Made the Spinach & Artichoke Cups today, and everyone was very happy with them! I was really happy because I only got the chance to make them last minute, and it was a lot easier than I expected but they looked like they took a lot of time and effort
i usually make a dry mixed vegetable curry as a stuffing for my puffed pastries. the stuffing has chopped onions, ginger, garlic, tomatoes, bell peppers, peas, cottage cheese with some indian spices like cumin powder, coriander powder, chilly powder and garam masala, salt and little sugar. i cut my pastry sheet into squares, put the stuffing, fold it and make a triangle out of it. its quite delicious. you can try it out.

I will do my stuff to mushrooms but last year I started adding fresh pecorino romano and crushed almonds that I roasted to the top and it makes them even more delicious! :-). Try it on top of your fresh mushrooms that you stuff before you put them in the oven. Merry Christmas everybody it's coming too quickly for me!
The recipes are fannntastic.....having family coming for the holidays ....planning prepare one of your many dishes....the puff pastry can be prepare in advance ....such as freeze raw.....wrap in baking parchmente then foil......now come my question......do you freeze them individually?????.....as you answer to an other susbcriber.....now....

Try brushing evaporated milk instead of egg wash on the puffed pastry. Egg on bread/pastry stinks! The evaporated milk will brown all crusts. As a college student back in the early 70's, I learned the evaporated milk trick when I worked for a restaurant owner whose wife made the pies!

My fave puff pastry apps come from Kayotic Kitchen... a mix of chicken (raw boneless skinless breasts), curry, chili sauce, ginger, soya sauce, and garlic goes into the food processor, then formed into a log and rolled up in puff pastry. Cut into little bites, brush with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake! They are so good.
