It is tho. ROPZ can clutch at least and actually provides a lot in Comms. Whereas baitF just baits and is always in a 1v5. Astralis are literally a top 3 team without him. With him they were a tier 3 team.

Thank you, Maui! Thank you for calling out RopZ in comparison to blameF. I've seen RopZ on CT side inferno play mid/boiler area with one other player and consistently abandon them when the Ts push a smoke or when the bullets start flying. He's a great player, but he's the last guy you want to trade you. Not because he won't get the trade, but because his instinct is to dip out of there and reposition. Both him and blameF are turrets, but baitF just has a ring to it that makes it easier to pick on him, I suppose.
Its achievements. Ropz has won everything and blamef hasnt. So its easy to go "if he is so good why doesnt he win" and ropz is a popular guy in general

Liquids grand slam run had 3 players from the US so if the idea is were separating the countries to contextualize the regions then those go to America not Canada. I also know a lot of fans in the US who root for Brazilian/SA teams if there aren’t any NA teams to root for

NAF and twistzz were great then and a big reason why Liquid had that amount of skill across the board but let’s not act like they duo carried that team all the time

31:00 i'm sorry but you cannot in good faith claim that icy somehow "deserves" a better team than that amkal mix. Icy has decent mechanics but if you watch more than 1 amkal demo youll notice pretty quickly how out of position he is most rounds...
My issues with BlameF was always when he was IGLing and baiting his teams with his calling and some occasional issues on CT side (mostly Nuke outside) where he played high impact positions too passively.
It is possible he has non-IGL issues but only Glaive could tell you whether that is the case. The only issue that does seem to be a problem between the two is that Glaive likes some of the roles BlameF takes.

Listen zantares is a goat way before I ever switched and played cs2 I was playing valorant and learned what an xantares peek is…..
BlameF is one of the few players Thorin is really wrong about. They missed all majors and are destroying everyone without him when they were tier 3 with him. BlameF and Ropz are quite similar but Ropz wants to actually win is better in clutches always supports and hits his util and is extremely smart and helps Karrigan in comms. Other pros are calling BlameF a baiter so that shows enough (Apex,Magisk). He is just a master of farming stats. Watch him play and you'll be like this guy is trolling his own team baiting them every round.

Why doesnt Blame going to falcons make sense? Im not arguing any point, i actually want to know. Wherever he goes, just as long as its not as an IGL.. let the boy frag. First teams that came to mind (no logic, just the first thoughts) was falcons, back to col, or liquid. (But i do like yekindar, i know i know.. i just do)

how blamef is so good but doesnt fit in any team is pretty amazing. i feel like him and niko have same issue where they wanna control alot but not really able too cause they expect so much from their teammates
blame isn't good. He's got very low hs% and he just gets exit kills
@iceboxchamberlain1 Hs rating doesnt really mean much. You can just watch and see that hes a mechanically talented player. Its just his playstyle is so self serving that he doesnt fit in a team environment.

blamef is an above average player who would probably be #25-30 on hltv at best if didn't bait his entire team. People don't complain about ropz and JKS, because even if they let a round slip, they also win an impossible clutch almost every other map, or can win you a force buy with a just a pistol. blamef neither has the skill or the game sense to do so. He's so passive that the round is already over by the time he even gets close to the site and then just gets 2 exit kills or saves. He never wins 1v3's or 1v4's which other "good" lurkers like ropz, NAF, JKS, perfecto, spinx, jabbi do on the regular. The only clutches he wins are 1v1's and 1v2's when his teammates have already put all the enemies extremely low and have given him all the info. If you don't believe me, please just watch any of his games.
He's a liability to any team he's on. And he's fully aware of how passive he is and that its hindering his team. Don't believe me? Look how he plays in an anti-eco. He just wants to boost his stats and its pretty obvious. He's fully aware that being too passive is harming the team but he won't change because people will actually see through his bullshit. And to top it all off, he has the audacity to put himself in the star positions over stavn, take the hero ak over device and take lurker positions away from jabbi (who are all miles ahead of him in both skill and clutch iq).
@@Scyborg832 what you mean hs rating doesn't mean much? Pretty much all pros are around 50-55%, and then you have players like b1t and scream with like 60+, while blame is sitting at 40. He's not a very good pro player, he's just okay.
The Paladins' Point should not be considered a good point (Americas Region).
It should be an ugly point, when m0NESY is having an off game. The team surrounding him is so shit that they can't even beat M80.

Blamef can not be on a team with more than 1 star player. Saying he doesn't kill a team is ludicrous his impact is delusional and yes the eye test shows he doesn't play a team game he plays a blamef game

If blameF is so good explain how removing him for Bro instantly made Astralis better and by a lot? Obvious reason is that while he does produce inflated numbers he does not produce actual game winning impact in his role. Jabbi is a better player for team success than him. How many chances are we gonna give him before it is obvious?

Do you not realise that both jabbi and stavn got better roles because he was removed? That doesn't make him a bad player you moron, it made the team dysfunctional role-wise.
Blamef is an impactless baiter. The reason why we all think of that ropz moment when he was still in boiler when Cloud9(a notoriously save-heavy team) was retaking B is because it is an exception rather than the rule. Ropz and many other lurkers are more proactive in their gameplan but blamef is too risk-averse to go for plays. Stavn said it himself on Talking Counter that blamef takes too many resources in the round. They use a lot of utility to get blamef in a good position on the map for him not to do anything at the expense of his teammates.
Why do viewers always complain about blamef but not other lurkers? I know people like to say that other lurkers like spinx, krimbo, or kscerato are baiters but they don't really mean it because those players aren't nearly as risk-adverse as blamef. And the average viewer does not have a visceral reaction every time they lurk compared to when blamef does it. Why is that? Why do people really only care about blamef's style but not others? It's because he's actually baiting his team lol. It shows it the stats with him having the mega rating and his teammates having ratings lower than what you'd expect
When will you guys learn that its not his aim that's the problem, its how he views the game and how he interacts with it? And until that gets fixed he is going to be a liability to any team that doesn't run double entry fragger in their composition.
Ropz and Blamef are fundamentally the same player at root, they are both lurkers who bait their teammates most of the time. But since ropz has significantly better teammates on Faze than what blamef had on Astralis, Faze is able to win more than Astralis which leads to the misconception from the community where ropz is considered "the best closer in the world" while blamef is considered as a "fucking baiter"

BlameF single handedly destroyed the legacy of Clutch minister by moving in the lurk role and not even doing a good job at it... at least on team impact. He did successfully boosted his own stats. Took Astralis 3 years and 2.2 million krones to realize that it was him who was the problem.
Come on man... Stavn doesn't exist in playoff but he makes playoff. BlameF doesn't make the playoff 3/4th of the time. The only team that will ever succeed with BlameF is where he is 4th or 5th option.

For 2 years, Clutch Minister, Mr. "Ice Water for Blood", Mr. Premium Lurker, guy who is almost always last alive, got forced under BlameF and k0nfig's Astralis to play entry roles. Xyp9x was W-keying out of A Ramp for k0nfig to bait him. Why? 'cause blameF took Xyp9x's whole damn identity minus the utility usage, despite being an impact-less lurker.

The eye Test on BlameF is awefull, he is all stats no impact. For him to be impact full he takes all the ressource of the team. Why cant a team with this STAR player according to you only win 1 tournament in the transfer season... all other teams he touches dies...
And it is because of astralis he is not on a Top 10 team, not because no one want to pay up for him, the mental gymnastics you guys have to do.
