a free concert outside the dome by the Goo Goo Dolls. Shots of that and our home on my page. Thanks for this. ❤
Beautiful video, as a saints fan and have family and from New Orleans this really touched me and gave me the chills cause how much this game meant for me and the community and brought us all together, keep up the good work
Been a Saints fan my entire life and still gives me chills when I see that interception. We have one of the best and loyal fan bases in the entire NFL. #whodat
I was still very young maybe a year or two and I some what remember my parents watching this and them crying we went through hurricane Rita but seeing this to them ment a lot
I love this team so goddamn much man. If there was one word I had to describe New Orleans, it would be perseverance. We went through so much turmoil, so much pain. We never gave up and came back even stronger from it. Yeah I was a kid at the time and I'm not from New Orleans (I am from Louisiana though), but it still hits hard. It's so emotional and I'm so proud of this team, of this city, and of this state.
Although my profile picture may give me a rather young appearance, trust me I've aged since that picture was taken. Anyway my point is I was born and raised in New Orleans and I'm still currently living in New Orleans and I remember having to evacuate the storm and then my family came back to our house for some Necessities before heading back to our evacuation place and on the way back to the house seeing the Superdome roof torn to bits and everything surrounded by water is made me cry all the way home. Then watching the "domecoming" game on TV, seeing that punt blocked just made me burst into tears. And that was the exact same reaction I had on Tracy Porter intercepted that football. And then as Drew Brees held up that Lombardi Trophy, I felt the biggest sense of Pride and Joy I've ever felt. You as an artist in captivated the emotions of my city in the most perfect way and I couldn't thank you enough for this
I'm a Vikings fan. I don't like the Saints at all really. Specifically from the NFCCG that year. But man, was that whole situation incredible. Gave me chills. Great video.
@@georgeworshington4120 So that's why you were talking shit trying to say the Saints were cheating in the other comment. You're a salty colts fan, mad that Brees and the Saints made y'all look foolish on the biggest stage in football. And now Drew Brees has destroyed Manning's record for all time passing yards and will break his all time completion record later this year or next.
Do one of these but featuring all the rookies. (By that I mean first and second rounders that made a good play) (also players like tyreek hill that were late round that were good)
