I know you probably won't see this but I still wanted to come on here and say thank you. I was really struggling personally for a while and my dental hygiene got really bad, during this time the one time I managed to go to the dentist to try and get some help. I didn't actually receive any advice only a lot of judgment. Which made even thinking of going back a lot harder. I started having panic attacks whenever the dentist was even mentioned but then your videos started coming up on my for you page. The first couple were hard to watch but you seemed so friendly and helpful so I kept coming back I fixed a lot of my routine and today I even managed to make it in to the dentist for a cleaning. It didn't go perfectly but I had a really great dentist this time who was incredibly understanding. I'm doing much better now I just really wanted to leave my thanks because watching your videos genuinely really helped me with my fears. Thank you ❤

Bentist, I’ve been considering starting a new journey in orthodontics and it would be really interesting to hear how you got started! Things like your passions and how you added a moved into the content creator market. I know this would probably not satisfy your majority audience, but it would be amazing to see. Just food for thought.

my brackets are like this, and on one of my brackets the door opened and now I can pull the wire out but I'm gonna get it fixed 😅

well i'm glad i told my dentist i didn't care about the colour. Still been in braces for 5 years though ( and counting ).
hey i have a question, i just got my rubber bands in and the dentist said that i only have to wear them while i sleep, but they also mentioned that on my next check up depending on how my teeth are i will have to start wearing them during the day. my question is, can i start wearing my bands during the day rn, so that it speeds up the process, or will that damage my teeth in some way?
if the rubber bands are put on first and then the new wire will it still make me have them longer?

Benntist i have some aliners in rn and they really hurt like a lot when i take them off to eat its like unbearable for about 5 to 10 minutes in this normal?
I have a question. Today, a molar with a filling broke while enjoying a chicken nugget, but the pulp is absolutely nowhere even exposed, and am only experiencing mild pain because of sensitivity. What do you suppose my dentist can do to fix it?
Edit: Only the part where the filling filled the tooth wall broke, but no other part of the tooth.

Two questions. My dentist did not contour one two of my root canals. They both are smooth. Making chewing on that side difficult. Why did he do that? Second, why don't dentists use the protectant that is used on children. To seal adult teeth that the enamel is brushed away near the gums?

Hey Mr Bentist you know what sucks, I got my braces on the day just before my birthday so I got braces for my birthday, also is it normal for braces to be put on baby teeth
Edit: I also would like to say my teeth are pretty straight even before the braces so I don't think that really is a difference like my orthodontist said that aren't really seeing any effect when I got brackets on my moleluar teeth so I don't think there will be much of a difference on them so I am scared that they might do something else, my mom told me to shruge it off but I need someone to talk to about this plz

Bentist, I don't think I have rubber bands on my braces (been in braces for like 6-8 months) is that bad, or is it a different type of braces or something?
Dental Assistant here :) sometimes you do t get rubber bands until later in the treatment. If there’s no “O”bands it may be because of the type of bracket
when i was in braces de first time i diddnt need em until later in treatment just de left then both sides then they said i diddnt need em anymore

Bentist I know you get a lot of comments but I wanted to share something.when I had braces the wire would move by itself to the other side of my mouth. It was at the point it would start poking my cheek. It kept happening often until they started to do that cross thing with the bands. That stopped it from happening then they stopped doing it. I asked why did the wire do that and they said they didn't know. Idk if you'll see this and maybe you'll know why that happened. This was like 18 years ago too sorry lmao. I just remembered it happening and how annoying it was.
