I have owned this knife for 2 years, it has gutted fish, pheasant grouse partridge rabbits and hare, chopped 1000s ov branches for sloes. Still razor sharp. Honestly it's ridiculously good, probably best £180quid I've ever spent.

Actually its a full flat grind. Just the coating playing tricks. There is a micro bevel.

D2 isn't considered stainless it is just under the chromium requirement. I haven't had any major issues that cannot be explained with it though. I like D2 in fixed blade knives.
I like D2 also! Fox does a great job.
by the way, how much does this knife normally cost?
Good question been a while since I purchased it. May have got it from Lamnia.

Is this High carbon steel?
D2 steel is an air hardening, high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel. It has high wear and abrasion resistant properties. It is heat treatable and will offer a hardness in the range 55-62 HRC, and is machinable in the annealed condition. D2 steel shows little distortion on correct hardening.
I'm thinking that would help dig a nice fox hole. 🦊

I wouldn't compare the ESEE6 to this knife. The Fox Bushman is on a league of it's own.
