Note
It is not necessary to remove the bolts at the bottom rear of the console as others would lead you to believe. The removal of the philips head screws inside the storage bin accomplishes the same task since the bracket is shared.

I regret not removing that when I completely shampooed out the interior, I can still smell something inside even after going to town with a carpet cleaner from the trunk to the seats and carpet, another thing to get at this spring. I can readjust the handbrake while I am in there too

To my knowledge the carpets can be bought in a variety of colors, something different would be neat

Do you have a video of either replacing the emergency brake or the entire shifting w/emergency brake? My emergency brake metal handle broke and I'm not sure if I need to replace just the emergency brake or the whole assembly including the gear shifting mechanism. Thank you
