Ive a honda 420. Manufacturers recommendations for tyre pressires are 3.6psi. If you run them at 15 psi there will be excessive tyre wear on the centres of the tyres and a lot of vibration st speed. The centres of the tyres will burn out quickly Running them soft has no vibration
We have a Honda trx420 and it's a brilliant machine. It's a fm2 (power steering). What a difference it makes, just so easy to drive and wouldn't go back to a one without it now.
Fair play to you for making these videos. They take a lot of time just editing and moving the camera into different positions for different shots while recording. Looking forward to the merchandise coming. Hope it goes well for you.
You could put the radio on a timer switch adrian, comes on for a few hours, off a while and back on again. In theory it'd stop birds getting used to the noise that's always there??
Fit a rollover bar on that quad Adrian, by the end of this year all new quads must be fitted with them here in Australia (been to many deaths & serious injuries) and your farm has steep ground.
Have watched a number of your videos Adrian. Really enjoyed each of them. You have a great way with you everything explained clearly in a really warm and friendly manner. Credit to you 👍. Thanks for taking the time to make, edit and upload the content. I know how much time it must take and I really appreciate it. We work a bit at light plant and equipment hire and service so if there's anything we can help with just give us a shout. We're Magherafelt based so maybe a wee bit far from you. Best of luck to you and yours and a Happy New Year! 😀
Not a bad tire, had them on a Can-am quad maybe 10-11 years ago now. Wore fairly quick but rode nice. 15psi is way to much for a quad tire, I’ve never ran more than 10psi, you can look on the sidewall of the tire it may say a max psi? We’ve been running Mud Bug tires on the quads for a long time. Usually get 8-12,000km out of a set
Great video, keep them coming. Our children really love watching you working on the farm. Will you have a video of a cow calving soon, always interesting to see.
Adrian.... can I comment on your tyre pressures... my first quad yrs ago, fair enough was only a wee 160, but it came with a tyre gauge. Within a month, as a teenager, I had the tyres smooth as a babys bum. Then on 2nd set I was told to let them down, so I checked the manual on how to use the gauge. It was very very low, so much so, the standard tyre gauges wouldn't hardly read the pressure. I can't remember the pressure, but you get my point. If you look at your video of you going up your lane, your wheel is hoping along, almost think you could see light under it at a point. I know it makes steering light and quad feel quite responsive under throttle, but if the tyres was down, way down, it be lot more comfortable and definitely tyres wil last. My 160 then got a yr or 2out of a set after letting them down, on all concrete/tarmac driving at that, doing donuts etc etc. Radial tyres also are designed for low pressure, and the also call Low ground pressure for a reason. Just my opinion. Happy new yr
I hav the same BKT front tyres on me trx500 foreman and a kind mid range tyre on the back and the grip off the rear tyres was more than enough to go through the snow of beast from the east. And at work their kawi brute force is on BKT tyres and they just grip and pull. Grand vid again adrian
Happy New Year to you and the family Adrian. Is there a more useful tool than a battery impact wrench about the place, for me I'd not be without one and I'm not a farmer so I imagine they are invaluable to you!
I was in this video, you just didn’t see me. I bought a helmet just before Christmas and wear it when i’m on the road. I don’t wear a helmet to move the quad from one shed too another which is what I was doing in this video.
It would depend on a lot of things, do you get it rebuilt or buying new, does it take long to start? I have had this starter rebuilt twice which is normal for a 500cc quad. We also have it along time. A good earth is also very important.

Fortunate to have access to such a loyal tire man. Birds gone w/ no birds injuries. Good on you. Thanks for sharing.🐄🐄😷👍🇺🇸🇨🇮
Hello from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming.
Another great video Adrian! Really enjoy seeing you work on your kit! Always kept so tidy!
I've got the same Carlisle tires on my own quad, I hardly do any roadwork so can't compare the wear but off road grip is superb.

Ya I believe the power steering is a great job, never riding one but will probably get that on the next one
Nice one Adrian, I thought you might retire the old tyres, but no you put them straight back to work, holding buckets 😂
I agree about quad tires being expensive. We just changed our rear tires and that set us back more then we would have liked lol
Happy New Tear to you and your family. Really enjoy your videos and love the variety, thanks for showing me the farming life.

That’s a good idea Brian 👌👍

Never seen a quad with a roll over bar, it would be a good idea though
Adrian. Happy New year. Bucket fit's into the quad tyre really tight. I use them for the same job work very well
Great video as always Adrian..we have machinery on pallets like yourself and put a few castors on them a few years ago..awful handy

A good thing to do is after using the impact to tighten the rims is use a socket set and go around the bolts to make sure they are fully tight
Yes definitely a good idea, I run it fir a few days then tighten them again with the ratchet.
Happy New Year Adrian, looking forward to the next year of videos, keep up the good work👍
Yes that tread looks good..............might clean out better in the muck
Love the extra led reverse light.. go Cavan !!
I always fit one to all of my pickups, very handy
I have a set of them on a can am quad from new, you won't get her stuck with a set of them on her. Seem like a good tyre

Dewalt, I went with that as I have the whole family of dewalt body that run on the XR batteries. I love it
Great look good tyre's I would just check wheel nuts by hand just incase 👍
Happy new year hope the ploughing championships will be on this year 🤞
Another use for your old tyre is putting it in as a scratching post for the cattle tie it to a rope and they acn scratch away
Love the videos keep it up👍
Well Adrian. After how many hours do ya service quad each time ?
I don’t go by the hours, I just service it every January as well as the tractors.
Lovely set of tyres. Quad will be differnt machine now to drive. Great help with the dogs there too 😂
Ya really like them tyres so fare, I don’t get much room to work with them pair, I have them spoiled!!!
Happy New Year to you and the family Adrian. Is there a more useful tool than a battery impact wrench about the place, for me I'd not be without one and I'm not a farmer so I imagine they are invaluable to you!
Same to you and yours, yes an impact wrench is a great tool to have
You didnt like the alan clyde slicks, was beginning to think there the new trendy tyres
Jesus he definitely got his money’s worth of them anyhow 🤦🏻
Will u go slightly oversize on new tyres on the case because of loader
Yes definitely
Where did you get that quad ?

Would that impact be good for taking off car tires, if so could I get the model
Yes would do that with ease
Any time frame on when the merchandise is coming out ? Love the videos 😊
Hopefully very soon, will know more this week as people get back to work. Will update very soon.
Roundabout how expensive are those new tyres on the quad they look very good
There good value, check out there website or your local tyre centre
Cant beat a honda quad, never had one let us down, when you trade that yoke in youd be wanting to trade for a trx520, mint quads
Adrian, do you know much about CF moto quads? Looking to buy one here, dairy farm like yourself
I really don’t know Philip, never had any experience with one
Adrian how come u don't wear a helmet when using the quad I noticed
I was in this video, you just didn’t see me. I bought a helmet just before Christmas and wear it when i’m on the road. I don’t wear a helmet to move the quad from one shed too another which is what I was doing in this video.

Great video Adrian
Do you milk in the winter 🤔
Happy New year great video
Get yourself a nice sheepdog/cattledog to sit on the back of the quad would top it off

Top class man
Great video when is the merch coming out
Very soon

Happy new year adrian and family
Your doing a great job
Tyre presher sholdent be 15psi that is very hard for a quad tyer you get more grip if you lower the psi a little
do you go to gaffeys baileborough?
No Cootehill mostly
Who loves the vids hon d Irish 👉👉👉
Adrian do you go to the ploughing championships?
Every second or third year we try to get there
Yeah same here
Happy new year
How many acres are you farming
Now new tyres for the case 😈
What tyre centre do you go to
We go to a few, GT Tyres Cootehill or Shane Mc manus Louth.
So i'm guessing you didn't give the old tires to your friend after all, poor fella!
Turned out to be too wide, it’s only a Chiness quad he has and they would of probably fitted but would completely kill its power. All 50cc of it 🤦🏻
Cf moto are a good quad
I have no idea lad sorry , there not common around these parts at all
Nice one Adrian 👌🏻 any chance you know the model number of your impact gun? Looks a grand compact one
Yes I put a link to the exact number in the description of this video
@@IFarmWeFarm cheers lad 👍🏻
